Hmm. Why does that sound so.. normal.

Many of these immigrants come from nations that they have ruined. If the majority of people in Honduras were gentle, efficient, industrious, and peace-loving, the nation would not have such a high murder rate or be so corrupt. Honduras people would not tolerate awful politicians who don't care about fixing their nation. Panama and Costa Rica, while not perfect, are doing much better than El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras. All of these nations are in Central America, all have coastlines, all are comprised mostly of Hispanics which means it is not racism, geography, or the fact they are brown skinned (some racists think all brown skinned Hispanics are the same) that are keeping some Central American nations down. The people in the crappy Latin American nations (Venezuela can be added to this list) are more violent by nature. Some blame the USA for their failures but this is a ridiculous idea.

I agree that the immigrants are looking for a better life but their methods are not all the same. Watch 'Scarface' to see how certain immigrants look for a better life in the USA. Also, the USA has millions of people on poverty that desperately need decent jobs to improve their situation. The USA can't afford to fund a national healthcare program (a real one, not the crappy Obamacare/Romneycare that is awful for the lower classes) because it is too poor to do so. The USA can't afford to fix its decaying infrastructure in many places. The USA can't afford decent public transport in many cities (even Tashkent, Manila, Bombay, Calcutta, and Lahore now have a metro/light rail systems which Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Milwaukee, Columbus, and Kansas City lack).

When the USA cuts its poverty rate down, fixes the homeless problem, has a national healthcare system, gets rid of the national debt, and has light rail/street cars/metros in all its big cities, lowers its population to 200 million (which will reduce traffic jams and reduce the housing crisis) perhaps it can allow some qualified immigrants from poor (but less violent/corrupt) countries.

I don't believe I was trolling in this post. I am stating my reasons why:

I am assuming the person who reported me to be from Honduras. I didn't use swear words and I have reasons for my statements. Perhaps the word 'crappy' was not appropriate and I could have used a synonym such as lousy or sub-par. However, I have seen worse words like the 'F'-word. I thought my post was PG in content.

'Crappy' basically means the same as 'lousy' which is a very weak negative word. I didn't even realize 'crappy' was too strong for this website.

I also said that Honduran people are violent by nature. 'By nature' just means 'essentially' and I didn't mean that people are born with these qualities as you might have assumed I meant. As I mentioned, Costa Rica and Panama are comprised of Hispanics as Honduras is. They are the same racial ethnic group. This means Hondurans are not violent because they are born to be this way. Honduras is a violent country because many in the country CHOOSE to be. While you and the person who reported me may not agree that Honduras is violent and are angry that I stated it is. However, even mainstream websites state that Honduras is violent.

National pride is good. I am happy that the person who reported me is proud of his nation. However, he let his national pride blind him to the fact that Honduras is dangerous. Many politicians are corrupt. Many people are fleeing because they are unhappy with the way Honduras is. Honduras is a nation that is below average by many standards compared to the world and these are facts not racism. It is just like stating Baltimore is a dangerous city. The average person from Baltimore is more likely to murder someone than the average person from Naperville, Illinois. I am an American and also will not hesitate to state a negative fact about an American city. The murder rate in Baltimore is higher than Naperville just as the murder rate in Honduras is higher than the USA as a whole. This is not a lie.

Is it now not allowed to state that a nation has a high violent crime rate or is below average vs. other nations in the world? I feel I was attacked for being against illegal immigration and also wanting to restrict immigration from certain nations which is taboo among leftists. I feel the ban went too far.

If you want to argue crime statistics, argue crime statistics. Calling entire groups of people "violent by nature" is not the same thing and it is not acceptable. You clearly know very well what you were implying when you wrote that, so use that foresight to choose your words more wisely in the future.
