An Official Edict of the Kingdom of Ciarana▪Edict Issued on Monday, April 26th, 2021▪From the Kingdom Ministry of Foreign Affairs
The Kingdom of Ciarana recognizes the international right of all human beings to live free of undue persecution and bondage. The practice of human slavery is an abhorrent and ghastly remnant of the darker elements of our civilization, and have no place in a modern, civilized world. The Swayh Prijani Slave Market represents a fundament travesty of social justice and the desecration of the human right to civil liberties and personal freedom. Therefore, under the authority of the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Ciarana, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Council on International Human Rights has submitted the following proposals in reprisal for the operation of this slave market, and have hitherto adopted the following measures against the above named institution.
1.) The Kingdom of Ciarana hereby issues a formal condemnation of the practice of slavery within Swayh Prijani, and shall issue a formal protest of the continued operation of this slave market through the proper diplomatic channels to your government.
2.) The Kingdom of Ciarana hereby proclaims an economic embargo of any and all agricultural, commercial or industrial manufacturing goods against the Swayh Prijanian government. Any financial holdings or investments of Swayh Prijanian nationals in the Kingdom are hereby frozen until further notice.
3.) The Kingdom of Ciarana does not recognize the legal right to possess human slaves, and hereby refuses to extradite any escaped slaves who arrive on Ciaranish shores. The Kingdom of Ciarana shall offer asylum to any escaped slave seeking refuge.
4.) Any Swayh Prijanian vessel that enters the territorial waters of the Kingdom of Ciarana will be stopped and subjected to a physical search. Any human slaves found aboard shall be removed from the vessel without monetary compensation. Any ships that refuse to submit to a search will be disabled, towed to the nearest Ciaranish port, the vessel forcibly searched and all crewmembers arrested in accordance with Ciaranish law.
5.) Any employee or independent contractor in the employ of the Swayh Prijanian Slave Market are hereby banned from entry into the Kingdom of Ciarana. Any employee or independent contractor present on Ciaranish soil will be subject to summary expulsion from the country and/or subject to arrest in accordance with Ciaranish law.
These sanctions shall remain in place until such time that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs deems it suitable to rescind them, pertinent to the dismantling of the Swayh Prijani Slave Market and the outlaw of the practice of human slavery by the Government of the Swayh Prijanian people.
