Even though he is President, he has been elected 4 times in the last 7 elections. By many, he is considered a national hero of sorts. He has had many counties named after him even though it has caused bureaucratic chaos among the central and state governments with trying to organize the states correctly. His party has gained a hold on the nation's political functioning, as well. It is alleged that leading members of his party have been attending and creating secret cult meetings, although this could just be part of a new planning process. Despite all this fame and glory, President Vantori doesn't want this attention.

A branch of his party wanted him to even become monarch once in 1997. They would later create their own party, which is now banned for their extreme ideology they were promoting.

President Danilo Fonseca Torres (NS field not up to date with canon in progress) would be classified as a 1 as he is widely unpopular, garnering an approval rating of 22% and falling. A left-wing populist of the National Revolutionary Party, he came to office when the rival Liberal-Christian-Laborist alliance was fractured and viewed unfavorably by the public, so his main opposition was the controversial far-right National Action Party. Although his first four years as president were surprisingly inoffensive, a resurgence of a center-left opposition caused him to consider drastic steps to remain in power.

In 2020, he unlawfully dismantled the funds and administration of election agencies and declared elections would be delayed until the emerging COVID outbreak was deemed to no longer be a threat, though there were few public worries at this time. He then held elections months later once forced to by the Federal Electoral Commission and the Supreme Court, but by this point, there was a deep panic about the pandemic among the public. His pandemic response was otherwise competent save for graft in the process of securing PPE, but rising discontent prompted Fonseca to enforce unfair and arbitrary anti-government and religious assembly bans inconsistent with lax restrictions on business and pro-government rallies. Various issues surrounding the inevitable protests were the refusal of the National Guard to enforce these laws, an open criminal cartel presence in the streets, leaked incidents of the Fonseca administration pressuring social media companies into censoring criticism, and cases of alleged divisive ethnic and religious statements from party higher-ups. Finally, the National Revolutionary Party has seemingly come out in support of the Russian war effort while also condemning it on other occasions, culminating in a series of failures to block aid to Ukraine.

This string of gaffes, scandals, and incidents all during the pandemic make President Fonseca even less popular than the presidents during the Lost Decade, the 1994 real crisis, and the Global Financial Crisis. He is expected to resign or be barred from holding office if he is convicted in the ongoing Supreme Court case over election interference, which is accompanied by several pending prosecutions and lawsuits concerning corruption and constitutional violations.

He has boosted national culture, given several iconic speeches, and his public image is very favourable, due to his ability to connect with the common man, and his public speaking skills.

The Electra Aurora is consider a sacred figure in Airceltria because she is very much the spiritual leader of the state and is technically the head of state, her secular counterpart being the head of government. While there are a few places named after her and her birthday is consider a national holiday in truth she isn't revered as a god as more of a spiritual authority of a organized faith much like the Pope.
