The Animal Rescue Fund (ARF) is an imperial charity in Jeltronia founded by the Emperor on 05 March 2021 to support animal shelters, animal advocacy and protection organizations, volunteers and public and private organizations. The fun was envisioned to provide resources to enable advocates and volunteers to fight for animal welfare and rights and rescue animals from cruelty, exploitation and emergency situations. The ARF also acts as a network of likeminded persons and groups for collaborative projects and capacity-building activities.

The ARF is headquartered in Bascav, the capital of Jeltronia. The ARF is overseen by a fifteen member board of trustees appointed by the Emperor. The fund and the organization is managed by a full time Director, currently Ms. Mary Sherbrooke. Ms. Sherbrooke was formerly Deputy Minister for International Development and in that capacity led the royal government's official development assistance programs. Under her are the deputy directors for operations and for funding and several assistant directors. Countries and territories each have a regional head, with the rank of assistant director.

In the heart of Jeltronia, a beacon of compassion continues to shine bright, casting its glow on the lives of the voiceless and vulnerable. Established more than three years ago upon the initiative and financial generosity of the benevolent Emperor Josh, the Animal Rescue Fund (ARF) supports animal shelters, animal advocacy and protection organizations, volunteers and public and private organizations. The fund and the foundation taking charge were envisioned to provide resources and technical support to enable advocates and volunteers to fight for animal welfare and rights and rescue animals from cruelty, exploitation and emergency situations.

Over the course of three years, the organization successfully rescued and rehabilitated a staggering 225,000 animals. From the initial 50,000 rescues in the first year to a remarkable 100,000 in the third, ARF's impact has grown exponentially, showcasing the organization's commitment to making a tangible difference in the lives of animals across country and the wider Empire.

ARF's rescue initiatives are nothing short of heroic. From the dark depths of cruelty to the chaotic aftermath of emergency situations, ARF stands as a beacon of hope. The organization's swift response teams, in collaboration with volunteers and like-minded groups, have saved countless lives, offering a second chance to those who would otherwise be forgotten.

The Fund has also leveraged its resources and imperial connections to influence public policy. In fact, ARF's advocacy efforts have been a driving force in shaping public perception and influencing policy changes. With strategic campaigns and collaborative initiatives, the fund has raised awareness about animal welfare and rights, reaching millions of individuals. The organization's commitment to legislative changes has resulted in significant improvements in the legal framework for animal protection. Some major achievements include raising prison sentences for people convicted of abusing their pets extended to up to 18 months, and 24 months if the animal should die. The killing of pets except for euthanasia by vets has also be criminalized. Other ongoing campaigns include calling on the permanent closure of zoos and dolphinariums and turning them into wildlife recovery centres.

At the heart of ARF's strategy lies a dedication to providing resources for advocates and volunteers, empowering them to be formidable forces for animal welfare and rights. In March 2024, the Fund unveiled a new logo symbolizing a fresh chapter in its commitment to animal welfare. The redesigned logo seamlessly blends elements of compassion, resilience, and progress, and reflects the Fund's core mission to safeguard animals. The rebranding is part of a bigger effort by the Fund to expand to other countries and regions and establish a global footprint in the pursuit of animal welfare. With the unveiling of the new logo, ARF signals its intent to transcend borders and extend its reach to areas where animals face unique challenges.

The expansion effort underscores ARF's commitment to collaborating with international partners, governmental bodies, and local organizations to address the global challenges faced by animals. By extending its reach to new countries and regions, the Fund aspires to create a ripple effect of positive change, leaving an enduring legacy in the global landscape of animal welfare.
