Welcome to the first official NationStates Fashion Week! This event, to be held in Monterra, Kalosia, will see the fashion powerhouses of the world come together to showcase the latest fashion trends from across the multiverse.

NationStates Fashion Week, or NSFW for short, is a joint collaboration between the Kalosian Fashion Society and the Kalosian Chamber of Commerce.

This event will be completely safe for work, thank you.

You will be free to roleplay as anyone who is involved in NSFW, including fashion designers, models, journalists reporting on the event, as well as visitors.

The IC format for the first NSFW is as follows: Fashion houses/designers/companies (hereafter "fashion houses") can apply to host a runway show. This runway event will be held at the Monterra International Exhibition Hall. Fashion houses can choose whether their event will showcase only men's fashion, women's fashion, or fashion for all genders. This event is intended to showcase fashion for Autumn/Winter 2021, but with the universality of this event in mind, Spring/Summer 2021 shows may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

As for other characters (models, reporters, visitors, etc), the RP will remain open during the event and you will be free to RP at anytime without my prior approval. Just keep in mind that this is a peacetime event, free of force majeure events (with one exception — pandemic-style social distancing measures will be applied during the event and it is expected that everyone will take the appropriate precautions). Also, I trust that you will be able to communicate with one another — follow common sense and don't godmod.

Desir Fashion

About Desir Fashion
Desir is an international brand based in Elga City, Silvedania. It was founded in 2002 by Zi Phan and originally started out as an early website for finding specific clothes under the title Mannequin. Because variety shopping sites were uncommon then, it's brand was often incorrectly labeled as a fashion house. In order to clear up confusion Desir bought one of it's popular sources, Joyce & Joyce. It then rebranded as Desir and switched to being a straight up fashion house. While making it's majority of sales online, two small shops were opened in 2008. Desir has gained more traction in recent years despite declaring bankruptcy once in 2006. In 2017 Brandon Joyce retired and was replaced with Hari Sheehan.

The style under the team of Joyce and Sheehan drifted more traditional but Desir still stays true to it's original format by creating trendier and more modern clothing. The theme of said clothing varies on the collection. Desir currently has 23 stores internationally.

Details of the show
The show will premiere one new collection based on birds. Clothing from said collection is lighter and looser and will have elements of faux feathers and layered fabric. The show will include acrobatics and ballet type movements. Each piece of clothing will be featured around a certain bird. Some background dancers maybe included. For the stage, an image changing backdrop and runway will do.

All eyes of the Kalosian press were on the Silvedanian fashion house Desir Fashion as they had the honour of opening the inaugural NationStates Fashion Week. Just as the very first Eurovision Song Contest entry, coming from the Netherlands, was a song about the birds of Holland, the very first NS Fashion Week runway event showcased a new collection based on birds, presumably Silvedanian fowl.

This theme went very well with the nice, spring climate that Kalosia is going through at the moment, and was received well by the domestic audience. In fact, there was plenty of interest from Monterrans (that is, residents of Monterra, the host city) that there were minor concerns that the city's social distancing guidelines could be breached. Luckily, security personnel were able to handle the situation peacefully, allowing the event to continue to adhere to public health guidelines.

About Household Liyu
Five centuries ago, the colony of Parfuhmerie, under the economic and diplomatic prowess of Head of Economics Sekka Verndara, saw a stratospheric rise of its influence from Sekka's famed voyages throughout the Region, prompting in turn the creation of hundreds of new businesses, all intending to invest and trade in the vast Thryllasian networks. One such business was the Household Liyu, a small fashion household inspired by the tales of returning merchants and traders. Recognizing the vast interest within these foreign fashions, the three sisters decided to take advantage of it, and began developing clothing lines based on both them and native Parfuhmerian fashion. Much to their delight, their knowledge of Parfuhmerian demands, combined with their tireless innovative spirit, enabled them to create outfits suitable for the city's fast lifestyle, while still managing to retain the cultures they took inspiration from.

Thus, Household Liyu managed to increase already-high interests in the Thryllasian Region, as their fashion's merging styles very much represented the economic potential held within the area. With rising demand for new fashions came new investors and new expansions, particularly into the city-state/colony of Renstar. Naturally, this fortune soon drew the interest of Sekka Verndara. Well aware of their power, Sekka offered his support in managing the company in exchange for some of the profits; from there, he soon integrated his doctrine of altruism into Household Liyu's structure by increasing worker benefits and investing his wealth into Steissan manufactories and Thryllasian resource plantations. With the company now in perfect shape, his publicity teams advertised the moral benefits of Household Liyu — no sweatshops, and always aiming to give back to the community, as the Verndara way decreed.

Thus, in the span of a few years, Household Liyu's fashion became a sort of advertisement of the Thryllasian Region to other areas, as a place of opportunity and intermixed cultures, as a place where hard work would always be rewarded. While the company briefly declined due to a certain drama involving one of the sisters and her marriage, Household Liyu is today one of the largest clothing brands in Parfuhmerie and has expanded into nearly all facets of the city's fashion, although its ties with Sekka Verndara's company has always meant that it has a clear edge over its competitors. Nonetheless, such close proximity means that they are most susceptible to the company's strict meritocratic systems.

Details of the show
The show will predominantly focus on a mix of various Thryllasian cultures mixed with Parfuhmerian fashion, as the fashion house has always done. Consequently, the runway will focus on outfits suited for the Parfuhmerian lifestyle and work, ranging from the aesthetic needs or debauchery of the luxury hotels of Imperial Saveur to, if possible, the day-to-day life and comfort of average citizens in Parfuhmerie, though rest assured that these outfits will not be too intense for the forums. While the latter fashions may not be the high-end luxuries sought after by this fashion thread, it is nonetheless an essential facet of Household Liyu and Parfuhmerie's fashion, and Household Liyu will try to show it off if it will not cost them too much reputation in the show. That said, the tropical climate of the city means that its clothing is ill-matched for the standard four-season setup, and that most outfits will likely appear to be more in-line with spring/summer, as befitting of the Region's usual temperament.

About Agung & Arya Fashion
The two met in 1979 when both of them working in the same textile company. Knowing that they have the same passion in design, they started to work together. In 1983, they opened their tailor shop in Alangkajeng and create made to wear design which focusing on female clients. Most of their design are using local fabrics and pattern which closely related to the local clients. They started designing for male clothing in 1985 which broaden their clients. But their traditional design can't approached wider market.

A year later, they presented their collection in Ubung Fashion Week. The modernized design of traditional clothing was very attractive but the sale were not very good. But they didn't give up. They eventually established their company in late 1986 in coincidence with their new year collection debut. In 1989, they moved their office to Tonja, near the fashion center, Ubung. From this place their company started to grow.

Designing made to wear clothes are time consuming but the customer also very low. Arya decided to create a new brand for ready to wear clothing which is more approachable to wider customer. Agung gives the authority for the new brand to Arya while he still focus on made to wear couture design. Their first retail store was opened in 1994. The store have both ready to wear and made to wear sections. A year later, they introduce their handbag collection which met with a positive feedback.

From that year they have opened several branches across the nation until the financial crisis struck in 1997-1998. The sale drop significant. They have to close some of their store to cover the loss. In 2002, A&A Fashion signed a capital injection by Maia Group. The moved make A&A Fashion a subsidiary of Maia Group. They recover back in 2004 when the sales begun to grow. They opened again their closed store afterwards.

In 2010, A&A Fashion introduce their new brand. This time they try a different products, perfume. Aria EDT was launched and the feedback are very good. Their perfume line now have both female and male sections.

Today, A&A Fashion has 21 stores across the nation.

Details of the show
The show will be divided into 2 segment. The first segment is A&A Haute Couture. This segment will features female and male clothing line of the first brand of the fashion house. This includes formal and semi formal outfits which derived from the best made to wear design of Agung & Arya Fashion House collections. The clothes will use local fabrics such as batik, songket, endek and brokat with the combination of regular fabrics such as cotton, linen, polyester, etc. The second segment is A2 ready to wear clothing line. This segment features female and male clothing line which resemble a more casual design. The clothes includes the use of jeans, knitting fabrics, cotton combed, 32S, etc. For this runway show, Nyoman Arya Sumarjaya as the head designer of A2 clothing line, exclusively make a summer wear clothing including beach wear.

Agung & Arya Shine at Monterra

Monterra, Kalosia - The 1st NationStates Fashion Week that is held in Monterra, Kalosia has drawn the attention of fashion designers all over the multiverse especially in Pemecutan. As one of the fashion center in Melayu Archipelago region, Pemecutan is eagerly to participate. The well-known fashion house in the country, Agung & Arya is there to represent Pemecutan and also the region as a whole. With more than 20 years of experience, the fashion house is an asset fr the country which can show the innternational community of how the fashion industry is really going on in Pemecutan and Melayu Archipelago.

Female Formal Dress from the First Segment of Agung & Arya Runway Show at 1st NationStates Fashion Week

Getting the schedule on 21st April, both designers are having their time for their ultimate show. Their runway show is divided into 2 segment. The first is the haute couture segment in which they are displaying the most significant design which are created mostly by Agung Patrayasa. These designs are wholly made to wear. The designs mostly consist of formal dress and cocktail dress for female. While the men's fashion focused on formal wear. Most of the fabrics use are traditional ones such as embroidery, batik, songket and else. This is also to introduce Pemecutan traditional fabrics into international stage. Most of the designs are made by Agung Patrayasa especially after the establishment of their second brand. Agung is still getting help from young designers under their fashion house.

Male Casual Wear at the Second Segment of Agung & Arya Runway Show

In the second segment, a more casual wear are introduce. This is the second brand of Agung & Arya Fashion House which is coordinated by Nyoman Arya Sumarjaya. Arya is the one most of design with the help of Agung and also some other designers under their fashion house. The design of this brand are more complex as it is catch a wider customer. Their ready to wear status is also makes this brand have to develop new designs for a period of time to cater the change in fashion trends. In some cases, Arya and his team are also introducing new designs based on their own idea without taking the trend too much.

In the end, the show is getting a huge response from the audience. Giving the show nature which showing the traditional and ethnic value of their native country (read Pemecutan), making the show is memorable for the one who watch the show. The positive response also makes both designers feels welcome and being proud that their aimed to introduce Pemecutan design and fabrics to a wider community have been quite successful.

Based in Changchun, Jilin Province, this Ramadhan Family subsidiary specializes in fashion for vampires, due to the higher concentration of vampires in the area and the height-induced difficulty in shopping for clothing experienced by said members of the population, which is saying something because even the average height for humans is above-average compared to eastern humans irl. As it's name suggests, a lot of Tuxedo Cat's products are suits or otherwise monochromatic as worn in these videos.

Established by Head Secretary Jamie and an agglomeration of some of the most prominent fashion figures and celebrities of Valentine Z, alongside common men and businessmen alike, The Orange Paw seeks to redefine the fashion trend of Valentine Z not by designing and putting up the most outlandish outfits with questionable animal ethics*, but rather to make every kind of outfits and dresses unbounded by social status, race, and any other demographic barriers. Alongside Valentine Z's inclusive attitude on almost everything imaginable, The Orange Paw defies the norms and lets people express themselves as they see fit, as well as proving that 16 feet tall (on average) Valentians can still flaunt their fabulousness.

* That is, The Orange Paw does not use animal products.

The show will involve quite a handful of the prominent characters of Valentine Z. The range of outfits also varies A LOT, from normal everyday causal wear that a few models will present (such as Clarissa's evening dress), to a full-on Valkyrie Armor that Valentijn is fond of wearing. About Leo Valentini
Leo Valentini is one of Kalosia’s most prestigious fashion brands. Established in 1978, its eponymous founder Leo Valentini sought to become the face of Kalosian haute couture. And with his brand, he managed to do so. Although he is now in his late 60s, Valentini is still in charge and is ambitious as ever in promoting the Kalosian fashion industry.

Details of the show
For the final event of the first ever NS Fashion Week, the show is intended to be classy and will showcase the fashion house's Spring/Summer 2021 line, particularly with an emphasis on smart casual and semi-formal wear. Think back-to-office looks and evening ball fashion. Valentini chose to emphasize these in hopes that they will fill a demand that will soon exist as Kalosians return to their offices and work spaces following the successful proliferation of the vaccine in the country.

(OOC: I have been busy all week so only now have I had time to do this, apologies! Also, this isn't specifically intended as a closing post so feel free to continue to post your RPs anyway.)

After 7 days of runway events, the first official NSFW has come to an end. While NationStates Fashion Week hoped to disrupt the global fashion scene, despite its ambitious goals it attracted a rather modest showing.

Of course, one of the reasons behind this was due to the temporary travel policies implemented by the government of Kalosia, which became a barrier for spectators from across the multiverse to come. Of course, we still had important figures from the fashion industry in attendance, particularly from the countries represented by participating fashion houses. But a good amount of interest surrounding the event came from inside Kalosia, which means the event's marketing team can do a little more to create buzz internationally.

Additionally, the event was put together at relatively short notice in order to fit into the schedule of the fashion industry — it was either now or much, much later in the year. Surely the organizers could benefit from having much more time to prepare — perhaps then they'd be able to secure deals with more fashion houses and achieve the targeted 3 runway shows per day.

In all, NSFW wasn't a waste of time. However, it is uncertain yet whether this event can be sustainable in the long run, or if it will even return next year. Could our 1st Official NSFW be the only official NSFW? Only time will tell.

[Shwe Tu Colony]

The Show
First up among the Parfuhmerians was a brunette woman in a black cocktail dress that glimmered and shined like the depths of a dark vodka in the fashion show lights. The otherwise plain pattern was only interrupted by grey swirls, spirals, and whorls that all flowed out from her breast to each corner of her torso; they were A'yuh-lein sigils. Meaningless, perhaps, but even at a glance, there was a sort of perfect mathematical component to them: a deeper look would reveal a distinctive golden spiral. Whatever the case, each center sparkled with a dot of red, as though the dress itself were hinting at a more passionate part of itself, hidden away in the depths of darkness that draped to the woman's knees, at which point the fabric flowed up and down a few inches at most. Her shoes were simple black platform shoes; it was clear that the Household Liyu owners' hatred of high heels certainly extended to their designs.

Meanwhile, the upper part of the dress's main fabric ended just above her collarbone; above that and around her neck, the spiraling patterns exuded out from her neck, and similar tattoos adorned her throat. The sleeves that extended out to just above her elbows, likewise, consisted of fabric-designs lightly covering her arms, rather than a continuous piece of fabric.
Taken all together, the woman seemed a dark, sensual presence, like a temptress in the night offering a dream of euphoria if only one might take her hand. Her clothes, dark as they were, befitted the nightlife of Parfuhmerie: in the hazy host and hostess rooms in the back, the dress would no doubt fade into the low lighting, so that one's eyes would be drawn only to the ruby-red or the woman in front of oneself. Yet, in the casinos out front, in the hazy fiery lighting and chaos-colors of Parfuhmerian architecture and design, it would mark her out clearly, whether for prospective customers or managers.

On the sides, Korthu sipped from her chalice. It was one of the newer dresses she had commissioned from Liyu. "Talk to Treeshrew Gang," she had told them, "and find their most iconic black cocktail. That's what I want for this new one." Abstract, yes, but Korthu and Liyu alike were used to describing such nonsense. It worked, anyway: the cocktail in question was one that Treeshrew described as "always pulling one's soul in for another, another, another," and Korthu certainly agreed when she tried it. First there were the red sparkles that popped here and there in the drink itself. Then came the succubal aroma, sweet and enchanting. Finally, the taste was crisp and smooth, with a hint of the Parfuhmerian heat that numbed one's mouth to all but the drink itself.
Hopefully that was clear enough in the dress itself. It was an old habit of hers: pick a drink, get a design for it, use that accordingly.

As the woman departed, a man with black hair strutted onto the runway in some three layers on his upper body: a silky-smooth shirt inside, covered by a low button-up vest, in turn covered by an unbuttoned light jacket. A striped purple tie was clipped inside the first of the three, and slid down into the vest, whose buttons were a subtle violet. For the jacket, a breast pocket held a small purple handkerchief, while the interior collars flapped outward, bound together by a singular wine-colored lanyard, upon which hung an emblem with the leaping succubus of Ur-Heiru, the base of Imperial Saveur, although her usual font of fire was replaced by a single iridescent pearl.

Further up, the shoulders had a pair of indigo lines running down them, which connected towards a small circle, like a pool of Parfuhmerian miasma had gathered there. Meanwhile, just barely visible in the dark fabric of the pants above his shins were patterns resembling the waves; footwear consisted merely of black shoes.
All in all, it was an outfit for a much more professional, managerial position in Korthu's resorts, someone who could resolve the accusations of rigged games, sweet-talk tourists into enjoying their time, and dissuade foreign pursuers if there were rumors of bad business. It was not an outfit for someone whose services were to be bought or whose loyalty was cheap.

It was based less directly on any sort of drink, and it was more so based on a mix of Renstar's nice and orderly artisans, plus the regal suits that she had commissioned for her younger brother and his squadron. Of course, she could think of drinks associated with them if she wanted; her brother, Ca-li'at, was definitely a spicy, stable gin. But still, their suits had been for their inevitable prom, not that it looked bad for a potential work outfit... although, now that she thought about it, prom would be in two years, meaning she would've met her younger brother some six years ago? Eight? Ten?
She sipped from her chalice again as she watched the Parfuhmerian model stride about with absolute confidence of his actions, trying to distract from that fact that, well, she really was getting old, but that would have to be a concern for another day.
Today was a fabulous night.

Third came a fashion that wasn't hers. As expected of the Parfuhmerian style — or workaholism, depending on who one asked — there was always a need for every fashion statement to be backed up by legitimate usage. Thus dressed the man on stage, his clothes of a much more rugged style, but there was a clear intent to make it at least a little fashionable. For one, there were the murky-brown stripes on the shawl around his neck, just above the light, near-translucent dark green jacket that followed behind him, as though a cloak of leaves in the Parfuhmerian night. Underneath it was a much simpler khaki-brown dress shirt, although there was a single Parfuhmerian lotus clipped to the breast. His pants were a simple khaki brown, while his boots were a shiny black and went up to his knees, although there were a few winding streams of vine patterns upon them.

A few multicolored feathers, and other odds-and-ends for hunting, hung around his belt, while his brown gloves had a single arrow pointing out of them, identifying him as one of the higher-ranked hunters.
It wasn't exactly the proper attire of one such individual, but that sort of raw efficiency probably wouldn't look any good for this sort of setting. Or any, really, except for those who knew what it was like to hunt in the Parfuhmerian woods, among the trees, in the poisoned puddles, where the wrong step for a foreigner would land them in the hospital. Even on stage, strutting his stuff to show off every contour, detail, curve of fabric, there was that deliberate hunter-presence in every lithe step and motion.
Korthu smiled as she sipped from her chalice. Victory or not, this would be a first for Household Liyu — and, hopefully, Imperial Saveur.

[Valentine Z]

Post 1 – The Orange Paw's Debut.

The Valentians took their turns and queued up, prepared for the catwalk that awaits in front of them. Quite a handful of the Sixty were able to make it, whilst the others took up more administrative duties of the event, or not even there at all because they were busy with something else. Either way, most of the Valentians were there, and it was time for show their unusual array and taste of their fashion statements. One by one, they will be walking to the end, turn around, then go back inside. Most of them only has one outfits, but a few of them would be sporting two, so they would change in the matter of seconds thanks to Gwen helping to warp time.

"Well, let's get ready for it! Let's show the world about our little trivia!"

The very first reaction from the crowd would be how tall the Valentians were. They have tried their best and used various magic and technology in order to shrink them to 16 feet on average. They could shrink further, but they still wanted to show off their appearances a little bit, and they were certain that being this tall would at least give them quite a presence.

First and foremost is Valentijn herself, who has recently been magically (seriously) turned into a woman. She took it and embraced it in stride for the time being, not wanting to change back and instead dressed up to the best of her abilities. First and foremost, we have her casual outfit, a blue and light blue blouse with a navy blue skirt below. Valentijn was also rocking her favorite hairstyle, walking in style and posing for the cameras all around her. She gave a little wink and a smile, then turned back and disappeared behind the curtains for a few seconds... only to come back in her special Valkyrie Armor. The announcer was describing about the purpose of it, which was to provide Valentijn with the obvious protection, as well as to shield the radiation away to the people around her. The helmet was missing in this variant, with Valentijn opting for the Valkyrie headband that does the same purpose in warding off radiation.

Next up, we have Anastasia, who was supposed to be the genderbent version of Valentijn. That is, when Valentijn was originally a man, Anastasia was the woman version of him from another completely different world. She too was also obsessed with everything Valkyrie-related, but would wear a rather set of odd outfits. First and foremost, we have the semi-sports outfit with the skirt and her usual Valkyrie headband, perhaps showing off her muscles a little bit. She said that the weather does not affect her as much, and as a result, wearing this would not give her hypothermia in case of cold conditions. She went back behind the curtains, quickly changing into her usual set of armor - the one that she said that she came into the world of Valentine Z with. Short skirt, frontal breastplate, long leg armor, all custom-fit and accommodates her height.

Next up is the proclaimed Fate of Existence and Omniverse, in her usual "Tracer" outfit from that video game that most of the audience might have heard about. She too was not a resident of Valentine Z's universe, coming from another world and in turn, falling into a black hole that actually gave her powers over everyone's Fate. Don't try it yourself, she said, because for you, it might be a messy death into Event Horizon. Anyway, in her Tracer Spitfire outfit, complete with her chronal accelerator and controller, Gwen winked and smiled at the cameras, like what Valentijn and Anastasia did before. She came back out with another set of clothing, this one with the Union Jack to represent the country that she was born in.

With her blue skin, you would have thought that she is from that movie, or a cartoon show. However, Clarissa is neither of that. Instead, Clarissa is a top-of-the-line robot, who in turn is a wife of Valentijn in perhaps the first human-robot marriage, except with a robot that actually is sapient and proper. Her first outfit is her evening dress, complementing her cyan body with that blue dress, on top of the black hair to boot. Coming back for the second round, she showed off her other blue dress, which more or less gives her the same color, but for the more formal settings. Clarissa also don orange hair originally but for the time being, she has decided not to bring it to the show.

Then comes Clarissa's little sister, at least by age and the years they were made and designed. Adriana is definitely the more toned and muscular of the two, fulfilling her role as a tank and front shock trooper when the going gets tough, as well as the main backup system of many of Valentine Z's systems. She usually sports her plain white T-shirt with grey accents, along with quite a long length of hair to boot.

As the sound of metal clangs along the catwalk, Marcus appears in his exoskeleton of an armor, consisting of a colony of sapient worms that he controls with his own mind. Marcus, along with his armor, stands imposing at 10 meters tall, but for the purpose of this show, he was shrunk down to 4 meters, and to ensure that the sheer weight of the armor and his fashion do not collapse the catwalk itself. Would have been a fashion disaster otherwise. Cameraman and audience are advised to move back a little, lest the spikes do a number on them.

To suit her dual nature of things, Jolyn often likes to sport two sets of uniforms - a formal wear with a black suit and white undershirt for her days as the Head of Ministry of Education and a teacher, and her spy outfit with dual pistols (prop weapons for the purpose of this show) that lets her have some manipulation of time, as well as the various devices and gadgets that might suit her. Spying and Intelligence doesn't always involve snowmobile chases, after all.

And then out comes the very designer of the trend of Valentian fashion, Jamie sports her simple yet elegant blue dress with a light blue hairband. Reminiscent of the days of old and of the 20th Century movies and TV shows that she saw quite often, she was, in particular, attracted by the looks of a certain actor from Belgium, and thus would try her best to look the part.

Mandy also comes out in her simple yet elegant dress, but this time in black. She walked out, letting down her long blonde hair, and giving the audience a few winks and inoffensive poses to the camera. "Vive la Valentine Z, as they would say!"

Perhaps one of the oldest Valentians both in terms of appearance and from the sheer birth year, Chief Senator Annette still has her beauty and looks with her white jury gown, the one that she often wears for her courtly duties, and as an everyday dress. She sports a slightly more brownish hair than Mandy, the previous Valentian that went back in.

Her formal attire comes with the set of nodes, antennas, receivers, and transmitters, Jenny basically has the cybernetic enhancements that she can wear and take off like an exoskeleton. For the Valentians, it is actually not very common for them to have permanent enhancements, unless the body needs it for medical reasons. Waving her hands around and doing a small light show of her own, she welcomes the audience in Japanese, then bowing down respectfully before going back behind the curtains.

Jenny's light show was followed by another one, as Germaine walked out with a staff in her hand, donning her soft armor plating that she uses for her usual medical expeditions and tours as a Doctor Without Borders. She twirled around with the staff, making sure to not clumsily drop it, before slamming it gently down on the catwalk, her wings projecting and extending small lights.

If it wasn't for her own words, one could confuse Charlene as a photographer who got lost on the catwalk as she was trying to take pictures of the Valentian models. However, she was also walking and making poses just like the rest, showing off her usual casual attire that she would wear as a journalist, reporter, photographer. She did it all, owing to her height that gives her an advantage to wield TV-grade cameras like they are nothing.

Being in for some tropical mood is not all that uncommon and out of style for the Valentians, which is why Tiffany can be seen here wearing her summer best - a primarily purple pants and top underwear, with white and soft purple shirt on top to complement the color scheme. Summer and Beaches have always been a staple for the Valentians in tropical areas, after all.

After all, you too can look good while running!

For him, being casual and light is more than rewarding, with the deceptively plain T-shirt infused with small pockets of non-toxic coolant that allows him to stay cool in the hottest of weathers or in the battlefield.

Dressed sharply to kill, perhaps not literally. He does a few poses of his own, while giving a bit of a sigh, owing to his body slowly building up the heat. Maybe the AC was not as cold as he thought.

Waving at the crowd with all the energy that she has, along with her smile that some would find to a bit unusual, Angela touched a small section of her majestically red hair as she strutted back into the curtains.

Coming out right after her daily workout, Tracie is first seen with her usual outfit, an undersuit that she wears before donning her metallic armor (which she would wear and show after the first walk). Tracie could get a little hot-headed at times, especially after such an aggressive workout routine, but deep down, she has the heart of a Valentian like many others, and will soften up for a friend or two. Her metallic armor, having been recently used in a mission, has shown actual scars and scratches from the battles, but still withstanding and protecting the user that is one Tracie Valentina Hyvärinen Lindholm Heinon.

While he tries his best to avoid the stereotypes that would be attached with his country of birth and nationality, Augustine would not hold back in making himself presentable and known with his usual navy blue suit and khaki pants, with the former owing to the fact that he indeed currently serves in the Valentian Navy. Slick hair, clean-shave, and a few poses to match, Augustine motioned to the audience with a few finger guns before making his way back into the curtains.

All of a sudden, the music in the studio was cut off to play an all-around heart-pounding heavy metal track. The lights also turn red, though not in parts because of a demonic invasion; it was simply a scripted lighting scene. Jacob walked slowly and heavily onto the end of the catwalk, his olive green armor and his stature suddenly commanding the entire room to pay the utmost attention to him. He nodded quietly, perhaps trying to ease the normal tension that he would bring about with him. He gave a quick wave to the audience, then without any other pose, simply standing there to make sure they get a good look of his armor, he walked back inside.

With the music and lights going back to normal, one could hear a small personal jetpack going off behind the curtains. It would be none other than Chloe, donning her Egyptian-themed armor and hovering above the ground with controlled bursts on her flight suit. She did a few stunts here and there on the catwalk itself, making sure to impress as much as she could whilst not overstaying with the stunts. Bowing to the audience, she slowly flew back into the curtains.

For the second last display of armors, we have the traditional-loving (and we mean that in a positive way) L. Cpl. Duruljiayiji, a Mongolian from Valentine Z, with his heavy set of armor as if he was going for battle. The not very clean-shaved but presentable look complements the overall look, the Valentians believe that it is normal and in-fact paramount for the people under the territories to continue practicing their culture, tradition, and the like, just so long as it does not cross out of the borders of niceness, compassion, and inclusiveness. "Thank you all for attending," he nodded, bowed and walking back.

The last armor and suit line-up would be none other than Klarke, a Bosnian biologist from the days of old that would make saving lives his utmost priority. Alongside Germaine that we have seen above, he also has a fair share of expedition and tour in the fields, but tasked himself to go into more hazardous areas. Perhaps for a good part of pre-Valentian history, this suit and outfit has been all the rage, simply out of necessity to combat the CBRN hazards. Nowadays, these suits still stand with upgraded systems to take on the challenges of Valentine Z's scientific pursuits. While they might not have people wearing them every day outside of their work, a few of them, such as Klarke, would take pride in wearing it.

After all the fanfare and finesse, the Valentians went back to a sense of normality, at least as normal as they could get for them. This would be first seen again with 3rd Lt. Leonard in his usual mercenary outfit, a tank top with somewhat baggy khaki pants, along with a cap and a prop rifle to show it off. "Beat the heat, and to defend the world of Valentine Z," the announcer said, as he simply nods in approval and walks back into the curtains.

A Valentian fashion show simply is not complete without the presence of someone such as Jamie. Her red jacket, black pants, and that iconic hairstyle, of course, with the hairstyle being already shown off previously by Valentijn. It is the trademark of many Valentian men and women alike, transcending gender.

With that said, the Valentian Fashion Segment has come to an end. The Orange Paw, Valentine Z, and every other people who are here or not here, would like to thank the organisers for giving us such an opportunity, and for letting the Valentians show off their diverse and bizarre array of fashion. Whilst we indeed would like to show more traditional outfits, time was unfortunately not on our side and hence would see ourselves showing the usual everyday wear.
