For me it only seems to be in the Database Connection Error thread page 2. The rest is normal.

This sometimes happens. I'm not sure if it's related, but it's not exclusively related.

I reckon it's a known defect to the Admins.

This type of error is due to improperly nested tags in Cormoe's signature; instances like this should be reported in the "Broken Thread" Megathread in future.

I've fixed the signature, so all should be back to normal in that regard (unfortunately fixing that sig that won't help the site-wide issue that's out of my purview).

No, it's not a sign of an exploit. All mis-nested BBCodes (spoiler, quote, and align are usually the biggest culprits, occasionally table and box as well) do is mess up the display HTML. It has zero impact on forum functionality, it just messes with the display a little.
