I mean, by all your rights you are allowed to submit your proposal without drafting. If you actually want to accomplish your goals, though, you are all but required to undergo that dialogue that you seem to dread. Most all major voters will vote against solely for the lack of drafting. So, do you want to actually make meaningful change or do you want to get in arguments over two decades-old history? If it’s the former, you can probably take a little bit of crust, as you put it. It increases the odds of passage tenfold.

Bradfordsborough is back at it again? Well, I'm not really surprised there. Back when I started my first term as ambassador of XKI to Radiant Republic Bradfordsborough was the founder. I can't remember if they CTEd at one point or went inactive, or what caused it, but the community of The Radiant moved to a new region during my term where Odinburgh was in charge. Once that happened I petitioned the Co9 to move the embassy status to the new region.

Once Bradfordsborough came back he threw a fit, and went after the old community trying to get them to return to his region under his control. Let's just say he wasn't doing it in a nice way, either. But anyways, I won't support anything like this from this player because of their past in dealing with communities that were formerly in their region.

The Radiant is incidentally now a TBH trophy, in low-key retaliation for his antics during the first invasion of Westphalia

The lack of raid and the opportunism by the author (basically them pleading to the WA to open up a region they once were in charge to go back) already makes an opposition stance clear.

While I don't like the established paradigm of "We will vote against a proposal no matter the quality if the author does not put a drafting thread up", I would be voting against this. I cannot possibly imagine carrying a grudge for nearly 20 years, occasionally popping up to insult and rage at people in the old region, and carrying on like this. When you were DEATed for griefing, the game was, what, a year old? You've spent 18x that time chasing something that will never happen instead of just moving on.

Move on, it's over. It was over during the Chrétien administration.
