This, they are going to take over. The real question is what, if anything, is anyone going to do if they start acting as a base for more terrorist attacks.

They may also turn on each other like it happened before after the soviets withdrew and the communist Najibullah govt imploded and the various mujahedin groups duked it out with each other and destroyed kabul in the process.
