How do I sign up?
To register for your country's participation in the tournament, just post in this topic saying something along the lines of "I sign up." and include the name of your entrant(s).
Each nation is allowed up to two players, and a separate RP bonus will be given to each of them separately.

When will the tournament start?
If the prerequisite amount of signups, and one that can accommodate a group format is reached, the tournament will begin on the 5st of February, with the draw on the 1st of February. This could be delayed, or brought forward, depending on signups again. The RP/Scores thread will be created the day before the draw.

How, and when, will games be scorinated?
1 game will be scorinated every 24 hours, and a spreadsheet will be used. Because of a lack of uniform chess rankings, randomness, points so far in the tournament, Roleplaying Bonus, and style will all be used to calculate the end result.

Where will the tournament be held?
Every game in this tournament will be held in Garvida, capital city of Garbelia. In chess, it is common practice to name tournaments after the cities they are played in.

What will be the format?
Depending on signups, this could change, however the current target is 4 groups of 6, in a round-robin, and then the top two playing a quarter-final, semi-final and final, with teams earning 1 point for a win, ½ a point for a draw, and no points for a loss.

Roster information:
Your roster should contain your entrant's name. It should also contain your player's playing style, as a number from +3 to -3, if you do not include this, your player will be referred to as 'Unknown' and your style modifier will be automatically set to 0. It would be preferable if you showed what your opponent could do in an RP. (time left on clock, pieces lost, pieces won) If you do not have a roster in before the second match, a 10% penalty will be applied. Your roster will also be graded as an RP, so the more information the better!
