Mikey Casal (5): Nearly all of the nation's policies are a result of his personal dislikes and preferences; if he dislikes something then it is almost immediately banned. It is also illegal to criticize anything about his personal life, particularly pertaining to his same sex marriage while homosexuality remains illegal in the nation. Additionally, he presents himself as a father figure of the nation and one of the last true freedom fighters amongst a world dominated by "marxists".

He is worshipped because he is the reincarnation of the head deity of our pantheon, but that's just one reason. Another he has possesses the lost art/science of magic our people once had and is currently the only one who has magic though he promises to rectify this. With said magic he has demonstrated his abilities. That he is biologically immortal, that is he no longer ages. During the revolution he also destroyed an entire fleet in space with a single spell, as well leveled cities and bases with again a single spell. He could end worlds with ease should he desire to. For all intents and purposes he IS a God amongst mortals. But he doesn't saturate the country with propaganda about himself, in fact he seemes determined to maintain a private life. No the Cult that has formed was born from his actions and ability then anything he desired or tried to make. He is unashamedly a nationalist, yes. But that just means he puts the nation, the state above himself. All his royal expenses and living doesn't even come from taxes but his own private wealth he aquired on his long travels far beyond our galaxy or even universe. The Government is a blend between a Constitutional Monarchy and a Theocracy. Putting him at the head of both institutions. While he technically has unlimited political power he seems to never exercise this and is content to allow the democratic body of the government govern largely as it sees fit. Only has he intervened when something displeased him. He is a benevolent Father, God, and Emperor to his nation and his people. He holds himself to very high standards for our sake. He desires not to to be a despot but a loving Father who guides and protects us.

Iraxon III Arkon Exarkrion is the fourth and current Arkon. The government system is dificult to explain; here is a factbook explaining it.

He is respected among the people and generally uncontroversial. His actions to protected Exarkyon from the pandemic and condemnation of the invasion in Ukraine were both applauded by the people.

Funnyman, ruler of the Funnyman Empire and the Orcuo Territory holds a massive cult like following, ranking a 7 on the Cult-o-meter. Propaganda runs rampant throughout the country, citizens view him as essentially God. He has asserted himself in all forms of media and aspects of life. This includes several laws that require and individual to worship him. This includes the “Pray Law” in which all citizens are required to pray to Funnyman when they wake up, every time before they eat, and before they go to sleep. Funnyman’s face is on posters, statues, and any other form of art. In fact it’s required by law that all art made in the Country’s Art Department be made about him. Funnyman has made his own version of the Bible and requires that all citizens read it.

Michael Dragonheart II || Score: 5
Michael Dragonheart II is the King of Belecthoria and its Empire. Highly popular (especially among Belecthorians, Allegorians, Logicians, Ioanians, and Nesri), he receives little criticism except from fringe groups and some hardliners as he is credited with victory in the Great Thiran War. He is considered the greatest Belecthorian monarch since King Vilnius XIII in the 1890s, portraits are common in households that can afford them, and he has many dedicated followers. While it is technically illegal to insult the Royal Family, King Michael has issued a Royal Decree ending arrests and prosecutions against those that insult the Crown; he has also issued many pardons on that front as well, though this decision has proven unpopular in more loyalist and conservative circles. Many people support and embrace the private political beliefs of King Michael because of his status as the savior of the 16 Kingdoms, resulting in a current split between the Monarchist Party (a long-standing royalist party that seeks to follow the monarch's political beliefs to a T) and the Loyal Fedrilican Party (a pro-monarchy left-wing populist party that stretched from the center-right to the far-left).

Cults of personality in Bengal depend really on the person. The Battling Begums, however rich their drama is, have a cult of personality, due to their intricate involvement with Bengali politics, but the general populace is mostly of the opinion that none of the Begums would particularly contribute to the country in a meaningful way. Our current leader, Mosharraf Karim, does not have a major Cult of Personality, although he has a good following from his ongoing acting career.

3.5. The national flag of A Big Tummy is a close-up of The Big Cheese (the head of state)'s tummy, but people don't worship her or anything. A picture of The Big Cheese's tummy (as seen in A Big Tummy's banner) appears on the cover of every school textbook, along with a random quote by The Big Cheese, but there are no lèse-majesté laws, and she doesn't enjoy any more perks or privileges than your standard head of state does.

Known by all who respect him as the/his Supremacy, Kranis has built himself a cult of personality that remains unrivalled in its fanaticism to his leadership which in some sense is not unearned as he's managed to create an empire out of nothing almost singlehandedly thanks in part to his fierce abilities and unlimited thirst for power. The worship that he has garnered can be further explained by his magnificent powers surpassing those of his own people the Hethropians whose own destructively chaotic peculiarities have necessitated a campaign of such copious amounts of bloodshed to unite them that even his most ambitious and zealous adversaries protest in silence. But his reputation isn't only built up pn past deeds, Kranis is also spearheading the continual expansion of Kranism throughout the multiverse and beyond which requires the utmost loyalty from all his subjects as a single sign of inefficiency is seen as an irredeemable waste within the judgment of his eyes, this persistent need for perfection has created a culture of uniformity within Kranistan with Kranis' personality as an example to emulate if one doesn't want to perish by the hands of one's hethropian kin. Though the cult might mostly center around the hethropian social sphere it still holds a merciless iron grip on non-hethropian society, threatening to crush any and all signs of disobedience within those who are deemed inferior.

Raissa Carvalho (5) Considered the great liberator of Portzania, due to his involvements in the guerilla tactics int he war of independence from Britain in 1976. After seizing power in the coup, he has gained a rather reverent follower base, and despite claiming a republic, has been defacto dictator for over 30 years through corruption and election frauds.

King Baloo von Bruinwald XIV (Past Timeline): (7)

Considered to be the most powerful and well-respected leader of Baloo Kingdom. Thought of as the eternal lord and savior of the kingdom itself and its people. Literal cult started around his image called the Baloominati. Authoritarian means of citizen surveillance per the use of mandatory home-installed statues that hold the image of Baloo von Bruinwald XIV. Unable to be ousted from power or removed from office; just as unlikely for anyone to attempt to within the country itself.

King Baloo von Bruinwald XV (Present Timeline): (6)

Less authoritative than his father as a result of influence from the outside world. Brought some sense of a free market back to Baloo Kingdom. Consolidated the Baloo Statue production as well as other previously state-owned propaganda products into the Baloocorp Organization. Continued as the second leader of the Baloominati, but toned down some aspects of making himself godlike. Civil rights expanded somewhat.

President of the Republic of Kamazuland, Adam Overo, is around a 4.

Overo is respected by a majority of the population for his political liberalisation, national economic growth and inroads into the international community. His opponents think of him as an authoritarian strongman, responsible for a curtail on free speech, and an increase in police brutality.

President Oxaretsen Polan Dzuneka (spelling varies by famously unreliable romanisation systems) is probably a 3.5.
She doesn't actually really have a cult of personality, as there have been no efforts to make people like her through propaganda and the like. It's more that she's revered as a pretty brilliant person anyway. She's definitely not worshipped, but many people have a small picture of her hanging in their house somewhere.

Respected more than this, but lacking the characteristics of a type 4. More respected for her deeds than as a person.
Foreign Minister Neri Virtanen: 3.5
Considered a key figure in national politics, even more respected than Seppanen, but still lacking type 4 characteristics.

[Independent Republic of Boldonia]

Gregory Simmons (3) Leader of the Boldonian Resistance from 1943-1944. Often considered one of the only historical "heros" from Boldonia. Despite his fame in his later years he tried to stop any future Boldonians from worshiping him, saying he "just so happened to be in the right place at the right time." Namesake of the Simmons Causeway between Downtown Parmilo and Parmilo Beach.

Carl Holstein (2) First president of the Independent Republic of Boldonia, his political ideology didn't align with the rest of the country but even by liberals he is respected for his attempts at increasing bipartisan cooperation during a time where liberals and conservatives were at each other's throats.

Mark Young (2) First vice president and second president. His party is the majority party around Boldonia, however even his most avid supporters admit he is timid and unwilling to take drastic measures even if they are absolutely necessary.

Jün Aenasé, elected Queen of Marainta.
She's brought us out of a violent civil war before, is an ardent pacifist. The country has become the most powerful on Earth under her rule. Definitely a four.
Not protected by lese majeste laws, being a very politically free land, but still revered as a great leader nonetheless.

Lisa I. Beatrix (7) The kings of Lionsroar are considered gods due to pronounced propaganda and the population's affiliation with the state religion Imperatia. The king is legitimized by the ancestors and souls of previous rulers, and will also descend and rule in the realm of the dead sometime after his death.

[Golyna]

Most Golynan Presidents and Premiers fall into categories 1-3, with the least respected leader being Gertrude Baxter, the worst Premier in Golynan history, being widely remembered for all the wrong reasons. There is one leader who is at category 4 though, and that is Simon Drummond. Drummond was the first Premier of modern Golyna and is the architect of many government institutions, curtailing authoritarianism early in history. Statues, streets, and even some towns and villages are named after him and he will go down in history as the man that founded the nation. Because he didn't write much, his personal life (from a historians perspective) is rather uncontroversial, and he willingly stepped down from power yet those in the Assembly wanted him back so badly they created an entire office for him, President, a mostly ceremonial position that enforces rules in the assembly. He was forced to accept the offer, being unwilling at first to go back, yet only served five years as President before dying of tuberculosis.

The Head-of-State of the United Kingdom of New England and Greater New Brunswick, His Most Holy and Most Authoratative, King and Lifelong Sovereign of all New England, Jakob II would be considered 4.3 on the 1-7 scale laid forth. This is mainly because of his status as King. He has proven rather unengaged with politics, though he did spearhead the Boston Convention. He is known for his charity work and work in the military. With that said, he is still considered human and he is not the central aspect of the state. Portraits and photographs of him are mandated in government buildings, and many others (especially statesmen and members of the military) have a photo of them in their homes. His Majesty's insult is not criminalized, though it has been known to end the careers of politicians who do it.

The Head-of-Government for the United Kingdom of New England and Greater New Brunswick, The People's Minister, as per the Will of the New English People and Crown, John Lackshore, is a 2. He is generally-well liked and is thought of decently even by the Opposition. His handling of COVID, the economy, and the environment are all liked. Government buildings are required to have a photograph of him on the premises, though it would be seen as odd to have a photo of him in a private setting. No laws exist regarding insulting him; though he has brought up libel suits against political oponents who he believed to have lied about him.

All leaders of Himmelland are to be 1s, as one of the greatest fears of Himmelland is ending up with a party or bureaucratic elite. While some leader may receive 2s because of their well-thought choices during, say, an international crisis, there is an active fight against leaderism and cults of personality in Himmelland. Even with the introduction of ranked-choice voting, it is seen as odd to vote exclusively for even a single party, and ballot splitting is socially encouraged.
To put it simply: 1, because never again must we have a vanguard.

Her (shortened) title leaves little to argue about when considering her as a worshipped figure. She is not only an elected Queen, but her mother, Marceline I, is greatly revered as the founder of modern Elvectica, so naturally, she is widely beloved (Despite this, it is considered unholy by the church and Covenant if the monarchy passes through more than one successive relative, so after Adecyn’s reign, a new Queen must not be closely related to either Marcelline or Adecyn).

As the Queen of the High Enchantressdom, she was chosen by the Crown Council - acting on behalf of the Holy Imperial Crown - to be the leader of the Deanumtine Faith and divine proxy of the 'Covenant.' The Covenant is said to have originated when Raakel, the original proxy, was given the crown by Etherea, the goddess of heaven. Therefore, many citizens regard the Queen as a holy figure that ought to be worshipped and celebrated, although not as revered as a goddess, nor should there be shrines or temples erected to honour Her.

There are strict lese majeste laws, with punishments ranging from 5--10 years in prison. Her portraits are often seen throughout major cities and towns, and national holidays, events, and military crafts are named after Her. Even when writing about Her, it is customary to capitalize pronouns when referring to the Queen, regardless of context.
