This thread is about Bill Wurtz, his videos or songs, and anything else about the man.
If you are wondering, Bill Wurtz is a YouTuber/Songwriter, known for his jazzy and weird sound effects he adds in his videos. His videos are especially likable, including “history of the entire world, i guess”, a documentary about the world which received over 5 million views at the time of its release in 2017.
Wurtz started his channel in 2013. He was a struggling songwriter, writing wacky songs. He also used Vine, but was not popular. At this time, Wurtz made one-second to one-minute videos about random things. These did not do anything for him, and he only got 1,000-40,000 views on these videos.
Bill came to popularity in 2016, with the release of the animated documentary “history of japan”. This basically told the history of Japan, from the Ancient Age to now, with cool animations and jingles. The following year, he released “history of the entire world, I guess.” This is Wurtz’s most popular video to date.
After this, starting 2018, Bill started posting songs with cool animations and flashing effects, like “slow down” and “la de da de da de da de day oh”. Those got him more than 1,500,000 views. But unfortunately, with the release of “might quit”, Wurtz has become inactive. He is currently learning new software.
