Why is the Issue interval so god damn LONG

I just started playing recently and the intervals between new issues is so long and gets longer with every issue???/ Like I'm trying to get into the whole gist of things but I have to wait over five hours for ONE issue? At this point I'm waiting a whole day to do one thing in this game. Like why? I am so bored.

Because if you had rapid-fire Issues then you'd burn through them all in no time at all.

There are lots of other things to do on NS besides Issues though, such as getting involved in your region, getting involved on the forums by taking part in roleplay or RL discussions on NSGeneral, etc.

Take a step back and realize this isn't so much a play-for-several-hours game as it is a check-back-a-few-times-per-day game. I'd also recommend joining your regional discord because you'll have a lot more fun there.

Obligatory 'it used to be every 12 hours and there were only 31 issues when I started' post.

4 issues a day seems like a good pace for the moment. You never qualify for every issue (usually it floats around 40-60% for the overwhelming majority of nations I think), so at 4 issues a day you could burn through your available issues in less than a year.
