[Q] Can you delay your resolution from coming to vote?

I am not a WA nation and my WA nation has not authored any proposals and will not do so in the foreseeable future, but I have had this question on my mind for a while.

If a resolution reaches quorum, can the author(s) delay the resolution from coming to vote?
I think not, but not sure.

Until the resolution is actually at vote, the author can delete the proposal at any time. Even when the proposal has reached quorum, the author still has the ability to delete their proposal.

Without deletion, the proposal will go to vote (assuming it is legal, at quorum, top of queue, and the voting floor empties). There is no way to delay the vote, other than preventing it entirely.

You cannot delay your resolution from coming to vote. Once you submit it, there is a time limit that counts down for delegates to approve your resolution. If you're first in queue, then the proposal goes to vote on the next major update. If there is a line of proposals that reached quorum, yours will have to wait until the others either make it to the WA voting floor or somehow are marked illegal or get withdrawn.

Delaying is not possible, no. When I posted earlier, the thread still talked about "stopping a resolution coming to a vote" as Tinhampton said, so my apologies if what I wrote earlier is confusing anyone.

I changed it from stop to delay because I realized my question was not coming over correctly.
