Request to unlock a thread

The thread for The Great Experiment got locked recently, maybe because of Pekares' necropost? The Gameplay forum guide says that regions are allowed to revive their threads "after years of inactivity." We're the featured region today, can the thread be unlocked?

Sorry it took so long, but I've unlocked the thread. Another option when your region's thread has been dead for so long is to just start a fresh one, but since the thread OP is still active, we could unlock it too.
