What is the Kiffa Economic Development Scheme?
The Kiffa Economic Development Scheme, often shortened to KEDS or the KEDS, is an organisation founded, staffed and funded by the Mauritalian government. It is intended to guide and positively affect the effect of international aid, be it in the form of monetary funds or goods. While the KEDS accepts any and all aid offers, it additionally promotes various achievable projects on its platform. Through these means, it seeks to provide accountability and transparency to its international benefactors. All Mauritalian citizens are able to send in their plans at no cost of their own and the KEDS only receives the bare minimum of payment for its role as both a knowledge center and trusted middle-man/broker.
Its name comes from the capital city of Mauritalia, Kiffa, and the symbol it represents to the Mauritalian people. Unlike the other larger cities within the nation, Kiffa was selected as a neutral spot where the vast majority of the Mauritalian cultures could get together and grow together. In a similar fashion, KEDS seeks to grow the Mauritalian nation in a neutral, diverse and, most importantly, sustainable manner.
Why choose the Kiffa Economic Development Scheme?
- Truthful information straight from the Mauritalian government
- Years of on-the-ground experience guiding projects to fruition
- Provide aid to targeted citizens and projects
- Shape the future of a nation
- No donations rejected, no matter the size

Mauritalian Railways seeks to expand its route!
Mauritalian Railways currently operates one rail line, the Bamako-Kiffa line. Starting at the river port of Koulikoro, the line goes through the largest city in Mauritalia before continuing its route through regional cities before it ends in the Mauritalian capital of Kiffa. Thanks to the Bamako-Kiffa line, goods are transported to and from the hinterlands and the line especially aids the capital of Kiffa, where prices are kept reasonably through the wholesale importation of goods via rail. Citizens are able to receive healthcare and education that would previously be reserved solely for the ones living in the larger cities.
However, the true potential of Mauritalian Railways remains untapped. Due to budgetary restraints, the government has been forced to keep the railways at their current size and exploitation. Opportunities exist in both passenger services and the transportation of goods. Simple expansions such as branch stations within Bamako to alleviate traffic congestion to massive, multi-stage expansions exist on paper and will be able to be executed once funds and/or materials come in.
Apostle John Ekane is looking to start broadcasting
Apostle John Ekane is the leader of the Wondrous Glory of God Ministry located in the capital city of Kiffa. One of the larger church groups, Apostle John Ekane has already managed to pour the love of his congregation and the divine wealth and glory provided by the Lord into a large, modern church within Kiffa and smaller ones in Kankossa and Bou Mdeid. More followers flock to his banner every year and the Apostle knows that this is the reason that this is why the Mauritalian economy is improving.
While Mauritalia remains a rather impoverished nation, television and the internet remain a great way to reach the masses. As such, Apostle John Ekane would love to receive professional cameras, preferably with user manuals. That way, he will be able to spread his message to the people and ensure that the economic situation within the nation will continue to improve. As he is magnanimous and gracious, the Apostle will further share his message, his spirit and his godly mission for free to the rest of the world. It's what the Lord wants.

[OOC note: For now, this remains very much WIP but still workable. Feel free to send anything from genuine aid to worthless things, all I ask is something like a proper letter stating what and how. In time, I plan on including news posts and updates and such on what was donated.]
