The Mock World Assembly Program

The World Assembly,
Recognizing the importance of education, especially in regard to the political process;
Understanding that exposure of government institutions to the youth encourages political participation and active citizenship;
Noting the diplomatic value of students from various World Assembly member nations coming together to discuss promising change in the world,
Hereby establishes The Mock World Assembly Program through the following parameters:
- The Office of Education Exchange shall organize and conduct at least one session of The Mock World Assembly Program annually.
- Session(s) shall take place in the deliberative chambers of The World Assembly including both The General Assembly and The Security Council.
- Each session shall consist of both a General Assembly and Security Council component.
- Member nations are to create a set criteria by which its student representatives are to be chosen whether that be by the holding of a mock government event, an application process, or some objective and unchanging criteria that is available to applicants before the beginning of the deliberation process.
- Each member nation shall send no more than two student representatives who are below the age of majority in that nation but no lower than twelve years of age.
- A session may last no fewer than two days and no greater than seven days.
- The Office of Building Management shall schedule a proper time for each session so that no official business of The Word Assembly may be scheduled at the same dates or times as the mock session.
- All funds required to host the session including the arrangement of student housing, travel, and meals will be drawn from the World Assembly General Fund.
