Which countries YN's people travel most often?

Postby Polish PR » Sat Feb 27, 2021 5:52 pm

In Polish People's Republic, it's hard to get permission for foreign travelling. But it depends where you want to travel.

The most visited countries by Poles (by continent):

Europe:
- Bulgaria
- Yugoslavia
- Greece

Africa:
- Egypt
- Zaire
- Tunisia

Asia:
- Korea
- India
- Vietnam

Americas:
- Cuba
- Jamaica
- Chile
Our nation is Poland, but there was a great Nazbol revolution, which overthrew the PZPR and freed Poland from USSR, in 1993. The Iron Curtain still exists, but it has changed its borders.
Civilization's class: 1.4 (according to this index)
My nation doesn't represent my RL views. It has been created for artistic purposes and is not intended to promote anything.

The four most popular tourist destinations for Countesian citizens abroad are the nations of Lorrana, Silvedania, Arklandia and the United States of Ibica. Their popularity as holiday destinations stem from to Countesias foreign policy of visa-free travel between these countries with the exception of Silvedania.

The bottom 40% can't afford to travel, and the rest are forbiden to travel anywhere else but northern Europe, as many have premarital-sex while traveling, according to a Gallup poll in January. It's to reduce the risk of miscegination, as race-mixing is communism and is the fall of western civilisation.

Quartia and Karafuto has a large, fairly wealthy population, so it's no surprise that they make up a significant share of tourists around the world. Apart from neighboring countries, Quartians mostly visit warm countries to get away from the cold climate of the homeland.
Top 10 destinations:
- Japan
- Mon-Khmer PR [incl. Cambodia and Phuket]
- Pangasinan Republic [incl. Philippines and Taiwan]
- China
- Vietnam
- France
- Papua [incl. North Maluku and Maluku]
- USA
- Sunda [incl. West and East Nusa Tenggara]
- Greece

My nation - which is pretty much just a unified Korea with some extra territory - represents my real views, as does pretty much anything I say on the forums. NS stats only broadly representative. Feel free to call me Q&K or Quartia. Member of LITA

Destynic citizens don't travel out of the country often. Travel to the Middle East and Native-Africa are entirely restricted due to the high risk of danger.

The most popular places are of course those within the territory of the European Earth & Space Alliance.
Ranked from most popular to travel to least:

1. Scotika (Formerly Scotland)
2. Italy
3. Switzi (Formerly Switzerland)
4. Ireland

As for non allied nations, they are ranked from most popular to least:

5. Higashiajia (Formerly Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, and the Philippines)
6. Novyy Russ (Formerly Russia)
7. United Kingdom
8. Boisland (Formerly Canada)
9. Slovakia
10. Czechia

Ru itself is known as one of the world's top tourist destinations, therefore it's fairly common for Ruvians to choose to travel to other parts of their own country for their vacations. However, many also do vacation abroad, and the top 10 most favored tourist destinations are the following:

1. Japan
2. France
3. The United States
4. Italy
5. The Free Lands (Selkie)
6. The United Kingdom
7. Turkey
8. China
9. Thailand
10. Mexico

Ruvians are generally attracted to the world's culinary capitals, first and foremost. They also have a strong appreciation for countries with unique cultures, long and rich histories, glitzy resorts, and with a reputation for being safe, clean, and having polite and friendly locals. The politics of the nation tends to not matter at all, unless it is a nation that has proven particularly hostile to Ru or they have some reason to feel like the situation would make it unsafe.

A civilization with an over 3,000 year history of lizard people killing each other and enslaving everyone else. Now they've finally calmed down and formed a modern westernized constitutional monarchy. (long live Emperor Yoshio!)

Note: Any factbook entries over a year old are severely out of date and may be subject to extreme revision and retconning soon. If you have questions on anything about Ru, please feel free to ask.

South Appalachia is a young nation, and so many of it's citizens have been to or perhaps even lived briefly in other North American nations before the break up of the USA.

Today, the most visited nation in North America, as well as the entire world, by Appalachians is their neighbour to the west, the Republic of Texas. The two nations are extremely close with each other and a lot of Appalachians take vacations in Texas and vice-versa. Appalachians also enjoy vacations to the USSA associated territory of Florida, which is not quite independent but also not a state of the USSA.

The most commonly visited Central and South American nations are Mexico and Puerto Rico.

Europe is a very popular tourist destination for Appalachians, the women long for romantic getaways in Paris or Venice, making France and Italy popular destinations. Ireland and the UK get many visits from Appalachians who feel kinship with their ancestral homelands.

Africa isn't the top of most Appalachians bucket lists, it is stereotyped as a backwards continent here, with exception of northern nations like Egypt and Morocco. South Africa is still under apartheid.

In Asia, Japan and Thailand are popular destinations, and in Oceania, the nation of Hawai'i.

The top 5 travel destinations for South Appalachians are as followed, counting down to the most visited nation:

5. Mexico
4. UK
3. Italy
2. France
1. Texas
Political compass:
Economic Left/Right: 5.0
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -3.23
