Tsarina Ilyina Romanova, the 19th Romanov Monarch and 2nd Monarch of Tsarstvo Alyaski. |
"Your greeting to me is returned, ms Spletnova. You have an interesting alias there, though why you would wish to hide yourselves from my eyes is beyond me... Naturally, you must have your own reasons? And 'The Red Stallion' is a news network of which I have not heard of before, and I would believe that it may originate from the Russian Federation. Maybe it does, but you have seemed to misspelled 'Stalingrad', of which is not even it's name anymore... Oh well, I am not here to berate any misspelling. Please forgive my probing, I am just merely curious... By any means, you have a question? I believe Tsarina Ilyina Romanova has answered this herself, but I shall answer myself as well... Ah, one of the many triangles of Politics. As for what I personally believe in, 'Worker's Rights' is by all means the policy and ideals of which I stress the most. As a modern nation, we should not let those who are downtrodden and less well off suffer in a system of which does not benefit them. Privatization is usually an evil force, there are many, many cooperations, organizations and other companies who are more interested in lining their already huge pockets with cash and coin than providing for the people who need it. Tsarstvo Alyaski has been locked into bolstering the Private Sector for so long now, and whilst our nation is not third - world by any means, the citizens who actually put in the most work deserve more. I feel like it will take more than a year and a half to reverse decades of politics, though... I do not wish to strip all Private sector from this country though, that is a ridiculous premise. If everything was controlled by the government, by us, that would quickly corrupt and ruin the system. As for environmentalism, I am an advocate for it. The wilds of Alyaski are prestine, beautiful and unique, and it would not deserve ruin. Now, I could talk for much longer, but we both know that politics never rest. It has been a pleasure answering for you, Karolina Spletnova. If is is indeed the Russian Federation of which you live in and serve, I wish you and our brothers and sisters to the west of Alaska the best, and please do stay safe..." |

Tsarina Ilyina Romanova, the 19th Romanov Monarch and 2nd Monarch of Tsarstvo Alyaski. |
"Greetings to you, Emperor Charles von Roland. The question is appreciated, and for what I reckon, our Tsarina of Alaska has already, or is in the process for responding to your question herself. I suppose it would be prudent for myself to answer such a question, since you did mention me in it, no? Now then, the question, what is it about?.. Ah, a question on Politics. Would I ever attempt to reform Tsarstvo Alyaski and it's governance to be more in line with Svenska-Britannia's, a semi - constitutional, Elective Monarchy? Now, I do not mean to be blunt here, but my answer would have to be a firm no. Anything above a constitutional monarchy system is a dictatorship, rule over many by the few. Whilst your system may be working well for your nation, the idea of Tsarstvo Alyaski's democracy and civil rights being stripped away abhors me, to be honest. A monarchy with great power over it's subjects is no different to other dictatorships, in my opinion, and as the leader of a Social Democratic party within a government not unlike the one of Canada, you could probably guess how I feel about such premise. In addition, to make our monarchy elective is a rather ridiculous idea. The Romanov Dynasty is a symbol of national pride for us, and to strip that would harm our culture, respect for history and international clout. I hope that my thoughts are reasonable to you. I cannot say anything for Svenska-Britannia, but for our nation, making it semi - constitutional is an awful idea. Though I have just done plenty of criticism, I still wish you, and your nation the very best." |

The Tsarstvo Alyaski National and International Relations Bureau.
It is an honour to see you here, madam President Nathalie Pérreau. We at the Tsarstvo Alyaski N.I.R.B has seen it fit to answer this question of which you have provided our state, with permission to do so from both the head of Government and State, that being her majesty of Alaska, and Lukina Mikhailovna. I am sure that the pair may make some additions to what we wish to answer should it be necessary.
Now, to the question. You ask about national emergencies and how Царство Аляски deals with such threats to the nation? We will attempt to answer this to the best of our ability. Firstly, let us start with restrictions, and the Government has the liberty to introduce many such laws and policies depending on the emergency.
We have had recent experience of national emergency in a virus pandemic simply named eponymously after the virus itself, that being COVID - 19. Alaska's bitter cold conditions prevents most microbial diseases from appearing in great numbers, however this virus struck the globe in almost every place in earth. As such, our nation had to take precautions nevertheless, of which the Conservative Party, running the country at the time had made it so large gatherings would be prohibited, face coverings mandatory for crowded, busy areas, the like.
As for other national emergencies, of which Alaska may unfortunately be subject to, we have plans for how to counteract them too. In the case of Natural disasters, such as Earthquakes or Volcanoes. In both cases, the Alyaski government may establish numerous measures in the affected area(s) in order to proper facilitate recovery quicker.
And in the case of wars, we currently have a DEFCON system similar to the United States, though different as well due to Tsarstvo Alyaski's lack of nuclear weapons. For instance, at the highest level, when enemies to the state have been confirmed as launching nuclear weapons, the government would bring in immediate martial law, and the people of Alaska would be commanded to seek a public bunker, or if not, metro systems, personal basements or well secured buildings. Our military is small compared to the world's powers, so preservation comes before retaliation in the onset of war.
The National Government takes control of the nation in times of strife, not the Monarchy. The Romanovs serve a constitutional role, a national symbol of sorts even in national emergency.
Once more, we at the Tsarstvo Alyaski N.I.R.B appreciate the question, madam President of the European Federation.

"It has been a while since I have been seen in the spotlight of international affairs... I am pleased that the National and International Relations Bureau has yet to forget about the party that has been the most influential in Alyaski politics since the age of the Traitor's Retreat. |
"A very good day to all potential persons who may see this... I am personally quite glad indeed that the N.I.R.B had invited me, the Presidential Candidate of the Liberal Democrats of Alaska to partake in this Questions and Answers thread... |
"Relatively speaking, I am personally quite humbled by the Tsarstvo Alyaski N.I.R.B that they had managed to not forget about the party I run, of which is only just Minor League with under 4,000 national supporters, or perhaps even 'conveniently' forget about me, eh? My views... My. Party's view is not always necessarily always looked upon fondly by the overall population, but I am glad that the Governmental Corporation has given us a chance, at the very least... |

"Hello all! And a huge thank you to the Tsarstvo Alyaski National and International Relations Bureau for allowing the Alaskan Greens, or moreso myself personally entry into this Questions and Answers thread... As a party which wishes to promote their message across the whole world, and in addition any potential cooperation to boot, this is quite the service that has been given to us, I am sure of it. |
(A relatively long silence leads the recording from sir Diterikhs...) "... I had wondered for many hours now whether participation in this QnA thread would even have been a good idea. I have little idea as to what the motives are for the Tsardom of Alaska National and International Relations Bureau is, and as much as I want to believe it positive, I quite doubt it... Most of the population disagrees with my party's righteous principles... Hell, even that Ilyina Romanova, the Tsarina disagrees with us, which is. Well, ironic. I come into this with the assumption that promoting my, and my party's message to the international world could prove as beneficial as dangerous. |

Stephaniesland wrote:Greetings to the leader of the Romanov Restoration Initiative. My name is Jan Lovell of the Carolina News Network. I would like to inquire into the reasons behind your organisation's intended purpose. It is rather strange that there is someone out there that thinks that their nation should return to an absolute monarchy, even though all of Europe and her descendants cast off the absolute role of the monarch decades, if not centuries, ago. We would also like to inquire into how you believe the government itself should be run outside of the monarch herself. We are further interested in whether you are supportive of other nation's monarchist organisations, such as my own nation's ruling Imperialist Party, which is interested in making our head of state into a monarch but are prevented from doing so by their fellow coalition members. Any response you could give to these inquiries would be of utmost interest to the citizens of Stephaniesland.
