Piikalan-Trenakan Trade Talks(Invite Only)

Postby Piikala » Thu Jan 14, 2021 1:06 am

Piikalan officials meet the Trenakan representatives at a Piikalan airport in Manila where they're taken to several waiting cars that take them straight from the tarmac to a waiting armoured high-speed train. That takes them through the gleaming modern city of skyscrapers covered with living facades that quickly into large sprawling rice fields and small modern towns followed by the dense jungle. After several hours of travelling through the jungle, until they arrive at an Imperial Piikalan Palace. Where they are met by two large Polynesian men dressed in Kapa loin cloth holding red and yellow Kahili and an older man also dressed in Kappa loin cloth chanting the imperial chant in Hawaiian(a Piikalan chant that basically in the origin story of the Imperial family and all the successive rulers, their families, and their accomplishments) in between them stands the Imperial Piikalan Princess the next ruler of Piikala Liliokalani Yamato the XVII in a golden silk Kimono that has on it embroidered the Imperial Chants story, The Piikalan Prime Minister Kanao Nakamura in a Kappa Kimono, Minister of Foreign Relations Muhamud Tan Lee dressed in beautifully decorated batik Baju Malayu, Minister of Economic Affairs Lee Cho Wong dressed in black pants and black long sleeve shirt, and Minister of Environmental Affairs and Resources Ruyta Kato dressed in orange Kimono. Upon the exciting of the Trenakan representatives from the train, the sound of stomping footsteps can be heard with the sound of stomping and screaming overcoming the chant as Piikalan Imperial Guard approach the Trenakans screaming a Haka slapping their chests and sticking out their tongue with ceremonial spears made of obsidian glass in hand and dressed in Kapa skirt and with Katanas and Lei-o-Manos at their side. They chant:

ʻO wai ʻo Dares e komo hewa i ka ʻohana o ka puka ʻana o ka lā!
ʻO wai ʻo Dares e komo hewa i ka ʻohana o ka puka ʻana o ka lā!
ʻO wai eʻaʻa?
ʻO wai eʻaʻa?
ʻO wai e ʻaʻa e hele kokoke i ke kaikamahine a ka lā e ola nei
ʻO wai e ʻaʻa e hele kokoke i ke kaikamahine a ka lā e ola nei
No ka mea, e pale mākou i ke kaikamahine a ka lā
Mākou e
Mākou e
No laila e hōʻike ʻoe iā mākou i kou kala maoli a i ʻole alo i kā mākou ihe!

Translation:
Who dares to come upon the family of the Rising Sun!
Who dares to come upon the family of the Rising Sun!
Who dares?
Who dares?
Who dares to come near the daughter of the living sun?
Who dares to come near the daughter of the living sun?
For we shall protect the daughter of the sun
We will
We will
So show us your true colour or face our spear!

The Trenakan delegates would be a little confused, until their translator provided a translation into German. The translator would answer in Hawaiian, "We are the trade delegates from Trenaka."

The Piikalan Imperial Guard lowers their spears and lets them through. The group is then led through the jungle until they see many stairs that the group walks down into a large underground mansion in silence. The Piikalan diplomats then take off their shoes as they enter the building and are directed to a large grand sitting table with a white coloured wooden floor and large marble sitting table with a screen mounted into it. The group is directed to sit on an ornately decorated legless chair and offered some tea to drink.

The diplomats would sit down at the table, and would accept the offer of tea.

The foreign minister would ask them a question: “What languages do you speak? If we can all speak a common language, it will be a lot easier to communicate and will avoid any miscommunications.”
The translator would translate that into Hawaiian.

The Prime minsters leans over to Lee Cho Wong wong and says the same message in Bahasa and Minister Wong responds and says in Piikalan, "Of course princess I shall accommodate for our guests gladly." Minister Lee leans over to minister Kato and says the princess message in Japanese and the minister says in Piikalan, "Of course I shall your Majesty for the punctuality of business should and comfortableness of our guests should come before my own." The Princess acknowledges the comments of the ministers as the Prime minister and Minister Lee nod their head acknowledging they will be comfortable with translating the negotiations. So the princess looks at the guests and says in German, "So shall we get started?"

The Piikalan Prime minister says, "Ok, that is reasonable. We should be able to accomplish this, so consider it done."

“Excellent,” the Foreign Minister would reply. “We have another goal in mind: creating an airline flight from Munich to your capital city. It would help boost tourism to both of our capitals.”

Piikalans propose having a flight to the second biggest city of Piikalan Edo instead of the Piikalan capital since the city doesn't have a civilian airport to preserve the city's history and keep noise down.

(OOC: Do you mean Zurich or Munich? Trenaka doesn’t include Zurich, just most of southern Germany.
