democratic forces just liberated the barely defend town of killighton and we're marching in formation along the road as civilians cheered them on. only 1.4 kilometers from the start of the metro area. Their line of defense practically 'indestructible but church forces we're about to destroy it. 5.3 kilometers away unknown to democratic forces a line of nearly 100 pieces are artillery waits. A stolen civilian and a church priest watching the march confirm that they are on target. They fire a full volley of HE shells and rockets at the march. It rains down on the soldiers and civilians. Within seconds the march is turned into a pile of bodies. the shells of the tanks and AT cannons explode. Then pro-church forces open fire from the housing in the metro area. the few remaining democratic forces attempt to fire back. communications break down resulting in the democratic artillery not firing and not knowing of an attack. The remaining forces man the trenches, and remaining tanks and AT guns as church militias men charge en-masse with tanks. unforchantly for church forces some of the machine gunners survived and open hell upon the infratry but without the AT and tank support tank easily take them out. As church forces enter their trenches the few remaining democratic forces go to HQ and prepare to defend till the death. artillary and tanks quickly take their position. The democratic forces have been delt a humanitating blow. causilities:

church forces: 4 jets, 3 artillery pieces, 23 tanks, and 9k troops down. they begin to advance up to the democratic forces in hou(the state their fighting in)'s supply line at inhouche.

OOC: Generally how people in proper RPs do it is to just wing it tbh. A lot of RPing is dialogue even in threads like these, so that fucks with any fixed time scale. Then again, given that apparently the people in this thread prefer to simply throw bombs and massed artillery at each other without a thought towards telling even a half-decent story the whole 'one minute = 1 day' thing works ig.

democratic troops at the FOB and artillery stations have tried multiple times to contact their front-line troops. Then the sounds of tanks. An officer 'john Wilson Grabs his binoculars and looks to find where the sounds are coming from then he spots church tanks coming towards them. He tells the commander who orders to rush the troops to the cannons but by the time they're ready they realize they're too close for the artillery to be in range. The commander orders 'order 51' defend to the last breathe as the tanks approach. every last man tries to take out the tanks but without any short-range AT the tanks charge over the line. They do fight to the last man for a few minutes preventing the tanks to go to inhouche. They also successfully tell defenders of the attack. democratic jets aid the defenders in taking out the tanks but they fall all remaining democratic soldiers are killed. in inhouche they propare defenses and renforcements are sent.

2:19 P.M. laka city north of the capital.
with operation snake on the way(a dual attack on the capitols reinforcements) from laka city and ZN troops in Hallin. ZN troops are surrounded in the city of laka and want to break out. The command orders 20k troops but the communications break before they could spot 30k church forces on two mountains sides. The two hills open fire and surprise attack the force. with no communications, The commander tells 2k troops to order 67 'charge till he death' to save the remaining troops. The church forces are surprised by the troops bravery and lose multiple positions and hold it off from counter-attacks. The other 10k remaining troops successfully retreat to the city of laka. The troops finally fall and church forces begin actively shooting at the city. the city of laka is now under seige

that would be impossible becuase at least 5000 people are in the building. also over 400 billion NSD worth of religouse artifacts is in the cathedral. (I am talking about the capitol of the church. Their is a capitol cathedral in capital district which what you decribed could happen but it's not important in the religion.)
