[Greater Angelus]

The Greater Angelan Republic is a unitary parliamentary assembly-independent republic. The President of the Republic serves as head of state and government, and is elected by majority vote by the legislature. The People's Council is the unicameral legislative branch, with 450 directly-elected geographical constituencies and 150 functional constituencies elected once every 2 years. The judicial branch's supreme authority is split between the Supreme Court and the Constitutional Court. Administrative divisions are referred to as Districts and are led by an appointed Chief Executive and an elected District Council. State corporations are treated as political entities and also subject to periodic democratic elections for their Chief Executives and Board of Directors.

Angelus is often regarded as a dominant-party state due to the predominance of the long-governing Angelan Nationalist Revolutionary Organization (ANRO). Despite no specific laws prohibiting the establishment of opposition parties, to date it remains exceedingly difficult to register one and no People's Councilor has ever been a non-member of the ANRO-led Motherland Front. Pro-government parties included in the front include the Communist Party of Greater Angelus, the Democratic Alliance of Angelan Revolutionary Socialists, and the Popular Alliance for Moral Government.

East Plate is a self-governing colony within the British Empire.

The Colony of East Plate has enjoyed considerable levels of autonomy since its inception after its annexation to the Empire in 1839 as a way to keep its small but mainly non-British population content. Under British administration, the colony received a massive quantity of English, Scottish and Irish migrants, as well as settlers from other parts of the British Empire such as Canada and Australia, quadrupling its population in just a few years and radically changing its cultural identity, making its original inhabitants a minority in their own lands. This led the British Parliament to pass the East Plate Constitution Act 1858, which effectively granted East Plate its first Responsible government with the establishment of the Parliament of East Plate. This system of government embodies the principle of parliamentary accountability, meaning that its government is responsible to the Eastplatine Parliament, and in turn, to its people, rather than to the Imperial Government of London.

• Legislative Power

The Legislative Power of East Plate is vested on the General Assembly, most commonly known as the Parliament of East Plate, which is composed of the Queen (represented by the Governor), the House of Representatives and the Legislative Council. The East Plate Parliament remains subordinate to the British Parliament, the supreme legislative authority for the entire British Empire, although it receives progressively more control over Eastplatine affairs through the passage of Imperial laws, constitutional amendments, and an increasingly hands-off approach by the British government.

The Upper House of the Parliament is the Legislative Council, which is made of up to 20 unelected members. Members can be appointed by the Government, the Governor, or the Monarch. Each constituent territory of East Plate (Provinces, Territories, and Dependencies) receive 2 members in the Legislative Council. The Lower House of the Parliament is the House of Representatives, which is composed of 51 members who are elected directly by the people of East Plate (or rather, by the people in the electoral franchise of the colony, that is, men with money/land or with an education). These 51 members come from all the constituent parts of the Colony, with each receiving a proportional amount of representatives according to their population.

• Executive Power

According to East Plate's Constitution, the Executive Power is headed by the Governor of East Plate, who is chosen by the Monarch of the British Empire, based on a list made by the British Secretary of State for the Colonies. The Governor is a viceregal position and takes the role of a constitutional monarch within a democracy, with constitutional, ceremonial, and community duties, representing the Queen. By tradition, the Governor only acts and exercises his powers on the advice of the Colonial Secretary, also known as the Premier.

The Colonial Secretary is a member of the House of Representatives appointed by the Governor, on the advice of the House, and acts as an "elected governor", providing advice to the sovereign, or the sovereign’s representative (the governor) and appointing ministers and chairing the cabinet (choosing from the members of the House of Representatives in the General Assembly). In addition, the Colonial Secretary is the main spokesperson for the government both within and outside Parliament.

Its complicated, but its basically a semi-parliamentary catholic directorial theocracy with a delicate powersharing balance between the Catholic Church, and secular leaders. Basically, its like vatican city combined with Belarus and the UK.

The Eagle State is a colony of another nation. This hegemonial nation is a feudal monarchy, a kingdom. The Eagle State itself is a Lord Protectorate, and the Lord Protector is considered the President of the Eagle State. The President is King of the hegemonial nation as well. The Eagle State has unicameral legislative body which doesn't make any decisions however. Only one party is allowed in the Eagle State so there's only the one party in the legislative body.
