Does your country operate a high-speed rail system?

Postby Erisoria » Sun Jan 17, 2021 10:24 pm

A high-speed rail system is considered as such if trains run above 200 km/h (or about 124 mph) in at least one section of the track.

Erisoria operates the "Erisorian National Transport Endeavor Railway System", or ENTERS for short, whose trains run an average speed of 220 km/h (136 mph) and a maximum of 300 km/h (186 mph).

The state railway company, Lyria, operates the Brightline high speed railway system (from the Mahêalani word Kanāpatéré, which means 'light and fast')

The primary lines between Forsinard, New Hereford and Woodleigh operate at up to 500km/h (310mph), while the newer and more rugged lines linking Port Ellerslie and Ruddhampton operate at a maximum speed of 380km/h (236mph)

Australia possesses a robust and cutting-edge high-speed national rail network, through which the majority of both metropolitan and interstate passengers and cargo travel. This is thanks to, in large parts, Australia's heavy investment into rail technology and cooperation with other industry leaders, such as Britain and Japan.

Ultra-fast arterial rail lines connect the nation's state and territory capitals to one another, excepting those that are island-bound, of course. Along these lines, especially along straight and isolated stretches of track such as those across the Nullarbor Plain in Western Australia, express trains are able to travel at speeds faster than the average passenger aircraft, thus being the fastest method of travel between state capitals available in addition to the most efficient, sustainable, and affordable.

In addition to these arterial lines, auxiliary rural networks exist in each state and territory that operate concurrently, offering slower (but still relatively high-speed) routes connecting smaller population centres to their state metropoles, and offering a more scenic journey to interstate passengers. The average speed of these networks can vary greatly, due to the vast density disparity/disparity in distance between population centres between states, but is comparable to similar systems in Japan and Europe.

All public transport services in Australia are fully nationalised, collectivised, syndicated, and considered constitutionally protected public utilities. The ultra-fast interstate network is operated by the Federal Consolidated Transportation Syndicate as the Australic Interstate Rail (A.I.R.) Network, whilst the various auxiliary rail services are operated by the State Transportation Syndicates. Most of the infrastructure, and the trains themselves, were built domestically, but some component fabrication and construction was done with assistance from the Japanese Ministry of Railways (鉄道省) and the Britannic Railwaymens' League.

Australia possesses the longest non-stop rail service in the southern hemisphere by distance, between Perth and Sydney, which is just over 4000kms (2500mi) long. Aboard the A.I.R. Network, this trip typically takes less than 6 hours. Being an island nation, Australia has no international rail connections.
January 27° - The 2025 Federal Election season has begun! Initial three-party preferred polls put the I.S.P. ahead at 37%, followed by the Country Party at 34%, then Labor at 29%.

Our country utilizes many nuclear powered high-speed rail systems across the entirety of our continent and foreign territories, they are all privately run, however they do come under the oversight of some agencies namely the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), Nuclear Waste Technical Review Board (NWTRB), and the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) of our government's Department of Mediation (DOM). Our country is primarily powered by Nuclear Power so it would only make sense that our high-speed rail systems are powered by such.

Yes, Anatoliyanskiy has a very advanced high-speed rail network that spans the entire country, and connects the country to its offshore states of Surdana, Sea Turtle Island and Alam Island of Hoarisla. The network is entirely free and nationalized, and its base is in Anatolville (all lines lead to the city). A current extension is being built to connect the city of Andropov to Holstam.

The Democratic Republic has a nationwide HSR system that is operated by Gandoor Rail, the state-owned rail operator. Trains on our HSR system travel at an average speed of 220 km/h and have a top speed of 275 km/h.

Yes, we operate High Speed Rail systems going between all of our major cities, and we also have a Maglev train in between our cities Nava and Minerva, although this Maglev train is still being tested.

Our High Speed Rail system is owned and operated by the MBTTSA (Middle Barael Train Transit System Autgority), while the trains themselves are produced by MB-Transit, which in turn is owned by AFEA Barael, the state-owned Eco-Friendly Vehicle company.

Our High Speed Rail has two Regions, each divided into further lines.

Cothon Region:
Bellamonte
Calisota
Cothon City
Gartageni

Mainland Region:
Scania
Middle Barael City
Nance
Domicile
Nevurn
Terevan
Minerva
Nava
Sacrovilla
Likon

In addition, a normal rail line connects these two Regions, and these cities connect with smaller cities and towns via normal Trains and Light Rail systems.

A contract was recently awareded to Siemens Mobility to build an HSR route from Berlin to Saarbrücken, where it will end at a joint Artherian-Medoynian border station that will allow travel from Saarbrücken to Roissy and vice versa. Beyond this new line, there are multiple HSR lines connecting Artherian cities, primarily in Germany.

Yes, we have 3 high speed lines. As our country is only 47000 square kilometers. And, our country is full of mountain ranges. There are only high speed lines for international connections, as our investment uses to be medium short connections. It only links major cities as Barcelona with Girona, Figueres and Perpinyà (French border), L1 Nord. L2 Sud: Barcelona, with Tarragona and Tortosa (Valencian Border). L3 Barcelona Oest: Barcelona, Tarragona, Lleida and Fraga (Spanish Border).

By year of inauguration L1 Barcelona Nord connects Barcelona to the North and links with France and other European Nations high Speed lines. Inaugurated in motive of 1992 Barcelona Olympics. To Paris, Lyons, Marseilles, Milan, London, Bruxelles, Bassel, Munchen, etc. Later L2 Barcelona Sud inaugurated in 1999. Connects Barcelona with València's Estació del Nord and Alacant. And, L3 Barcelona Barcelona Oest to Saragossa inaugurated in 2008 and Barcelona. Linking with Spanish high speed trains to Madrid and Bilbao, Bordeaux.

Yes, the NAU is home to several existing and ongoing projects to create high-speed rail to connect natural resources and industrial areas to ports and cities. These exist at the regional level where the general government helps pay provincial confederations' high-speed rail projects that not only connect resources to ports and cities but also major cities per region. This is done through private-public partnerships.

Due to our nation's small size and population, there is presently no HSR system operating in Aikoland, however we are currently constructing a high-speed line that will connect Ville d'Aiko (our capital and largest city) with Vilois, our nation's second largest city. The HSR line connecting the two cities is planned to be opened in 2023.
