Standing of the steps of St. Paul’s Cathedral, Bonnie Grant, Lady Grant, Social Secretary for the Royal Household, looked out to a sea of spectators buzzing with excitement. As crowds cheers and celebrated, guests mingled and caught up, and security officers kept a keen eye of what was going on, Lady Grant continued t map of every piece of the coronation in her head. The wife of the last Lord Anthony Grant, Ambassador to the World Assembly, and courtier from a storied Calafria family, this was her greatest task at the Social Secretary for the Royal Household. After decades of diplomatic isolation due to the late Grand Princess’s distrust of international organizations and influences, Lady Grant saw this coronation as Calafria first major diplomatic event where the worlds eyes was on the sun kissed nation.

Swells of cheers and applause managed the break through as black limousines came to a rolling stop in front of the cathedral. As each limousine continued on, the occupants turned the crowd to give a short waves before making their way to be greeted by Lady Grant. Draped in gowns, showed in jewellery, and topped by tiaras the female guests were matched by the males counterparts wrapped in military uniforms platted by medals and ribbons indicating their great triumphs or that of their fathers before them.

Having welcomed the Speakers and Leaders of the Estates-Generals, Lady Grants took a beep breathing knowing that foreign government representatives, heads of government, and heads of state where soon to arrival and then later the President, Council of State and royal family.

OOC: I made the card, then I saw you split this into an OOC thread. However, I enjoy this card too much to not flex it while writing an inquiry, so the OOC/IC may be a smidge blurred. To summarize for OOCly important details, should I have this outside in a big top, or inside something else? I do not know how practical any of these options would be, as I don't know the setting all that well. I'm assuming it's the same as IRL St. Paul's in LA, but I'd like OOC confirmation in the event of differences.

Firstly, relay my sincerest congratulations towards future Grand Prince of Calafria, His Most Serene Highness Prince Hudson, and we five of AARU hope that his reign will be one of prosperity. Furthermore, we are most delighted to perform for a man such as him, and we aim to ensure that this will be a day to be remembered.
Now then, onto introductions. AARU consists of five members, all of us being performers simultaneous with some other role in our group: our leader and primary vocalist, Kebechet; our acrobat, Renenūtet; our producer, Shai; our choreographer, Twtw (also Romanized as Tutu); and the writer of this letter and social media manager, Satis. As part of our performance, we do need to know the venue: depending on the stage, and whether it is outside or inside, this will substantially change our plans and the equipment that we will bring, as our performance does include several Pepper's ghost illusions and some acrobatics by Renenūtet. That said, we would prefer an interior performance, or, space permitting, can set up a big top tent if necessary.

Lastly, I must frankly say that our group is somewhat eccentric, inasmuch as we are renowned performers in Ezhara. While none of us are harmfully strange, and indeed are able to mostly manage ourselves, I must say that our behavior can be surprising to those unfamiliar, and that my warnings are for the sake of convenience. Namely, Kebechet refers to herself as a psychopomp, and takes a keen interest in helping people move beyond the grief of death. Renenūtet is impulsive, and may take one of the other Ezharan guests, Eiko Michori, up during her performance, but rest assured that the two of them know what they will be doing, as Eiko has performed his own stunts in one of his films. Shai is altruistic to the point of overexerting himself and becoming extremely uncomfortable if he is unable to help people whose suffering he is aware of. Twtw physically can not stop dancing due to a sensory disorder causing him constant discomfort. This leaves me, Satis; most refer to me as a social chameleon, but I am of far less conspicuity than the rest.

Still, rest assured that we will be able to keep ourselves in line, and perform our gift with little issue. While all five of us may be known as eccentrics, we are still Ezharan Idols, all devoted to our artistry, all devoted to our performances.

I appear to have taken a tad too long to make a post. Calafria, would you be willing to have it so that I've in-characterly been present but my activity progressed without substantial remark (so you don't have to go back and change your post), or would you rather I be late because of traffic? I don't particularly mind or care for either choice, and it's up to you how you want this timeline to operate. As of now, my post plan consists of a scene in the car with Eiko/Darius, the flamboyant introduction of AARU, and then the gift-giving.
