There were a number of signups with the wrong number of entrants in team events - for some reason the Nordic combined women's team event was something people put individual entries into. If you had the right number or too many athletes, I accommodated where possible, if you had to few, your entries were discarded.

Snowboarding men's big air final will in fact be on Day 16.

Do you mean this?

NordicCombined:Women's Team Large Hill (4)

The confusion could be because it says (4) and not (1 team of 4)

This was noted, and I thought corrected, before the Games began:

Graintfjall wrote:One more small error: pretty sure NordicCombined:Women's Team Large Hill (4) should be NordicCombined:Women's Team Large Hill (1 team of 4).

Kelssek wrote:Fixed. Fortunately only Mapletish treated this as an individual event and entered a full 4 athletes. I'll average the skill mod and put all four into the team unless I am specifically told otherwise.

But if many people took it as an individual event, perhaps discarding their entries isn't the best solution.

I must have missed that the correction was made.

For what it's worth, I used the spreadsheet after Kelssek said he corrected the error, but the error still appears on my sheet (I didn't think to mention it because it was not an event I entered.)

Fair enough, the spreadsheet did not update. In fact, only one entrant was affected, the Sonnel combined team. If they TG me the proper entrants within 24 hours I will insert them into the results.

An incorrect ranking rule was applied to the snowboarding women's big air event yesterday. Athletes were ranked by total score across three jumps when the total of the best two jumps should have been used. This affected placements between 5th and 10th and has now been corrected in the results.

After a check to ensure all listed events are indeed scheduled or completed, the women's team large hill in ski jumping and the Nordic combined women's individual normal hill events are now set to go.

Apologies that this is a day late, but why was there only one run in the women's super combined?

Because I thought that xkoranate gives the final time and not just the speed portion, but comparing to RL results shows that can't be right, so I will add a slalom run to those two events today.

*clutching my medal* You could just let it slide...

Seriously, thanks. I'm sorry I didn't raise it after the men's, I just assumed you'd combined the scores. Oh well!

Super combined results have been corrected.

(And in my view, in future it ought to be modified to scorinate as the combined time, because that allows more freedom for people to RP the speed vs. technical aspect without throwing up results inconsistent with how their characters are defined)

One more note for today's results: I changed women's ski cross from 24 to 32 qualifiers, having realized the reason for 24 qualifiers IRL is that only 24 athletes entered/qualified for the Olympic event and it would have 32 qualifiers otherwise.

I don't think this is necessary at all. If a host feels that strongly about it, they can simply choose to display only the total result after scorinating both runs.

I was curious to see how many multi-medal athletes there were, so I copied the entire page of results and tried editing it in a spreadsheet. There's probably a wayyyyyyyy easier way, but here's what I got if anyone is interested in digging through it.

I started splitting team events into a row per athlete, but didn't get very far.

Kelssek, thanks for running this, and thanks to those whose RPs really made it fun. Sorry I wasn't feeling more inspired myself in terms of contributions.

Great work everyone and good luck everyone for the final MD.

Thanks for running these excellent Games, Kelssek!

I really appreciated all the built-in days off; it gave more time for RPing.

On behalf of our region, we thank you for hosting and scoring, Kelssek, and for all those who were worthy competitors. We look forward to the next Winter Olympics and the next summer edition, also.
