Gday Islanders! It appears that many of us have national male football teams yet no-one and nowhere outside of their country to play in at the moment. To that end, I am starting this thread to plan out the Isles Cup. The Isles Cup is a competition that will be held jointly by Roendavar, Segentova and the Alteran Republics in-character whilst I’ll simulate the results and post them in this thread. The exact format has not been worked out yet but will be once I have a sense for the amount of teams that will be participating in the tournament. IC posts related to this tournament should be posted to the Citizens of TWI thread whilst results will be published and OOC communciation made in this thread.

I have not yet planned an official start date for the tournament, but I foresee it occurring in the next couple of months.

Also, if you’ve got any suggestions or ideas please feel free to put them in the thread below - this is quite an underdeveloped idea and I just wanted to get it out into the planning phase quickly.

As always, this thread is for nations a part of The Western Isles ONLY and only nations that are on the region’s map will be able to participate in the tournament in-character.

United Magarat

Nickname: The White Tigers (Although the official government in New Libang is recognized as the de facto government of the Magarati federation, there are many semi-recognized states within mainland Magarat who are in state of war with the federation. The United Magarat Mens Football Team, or White Tigers as they are better known, had players all over from mainland Magarat working together as a team. You will notice that many players are from FC Khumbuwan, a team located in a separatist region, and Chyo-Bang FC located in another separatist region disputed with San Montagna.)

Skill Level: 81 (If I have to be honest, this number is opposite of 18, as in "Athara" means "18"; so I decided to have this. Since Magarat is the head of UAFA, the Argus branch of the IFAF, and has many excellent players in both domestic and foreign leagues such as the ones in Ostehaar and San Montagna; I think this skill level is justified.)

• Samir Gurung - Called the next "Milan Main" by the media. Just like Main, Gurung is a quick, agile, creative and technical player with good dribbling skills. He usually functions as the second striker but often drops into deeper positions from which he can link the midfield with the attack and initiate passing moves.

• Gadhriel Virestie Nestrelis- A native of the small city of Eserael. Regarded as the team's best player. He was commended by the Roendavarian government as one of the outstanding young humans of the year 2019 and was personally recommended to the team by the Roendavarian monarch himself.
• Radhmir Vazelnari Riltherias- Considered as an icon by Vastarosi as he is the only member of the team of pure Vasarosti blood. He is the team's primary goalkeeper.
