In late October of 2017 I hung out with my friend Dante for a weekend. We went to see his step-dad Byrd and while at his apartment, I related to Byrd how i was still stuck on my ex girlfriend at the time. And I remember Byrd saying to me "but why would you wanna remain stuck on someone who isn't stuck on you? She isn't even thinking about you anymore and you're still thinking about her." That shit was so true. Why remain stuck on someone who doesn't even give a shit about you?

I alternate between those two, particularly the latter on those days where I feel misanthropic or short-tempered.

I guess the last one that I live by is to never assume you're the smartest person in any room, and never to be the loudest person in any room either. Makes you look bad and reflects poorly on your inner-self.

A while ago an altercation between me and my family took place, which leads to me undergoing one of the most if not the most humiliating moments in my life that I can still remember like it was yesterday. I won't enlighten any of you on the specifics of that event.

But part of the reason why I still get up in the morning despite feeling less than willing to wake up ever again is that I have never forgotten all the anger and hate that boiled in me on that day and all the future events that followed after.

Sometimes I think the only reason why I haven't completely lost it yet, haven't indulged myself in all the thoughts that sleep in the back of my head, is because of all the anger I keep locking up in my head to keep going. I would like to think that I could be more without all the anger, but I can't really imagine it.
