Welcome to Chromatika

Overview: Chromatika is a nation composing of a group of islands located in the far northeastern corner of Atlantian Oceania. There is the main island of Chromatik Island itself, Urrhed Island to the southwest, Myana Island to the northwest, and the Wilderness Preserve of Dorri Island to the northeast.

Chromatika one day popped into existence by mysterious forces that have since been identified as a group of extraplanar angels known as The Enlightened Ones. It's still unclear where the populace came from. The Chromatik Party held sway over the land, implementing its seven-color caste system, until the Rainbow Revolution happened, led by the Chromatik National Team in World Cup 75. This resulted in the first Manager of Chromatika - Franscesca Larriet-Cortes - being martyred.

A group of revolutionaries called the Shadow Writers were able to gather elements of the Chromatik Army, Air Force, and Navy to overthrow the Chromatik Party. Alina Krasnikova, one of the leaders of this movement, was the first Premier. Chromatika then ran into another hiccup when the time of the first democratic election came, with the Checkers Party, formed by a lot of the remnants of the Chromatik Party, tried to take control of the election. Aided by one of the Enlightened Ones, the Rainbow Party was able to, with help with their Atlantian Oceanian neighbors, stop the forces behind the Checkers Party and ensure a safe election.

In the last year or so, there has been peace in Chromatika, and a chance for the nation to rebuild itself to a form that it now wishes to be.

Cultural Notes: While visiting Chromatika, please observe the following:

Transportation: Chromatik highways aren't very wide - two lanes per side at most. There is a very expansive railroad system that was originally used for troop movement, but is has been refitted to serve the everyday citizen. A subway system and a bus system in the bigger cities have also been established. The National Airport is also not very big, only serving regional flights. For the tournament, the nation will be accepting team planes to land, but it'd be best if you flew to Atlantian Oceania first. Ferries run from the Islands of Myana and Urrhed to the main island on the hour.

Currency: The currency of Chromatika is the National Mark. the exchange rate is at a respectful 2.2 Chromatik National Mark per 1 NS Dollar. Cost of living is rather low in Chromatika, as the government provides most things through taxes. A bottle of water costs 1 NMS, a good meal about 7, and a new car around 24,000. Please come to Chromatika with all your currency changed to NSD. We don't provide exchange services from other currencies.

Climate: Chromatika is a rather cold nation, with the average temperature being 65 F (18 C) in the summer and down to 11 F (-12 C) in the winter. The northern parts tend to be colder, while Myana and Urrhed tend to be a bit warmer. There is a temperate jungle in Eyrods where the temperature can spike up a bit more. It doesn't rain much, but snows a fair bit; winds don't gust that much, either. Climate-wise, it's a rather cold, boring, land.

Language: The official languages of Chromatika are English, Korean, French, Mandarin, and Russian. The most commonly used one in English. Depending on where you visit, you can hear one of the other being spoken interchangeably. Most Chromatik peoples know at least three of the five languages, with one of them being English. Pockets of other language speakers do exist, but are more rare.

Cuisine: Chromatik food is usually spicy, filling, and served warm. There are a few cold dishes, but as the country itself is very cool/cold, Chromatiks prefer hot dishes. Korean, French, Chinese, and Eastern European dishes are all available for consumption.

General Populace: The Chromatik people are respectful, polite, and usually keep to themselves. If you don't bug them, they won't bug you. That isn't to say that they aren't nice, as Chromatiks get by with most everyone. Just don't make fun of the past, don't make light the actions of the Chromatik Party, and enjoy your visit!

Note: You'll often recognize that the Capacity of a venue and the Seats are different. That's because traditionally, Chromatik stadiums were also the place that people would go to in case of evacuation due to natural disasters. The Capacity is the number of people that can fit in the stadium comfortably; the number of seats is the number of actual seats that are available to view the football games. For the ones where seats aren't listed, Capacity indicates number of seats.

Group Stage and Octofinals

Group A: Myana Island

Myana
Biggest port city in Chromatika. Second biggest city in Chromatika. Naval headquarters of Chromatika. Second biggest fishing town of Chromatika. Tourist attraction. Myana, and Myaners that live there, are hearty people who know the meaning of hard work and determination. If Chromia is the center, Myana is the lifeblood.

Venue: Island Dome (Cap. 133,000; 35,000 Seats)
The Island Dome is located five miles from downtown Myana, towards the interior of the Island. It is in the shape of a boat to commemorate the naval forces, and there is a cannon that goes off every time the Islanders score a goal at home.

Schedule:
Matchday 1: Dursea vs. Juvencus
Matchday 2: Chromatika vs. The Grearish Union
Matchday 3: Graintfjall vs. Darmen
Matchday 4: Juvencus vs. Sannyamathland
Matchday 5: The Grearish Union vs. Dursea
Matchday 6: Darmen vs. Chromatika
Matchday 7: Sannyamathland vs. Graintfjall
Octofinal 1: Seed #1 vs. Seed #16

Venue: The Dock (Cap. 19,240)
A small field that is in the middle of the Myana Docks, The Dock is a rather interesting stadium. All around the field are the actual docks, which makes the field almost floating in the middle of the water.

Schedule:
Matchday 1: Graintfjall vs. Chromatika
Matchday 2: Darmen vs. Dursea
Matchday 3: The Grearish Union vs. Juvencus
Matchday 4: Dursea vs. Graintfjall
Matchday 5: Sannyamathland vs. Darmen
Matchday 6: Graintfjall vs. The Grearish Union
Matchday 7: Chromatika vs. Dursea

Eyrods
One of the unexplained phenomenon of Chromatika is the climate of Eyrods, located on Myana Island. The Eastern half of Myana Island is a temperate jungle, teeming with wildlife and milder weather. Nobody is quite sure of why this is, but that is why Eyrods is the zoological capital of Chromatika. Eyrodi are appreciative of wildlife and have learned to coexist with it. The city itself is at the Coast, while the Jungle lies at the southern end.

Venue: The Jungle (Cap. 74,590; 26,000 Seats)
The greenest stadium in Chromatika, and we're not just talking about the color scheme. The stadium is made of recyclable matter - seats made of reused plastic, etc. It's a marvel of engineering and architecture, and it's not unusual to have birds fly over the stadium often. Don't worry - there's a clear roof that usually goes over it to protect you from anything that might fall from them.

Schedule:
Matchday 1: The Grearish Union vs. Sannyamathland
Matchday 2: Juvencus vs. Graintfjall
Matchday 3: Sannyamathland vs. Chromatika
Matchday 4: Darmen vs. The Grearish Union
Matchday 5: Chromatika vs. Juvencus
Matchday 6: Dursea vs. Sannyamathland
Matchday 7: Juvencus vs. Darmen

Group B: Urrhed Island

Tihon
Located on the northern half of Urrhed Island, Tihon is another fishing town, like Urrheddiao and Myana. It is also a tourist attraction due to the huge open beaches in the area. Tihon won the league five years in a row during the League Chromatiks era, but has struggled since.

Venue: The Tidal Wave (Cap. 95,210; 25,000 Seats)
The focal point of the town, is built on the high end of the island as to provide shelter against storms. Nowadays, more known as the home of the Tide.

Schedule:
Matchday 1: Saint-Domingues vs. Poafmersia
Matchday 2: Baker Park vs. Royal Kingdom of Quebec
Matchday 3: Zeta Reka & Hugeltaldom vs. Oberour Ar Moro
Matchday 4: Poafmersia vs. Tequilo
Matchday 5: Royal Kingdom of Quebec vs. Saint-Domingues
Matchday 6: Oberour Ar Moro vs. Baker Park
Matchday 7: Tequilo vs. Zeta Reka & Hugeltaldom
Octofinal 2: Seed 8 vs. Seed 9

Urrheddiao
Located at the southernmost point of Urrhed, Urrheddiao is the seafood capital of Chromatika. It is here that most of the fishing fleets call home, and over 85% of the nation's fish is caught here. The football culture is great here as well, as United started in the second tier and worked its way up to be one of the greatest teams within the nation before the league was disbanded. The fans are quite loyal here, and the rivalry with fellow Islanders Myana is something to watch.

Venue: United Center (Cap. 120,000; 28,000 Seats)
Initially, United owners wanted the stadium to be right by the water. However, safety concerns over the huge tidal waves in the winter forced the stadium to be about fifteen miles off the coast. The stadium can be transformed into a place where a lot of the city can take shelter in in the event of a tsunami or a typhoon, as it sits at the highest point on the island.

Schedule:
Matchday 1: Zeta Reka & Hugeltaldom vs. Baker Park
Matchday 2: Oberour Ar Moro vs. Saint-Domingues
Matchday 3: Royal Kingdom of Quebec vs. Poafmersia
Matchday 4: Saint-Domingues vs. Zeta Reka & Hugeltaldom
Matchday 5: Tequilo vs. Oberour Ar Moro
Matchday 6: Zeta Reka & Hugeltaldom vs. Royal Kingdom of Quebec
Matchday 7: Baker Park vs. Saint-Domingues
Octofinal 3: Seed 5 vs. Seed 12

Tor
A town located in the northeastern part of the island, Tor is a surfer's paradise. They were the laughingstock of the league for many years in the early days, but have finally landed a team into the Red League.

Venue: Teal Block (Cap. 13,000)
A block cube of a stadium, Teal Block is named so because the whole stadium is painted in teal. A bit of an eyesore, but that's what Tor prides itself in. There is a mathematical side to the construction of this monstrosity that is strangely serene.

Schedule:
Matchday 1: Royal Kingdom of Quebec vs. Tequilo
Matchday 2: Poafmersia vs. Zeta Reka & Hugeltaldom
Matchday 3: Tequilo vs. Baker Park
Matchday 4: Oberour Ar Moro vs. Royal Kingdom of Quebec
Matchday 5: Baker Park vs Poafmersia
Matchday 6: Saint-Doingues vs. Tequilo
Matchday 7: Poafmersia vs. Oberour Ar Moro

Group C: Deprí District

Deprí Lanar
Located at the Western side of the Deprí district, Lanar was founded first, and is the older brother. Deprí Lanar is known for producing most of the nation's vehicles. Viper Motors (previously Imhar Automotive) is located there, being the only automotive maker of Chromatika. Being by the coast means a lot of foreign cars come through here as well. They're rabid about their Hawks, and used to underachieving as a team, but passionate nonetheless.

Venue: Hawks' Nest (Cap. 112,000, 38,000 Seats)
The home of the Red Hawks, the Hawks' Nest was made to resemble a bird's nest with the field being where the eggs would lie in a bird's nest. The sloping roof does bounce back sound onto the field making it one of the loudest venues in Chromatika.

Schedule:
Matchday 1: Icecliff vs. Cassadaigua
Matchday 2: Indusse vs. Terre Septentrionale
Matchday 3: Tikariot vs. Sarzonia
Matchday 4: Cassadaigua vs. Bleronia
Matchday 5: Terre Septentrionale vs. Icecliff
Matchday 6: Sarzonia vs. Indusse
Matchday 7: Bleronia vs. Tikariot
Octofinal 4: Seed 4 vs. Seed 13

Deprí Sanar
The younger brother, Deprí Sanar is known for two things. First, it's where Z'ai'ai's lumber ends up to be turned into furniture. Second, it's where the headquarters of the Death Templars Law Firm is located. DTLF was the sponsor of the Chromatik League for many years and one of the biggest companies in Chromatika, helping now only settle law cases but also fund a lot of philanthropic efforts to aid the poor.

Venue: The Hive (Cap. 122,000, 42,000 Seats)
Don't go to The Hive unless you don't mind being a bit squished. It's the densest stadium, and was specifically designed that way to emulate a hive and how full it is of bees. The field is the most open part of the entire stadium, but the absence of a roof means you're at the mercy of the elements.

Schedule:
Matchday 1: Tikariot vs. Indusse
Matchday 2: Sarzonia vs. Icecliff
Matchday 3: Terre Septentrionale vs. Cassadaigua
Matchday 4: Icecliff vs. Tikariot
Matchday 5: Bleronia vs. Sarzonia
Matchday 6: Tikariot vs. Terre Septentrionale
Matchday 7: Indusse vs. Icecliff
Octofinal 5: Seed 6 vs. Seed 11

Knetyohai
Located in the southeast corner of the Deprí District right by the Capital District, Knetyohai is known for being the home of the Chromatik Army. Pronounced "Kay-net-yo-hai", the town is a mid-sized place in which about 80% of the population is with the Chromatik Army.

Venue: Warrior's Arena (Cap. 31,400)
Warriors' Arena is a practical stadium more than an aesthetic one, and the closed roof offers protection from any and all weather. Definitely an experience.

Schedule:
Matchday 1: Terre Septentrionale vs. Bleronia
Matchday 2: Cassadaigua vs. Tikariot
Matchday 3: Bleronia vs. Indusse
Matchday 4: Sarzonia vs. Terre Septentrionale
Matchday 5: Indusse vs. Cassadaigua
Matchday 6: Icecliff vs. Bleronia
Matchday 7: Cassadaigua vs. Sarzonia

Group D: Heartland District

Anfanhar
Anfanhar is known mostly for one thing: the country's only amusement park to date. AnfanWorld is an entity of much contention among the Chromatik populace as Anfanhar has passed quite a few laws to lower taxes being paid by the company just to keep it around. It's turned this town into a tourist town and given it much life.

Venue: Dragon's Nest (Cap. 48,210)
Having the appearance of a literal nest, Dragon's Nest is a feat of engineering. It overlooks the tallest roller-coaster of AnfanWorld, and the parkgoers' happy screams can be heard even from within the stadium.

Schedule:
Matchday 1: Mavinet vs. Rwekazaland
Matchday 2: Busoga Islands vs. Osh Carland
Matchday 3: Silvedania vs. Hispinas
Matchday 4: Rwekazaland vs. Abanhfleft
Matchday 5: Osh Carland vs. Mavinet
Matchday 6: Hispinas vs. Busoga Islands
Matchday 7: Abanhfleft vs. Silvedania

Pùr
Pùr is the biggest city in the Heartlands, and the capital of the district. This is where most of Chromatika's farmland is located. It is from this district that the nation generates most of its domestic grains and livestock. Without Pùr, Chromatika would either starve or go even further into foreign debt.

Venue: Riders' Arena (Cap. 35,210)
A small arena for a tight-knit bunch of fans. It's not a flashy stadium, but one that gets its job done, and a place that all Pùrites know about.

Schedule:
Matchday 1: Silvedania vs. Busoga Islands
Matchday 2: Hispinas vs. Mavinet
Matchday 3: Osh Carland vs. Rwekazaland
Matchday 4: Mavinet vs. Silvedania
Matchday 5: Abanhfleft vs. Hispinas
Matchday 6: Silvedania vs. Osh Carland
Matchday 7: Busoga Islands vs. Mavinet

Lorentine
A small town in the Heartland, Lorentine is known for having the best bakeries in the country. Marquis Bakery is the biggest of the lot and own half the team. It's a tight-knit community and team, and the fan base is absolutely loyal and full of fervor.

Venue: Lion's Den (Cap. 32,100)
The premier landmark in Lorentine, the Den is distinctive because the entrance is in the shape of a lion's mouth. spacious and roomy inside, it's considered one of the more luxurious stadia in Chromatika.

Schedule
Matchday 1: Osh Carland vs. Abanhfleft
Matchday 2: Rwekazaland vs. Silvedania
Matchday 3: Abanhfleft vs. Busoga Islands
Matchday 4: Hispinas vs. Osh Carland
Matchday 5: Busoga Islands vs. Rwekazaland
Matchday 6: Mavinet vs. Abanhfleft
Matchday 7: Rwekazaland vs. Hispinas

Group E: Mountain District

Felswyr
A town known for its ski resorts, a winter paradise. Felswyr is located about dead center of the Mountain District, right by Mt. Niai. It is known for tourism and for being the winter Capital of Chromatika.

Venue: Frozen Stadium (Cap. 32,100)
This stadium is mostly known for being 6,112 ft above sea level. The air is thin and cold, and wind chill can also be a factor. Thankfully, the tournament is being held in the summer, so temperatures should be a bit more mild. The Frost call this place their home venue, and each match is sold out due to the limited number of seats and the brand of football they play.

Schedule:
Matchday 1: Megistos vs. Hebitaka
Matchday 2: Hopal vs. HUElavia
Matchday 3: Starblaydia vs. Sharktail
Matchday 4: Hebitaka vs. Kohnhead
Matchday 5: HUElavia vs. Megistos
Matchday 6: Sharktail vs. Hopal
Matchday 7: Kohnhead vs. Starblaydia
Octofinal 6: Seed 3 vs. Seed 14

Z'ai'ai
Located at the Southeast corner of Chromatika, Z'ai'ai is seated by Mt. Kùrn, the highest point in Chromatika, with elevation of 17,254 ft. It is a rare place where you can experience the mountain and the ocean at the same time within an hour's drive. Pronounced 'Zee-aye-aye", it's also the cuisine capital of Chromatika due to the variety of ingredients that are available from both the mountains and the ocean. A lot of mining is done at Mt. Kùrn, and logging is also done on a sustainable level and sent to Deprí Sanar to be turned into furniture.

Venue: Z'ai'ai Field (Cap. 113,000; 40,000 Seats)
The home of the Mountaineers, and an iconic stadium that boasts the view of the ocean and of the mountain on a clear day. The pride of Z'ai'ai, and a beautiful sight.

Schedule:
Matchday 1: Starblaydia vs. Hopal
Matchday 2: Sharktail vs. Megistos
Matchday 3: HUElavia vs. Hebitaka
Matchday 4: Megistos vs. Starblaydia
Matchday 5: Kohnhead vs. Sharktail
Matchday 6: Starblaydia vs. HUElavia
Matchday 7: Hopal vs. Megistos
Octofinal 7: Seed 7 vs. Seed 10

Ming
Located in the southeastern part of the Mountain District, Ming is often considered the Jewel of Chromatika. When the Chromatik Party was in power, Ming was mostly inhabited by those of the social elite (Indigo, Violet, and even some of the Party itself). After the Rainbow Revolution, Ming has remained a jewel of wealth, promise, and a brighter future.

Venue: Jewel Dome (Cap. 22,300)
Specifically made with green tinted windows to resemble that of emerald or jade, the Jewel Dome literally glistens in sunlight. Wearing shades to this stadium is a must, as it's an indoors stadium and to get into it, you must pass by the infamous windows. It is a spectacular sight, though, and one that most won't forget anytime soon.

Schedule:
Matchday 1: HUElavia vs. Kohnhead
Matchday 2: Hebitaka vs. Starblaydia
Matchday 3: Kohnhead vs. Hopal
Matchday 4: Sharktail vs. HUElavia
Matchday 5: Hopal vs. Hebitaka
Matchday 6: Megistos vs. Kohnhead
Matchday 7: Hebitaka vs. Sharktail

Group F: Coastal District

Lhor
Located in the northeast corner of Chromatika, right by the ocean, Lhor was historically a whaling town, and now a place that is famous for its whalewatching tours. Otherwise, Lhor is famous for being the fashion Capital of Chromatika - although most of the modeling still happens in Chromatik City. A lot of young people live in Lhor because it's a small yet fashionable town.

Venue: The Cove (Cap. 51,265; 28,000 Seats)
A stadium built next to an aquarium? Absolutely.

Schedule
Matchday 1: Sylestone vs. Twicetagria
Matchday 2: Lochario vs. Devonta
Matchday 3: Equestria vs. Krytenia
Matchday 4: Twicetagria vs. Transvolcanic
Matchday 5: Devonta vs. Sylestone
Matchday 6: Krytenia vs. Lochario
Matchday 7: Transvolcanic vs. Equestria
Octofinal 8: Seed 2 vs. Seed 15

Pria
Pria is at the northeastern coast of Chromatika, and is where the ferry to the Island of Dorri is located. Dorri is a wildlife preserve that doesn't have any cities, just an observatory for scientists. Besides being a research town, Pria also does some fishing and watersports. It is the surfing capital of Chromatika, as waves can get pretty high with a favorable wind, leading to ideal surfing conditions.

Venue: The Pack (Cap. 67,290)
The home venue for the Pria Pride, The Pack is one of the oldest stadiums in Chromatika. Its architecture has a nostalgic feel of a bygone age. There have been numerous attempts for Prians to open a new stadium, but the fans have shot it down time and time again, claiming that their stadium does just fine. It is rather distinct from the rest, a glimpse into Chromatika's past.

Schedule
Matchday 1: Equestria vs. Lochario
Matchday 2: Krytenia vs. Sylestone
Matchday 3: Devonta vs. Twicetagria
Matchday 4: Sylestone vs. Equestria
Matchday 5: Transvolcanic vs. Krytenia
Matchday 6: Equestria vs. Devonta
Matchday 7: Lochario vs. Sylestone

Rhoni
The biggest city on the small island of Dorri off the East Coast of Chromatika, Rhoni is a scientist's paradise as it is surrounded by lots of observatories, conservatories, and the like. The populace here tends to be made up of scientists and their families. It isn't the most likely of footballing towns, but the fans seem to have taken a liking.

Venue: Rhoni Center (Cap. 9,460)
A converted convention center used for science fairs, the Rhoni Center is the only stadium in Chromatika that had a terrarium in the building next door. Definitely a place worth visiting at least once during one's life as a football fan.

Schedule:
Matchday 1: Devonta vs. Transvolcanic
Matchday 2: Twicetagria vs. Equestria
Matchday 3: Transvolcanic vs. Lochario
Matchday 4: Krytenia vs. Devonta
Matchday 5: Lochario vs. Twicetagria
Matchday 6: Sylestone vs. Transvolcanic
Matchday 7: Twicetagria vs. Krytenia

Quarterfinals and Beyond

Quarterfinals and Onward: Capital District

Alnio
Alnio is the technological capital of Chromatika, although it's right next to Chromatik City. Located just thirty-one miles East of Chromatik City, almost dead center of the Capital District, it is in Alnio that Black Raven Technologies is located. Alnio has lots of blue collar workers and used to be completely populated by Greens on the Chromatik Scale. Now, the city is busy with a lot of Red, Orange, and Yellow people being educated, along with some of the Blue, Indigo, and Violets who wanted to be scientists there to learn as well.

Venue: RCK Field (Cap. 100,400, 32,000 Seats)
RCK Field is a stereotypical football field in a nice stadium. The stadium surrounding the field has shopping malls built in it, and there is a huge food court as well. The Union make the field their home, and it was here that Alora Heher, Cosumarite, plied her trade before the exile of all foreign players.

Schedule:
Quarterfinal 1: Octofinal 1 Winner vs. Octofinal 2 Winner

Wirr Tsi
Wirr Tsi, a city that is more towards the Mountain District, is where the Chromatik National Army is located, with over sixty percent of the population being military. Besides being an army town, it's also where a lot of the armaments are manufactured. It's not a very exciting town, but an important one.

Venue: The Shock, Wirr Tsi (Cap. 51.350)
The Shock, home to the Wirr Tsi Shock, was built to house the Army's football team. It's not a very flashy stadium, but it was built rather recently, so it's state-of-the-art.

Schedule:
Quarterfinal 2: Octofinal 3 Winner vs. Octofinal 4 Winner
Third Place Playoff: Semifinal 1 Loser vs. Semifinal 2 Loser

Chromia
Chromia (previously Chromatik City) is the Capital of Chromatika and the seat of its government. The city is located ten miles east of the border with the Heartland and Deprí Districts, and some of the suburbs of the city spill into the other two districts. It is in Chromia that the Rainbow Party now holds its power, and where Keri Wyse Aart serves as the Premier. It is also the site where most of the atrocities of the previous regime were committed, so it is a very historical and very conflicting site for most Chromatiks. If the country is to move forward, though, this is where the most change will have to stem from.

Venue: Anomaly Tower (Cap. 110,320, 42,350 Seats)
Anomaly Tower is a really weird stadium, because it's on the tenth floor of a huge complex that is used as a famous restaurant. Yes, the restaurants close during matches so that the noise doesn't get too unbearable. But you can get a good meal at a five star restaurant and then go up to watch a match! Anomalies Football Club calls this place home.

Schedule:
Quarterfinal 3: Octofinal 5 Winner vs. Octofinal 6 Winner
Semifinal 1: Quarterfinal 1 Winner vs. Quarterfinal 2 Winner

Venue: Chromatik City Field (Cap. 100,000; 32,200 Seats)
The venue of both Chromia Central College University and the Crossroads Crusaders, Chromatik City Field is a modern marvel of engineering, having been built not too many years ago. The CCF Field is used for many festivities, competitions, and the like.

Schedule:
Quarterfinal 4: Octofinal 7 Winner vs. Octofinal 8 Winner
Semifinal 2: Quarterfinal 3 Winner vs. Quarterfinal 4 Winner

Venue: Capitalizt Dome, Chromia (Cap. 144,000)
The crowning jewel of Chromatika, and the national stadium where international matches are usually held. It's your typical big-team stadium, home of the Chromatik Capitalizt. It is one of the few stadiums that are only used for football matches. The national collegiate finals and high school finals are held here, too.

Schedule:
Final: Semifinal 1 Winner vs. Semifinal 2 Winner

Squadra Nazionale U-18 di Juvencus

The Juven Football Association, after multiple failed projects they did not follow through, have come with another idea for a project that is easier to put in real world terms. The creation of an offensive side in the senior sides has always been the goal of every single coached to have managed the national team. As such, the goal is to create a system where offensively-minded players are taken from the youth levels and turned into the fast, agile and counterattacking concrete squad of the senior national team, giving the team its characteristic, uncounterable and suffocating playstyle.

Take Vikings, make them feudal, put them in Antarctica, give them modern technology, and add the Inuit to the south, and you've pretty much got the idea of Icecliff.

Team name: Græntfjall
Trigram: GRÆ [GRF when not available]
Demonym/adjective: Græntfjaller
Team nickname: [Junior] Snow Wolves

Coach: Torsten Oliversson
Assistant coach: Trine Kakalisdóttir

A little more open to invention and creation than the NT coaches, Torsten and Trine share their disciplinarian streak, which is to be expected of people charged with herding around a group of overpaid teenagers.

Squad: A 23-person squad has been named for the tournament, although in practice those numbered 1-11 should be expected to start unless otherwise stated.
  • The Græntfjaller Premier League is gender-mixed and it is seen as uncontroversial for men and women to play alongside each other. If you find this unrealistic you are welcome to RP surprised reaction [although given the general state of NS Sports it would surely be not too much of an outlier] but it won’t be something we dwell on. -son names are men, -dóttir names women.
  • Football is only just becoming a millionaire’s game in Græntfjall, and then only at the top. Players earn a decent wage in the GPL but rarely more than that; the most expensive foreign transfer signings have been low seven figures NS$.
  • In general, Græntfjaller players are athletic and have excellent whole-match fitness, disciplined, and not prone to violence or emotional outbursts. They are, however, not tremendously skilled.
  • Most players play with the youth teams of their respective clubs.
  • Timing note: I am RPing this tournament as occurring alongside the Copa Rushmori.

Goalkeepers

1. Geirtryggur Levisson
12. Leon Bastiansson
13. Marcel Benjamínsson

Defenders

2. Ótta Andersdóttir
3. Petra Jalmarisdóttir
4. Jacopo Henriksson
5. Ísidór Arnosson
14. Marc Svanisson
15. Harald Leikisson

8. Rúbar Wernersson
10. Valto Pascalsson
11. Lia Benediktsdóttir

20. Rauni Laurinsson

Forwards

9. Julia Wolfgangsdóttir
21. Þórlaugur Jarfisson
22. Elektra Nicosdóttir
23. Florian Kristersson

The team will play a 4-2-3-1: in front of an orthodox back four, Valto and Lia provide width while Solbjørg and Rúbar sit in the holding role. Sara wears 7 but plays as more of a 10 with a free role linking up with Julia.

RP permissions:

Choose My Scorers: Y, see note below
Choose My Scorers From Free-Kicks/Penalties: N, use Sara for free-kicks and penalties

Godmod Other Events: N, but if you ask first I’m open to any roleplay angles you have in mind
Additional permissions:

Mavinet generally approach matches with an attacking mindset, pressing and attacking in fast tempo from the start. As a match proceeds, the team will continue to press high out of possession, but may fall back when faced with stronger and better attacking opponents. Mavinese attacking players are used to a fluid play style and will roam from their assigned positions during the match to look for space and opportunities. While not physically weak, Mavineses are relatively smaller in stature than other countries' people, so physicality is not their strong suit. Instead, they favor teamwork, speed, technique and movement off the ball to break down opponents' defense and create chances. The fluid style makes Mavinet's defense quite vulnerable to the exploitation of gaps. The defense relies on the ability of the defensive midfielder to cover the pockets of space in front of the defenders, but will usually struggle with quick counter attacks. In addition, Mavinet's defense is known for frequent lapses of concentration and poor decisions, especially toward the end of a match.

ROLES
Penalty takers (in order): Dang Thai Vu, Le Luong Thong, Dinh Trong Hieu, Do Tien Minh, Van Thanh Nhan, Doan Van Long
Freekick takers (in order): Le Luong Thong, Dang Thai Vu, Tran Huu Hung
Corners: Dinh Trong Hieu (right), Le Luong Thong (left)
Most likely to get booked: Van Thanh Nhan, Dang Thai Vu

Vinh An Inc., Mavinet's largest sportswear and sport equipment manufacturer, present the third-generation kits for the national team, incorporating several traditional patterns and symbols of the country. The kits also feature famous Pho Tranh traditional paintings, reimagined in digital form by artist Lam Xuan.

Away - desert gold shirts; gold shorts & socks - all with agave blue & white trim.

Often referred to by the nicknames Agave-Blues on account of their kit or Los Pitxileros [Transl. The Footballers], the Tequilo national team set-up approaches it's third cycle of the World Cup with some moderately impressive showings at all age groups but no real honours on the board as yet. Third-placed finishes in Baptism of Fire 72 and the last under-18 World Cup are the pinnacle of achievements so far, with a fourth-placed finish in their debut IAC also signalling some promise. The feeling is it may be time to start delivering on that promise for fear of settling in the bracket of good-ish, but not great or even simply never quite good enough - something most Tequiloa, a very relaxed kind of people, would be perfectly happy with but the Tequiloan FA, the Unión, having made such a fuss over the last few years and publishing so much about their great plans for world dominance, could not settle for, politically speaking.

A Brief History of Los Pitxileros

Señor Lepe, former footballing legend (in Tequilo) and now the head honcho at the Unión, will be gently urging these boys to give the nation hope for the future, and to place another foot on the ladder that leads to world domination. Not too much to ask of a sixteen-year-old kid, is it? Winger Pep Bellera, the exciting young prospect at Resplendiente, thinks not, with a shrug of his shoulders. "I don't know about all that," he says, in a pre-flight press conference, "I'm just going to The Commonwealth of Baker Park to play football and see what happens." Someone should get him to check his ticket. He won't be much use in the Commonwealth right now.

BACKROOM STAFF
Head Coach: Juan Manuel Botín, 37, former player for Motozintla, learning his trade with director Isaac Martí, apparently destined for moderatly good things.
Team Director: Isaac Martí, 57, head coach of the national team and former coach at Motozintla FC.
Coach: Callañuapa, 37, quiet and confident defensive midfielder in his latter playing days at Equipo Caimán, retired from the national team as a supporter’s favourite.
Coach: Terenzio Ramon, 44, much-admired coach at national champions Pitxi-Pitxi 77, enjoying his secondments to the national team youth set-up.
Team Captain: Tadeu Dantes, 18, already impressing in the first team at Unuiĝinta, he can be heard nattering positive invocations to his team-mates from the minute he gets off the team bus.
Vice Captain: Hector Hurtado, 18, a jewel in the development crown at moneybags Haïteins, where he has quickly risen to the starting eleven.

PLAYING STAFF
No one team dominates the selection policy for coach Botín with talent spread nicely across the country, but it is interesting to see that there has been a considerable increase in senior squad and starting players selected for this team, indicating that national league system is recognising young talent and fielding them earlier in their careers than ever before. Five players are already considered first team choices at their clubs while a further ten are numbered in their respective senior squad registrations. Pep Bellera gets the early nomination for legend status, and we hope he doesn't get targeted the way Jaïr Iscla did last time around when the Cassadaiguans mounted an all-out PR assault on the poor lad and he's not been the same since. Nadal Sanmartí, youth team coach at Resplendiente, says Pep is too laid back to be affected by any gamesmanship and won't get drawn into fighting for the sake of discriminatory barracking from the opposition.

RP Pointers

Most likely to get…

Poacher's tap in: Tadeu Dantes
20-metre screamer: Mani Quita
Applauded for fancy panenka: Urbano Noboa
Laughed at for bungled panenka: Máximo Lain
Jeered for over-exuberant celebrations: Minermo Ocamica
First minute booking: Hector Hurtado
Last minute winner: Connor Londo
Early bath for handbags: Zaquiel Abráldez
Stretcher to the tunnel: Narciso Pineiro
Blood-covered rag around head: Aristeo Bideluce
Tackle of the season: Osò Mëssî
Book of tactics for extra-curricular homework: Joan Bautista
A packet of sweets, a pat on the head, and excused from doing his homework for the night: Monné
Early nomination for legend status: Pep Bellera

The average Tequiloan has an exceedingly high SQ (shambolic quotient) meaning they are really very good at creating and thriving in chaos… they generally get things done, in a very roundabout and often nonsensical way, usually with an unbelievably high portion of luck. They are happy to lose, as long as it is in chaotic fashion - it's all about the journey, not the result. Apparently.

Always happy to collaborate - drop me a TG or call me out in RP (but maybe still drop me a TG in case I miss it…)

Another Introduction
Twicetagria, formerly known as Strayquestria and the Wolflands, is a country located in the western side(unofficial) of Atlantian Oceania. A humble population of about 23 million humans, sentient ponies, deities(mostly ancient Greek), werewolves, and vampires, Twicetagria is racially diverse. The de facto national languages include English, Twicetagrian Russian, ancient Greek and Latin, but there are 45 more known languages in Twicetagria.
Most of the Twicetagrian population lives in the huge, bustling metropolitan areas splattered throughout Twicetagria: Twice Square --the capital--, Alphaxrie(predominantly domesticated werewolves), Legothria and Sranchies(deities and demigods make up a large part of the demographics) and Velikiygrad, which translates to 'great city' in Twicetagrian English.
The monarchs of Twicetagria are the highly-revered High Queen Rarity V2. Tourists and foreigners are to abide by the rules set to respect any ruling power. The deities are mostly Roman or Greek gods who occasionally come and visit Twicetagria, due to ancient Greece and Rome having ties with us. There are also vampires who live in the Feruscian Highlands. They are a friendly and hospitable bunch, and their accommodation is usually 5-star. They speak English normally, but speak Romanian sometimes.

The Twicetagrian Football Team officially represents Twicetagria in men's international football since their maiden match in 202 P.Y. Their maiden international tournament competition, the AOCAF 60, was left unsuccessful. A disappointing BoF 72 finished off with a surprisingly successful WCQ85 and CoH, going to finish 4th in the former's group stage, and the Round of 32 in the latter. After that came a disappointing 2nd cycle, failing to impress in AOCAF 61 and WCQ86, while crashing out at the group stages of CoH 78. Most of Twicetagria's home matches are played at the Stray Kids Colosseum in Twice Square.

The Tactics Box
to be used to decide goalscorers
The Hitback Tiki-taka
This tactic is used when our defenders have won the ball from an (counter)attack, corner or goal. The attacking midfielders will be located just past the half-line, towards our goal. The defender who won the ball will then pass to the closest midfielder, usually the CM or CDM. He/she will then pass the ball to the striker or the attacking midfielders. They will then rush through to the goal. Passing the ball amongst each other, when they get the chance, they will strike.
- works when the back line is high up the pitch, or the opposing defense is caught slacking

The Pressuremaker
This tactic is used when the ball is intercepted or won in the middle third. The players will tire out the defense with quick play or passing. When the defense doesn't suspect anything, the ball will be passed to the wingers, who make a run along the flanks into the goal. The ball will be crossed into the box, where the other striker or attacking midfielder/winger will convert it into a shot.
- works late game when the back line is worn out

We don't particularly have tactics for balls won in the final third, or free kicks and corners. feel free to do your own thing.
These tactics don't have to be used by you if you don't want to. However, it is asked that you would, because it would make our play more realistic.

MEGISTIA INTERNATIONAL U-18

STYLE: +1.75

PRESIDENT: Jace Bernal
MANAGER: Jordi Leon
FITNESS COACH: Huxley Goodwin
GOALKEEPER COACH: Haiden Hamilton

Wilson BLACKWELL • GK • 14 APPS • 16 Y/O
The new U-18 goalkeeper after Becks hit 19 years of age, Blackwell has been doing consistently well, well enough to secure a place in the starting 11. Blackwell tends to focus on positioning and cracking down on opposition's shot options, which means that he comes out a lot. It's dangerous, but he's almost always secure on it.

Justin MEADOWS • LB • 4 APPS • 17 Y/O
Also a new starter, after playing well for the Sunshine Twilight, has been picked up by the youth national team. He is quick to the ball and a great dribbler, but goes down often.

Nicolas AVILA • CB • 7 APPS • 17 Y/O
Avila has always been a good player with a family history of sports; but not one of them had visited football, and he had done just that now. Avila is a sturdy and tall defender, who often gets the point of the card directed at him.

Tyler-Jay MCCAFFREY • CB • 8 APPS • 18 Y/O
McCaffrey is the oldest player on the Starting 11. Reaching only 5' 9", he isn't the most tallest defender, but he is surely one of the quickest to get back. He is good in 1v2 situations, blocking down many routes to team up with Blackwell.

JOSEFF Quintero • RB • 5 APPS • 17 Y/O
Joseff is a player great suited for free kicks and assisting moments. Blessed with a delicate yet sturdy and strong foot, Joseff is also amazing in corners, which he likes to either curve them in the net or go over the keepers head and cause chaos.

Daniel LUKOVIC • LM • 34 APPS • 18 Y/O
The type of player who'll run down the sideline with the ball, getting past everyone and then sending in a beautiful cross, Lukovic is quick and great with his feet. Now also playing for the national team, his schedule is packed up with World Cup 87 coming soon.

HOWARD Mitchell • LCM • 26 APPS • 18 Y/O
The strong player in the midfield, together with Vo and Jorgenson create the backbone in the midfield. He is more of a defensive player, but can be creative in the attack whenever he sees a chance.

Dylan VO • CM • 8 APPS • 15 Y/O
The youngest player on the squad, Vo looks forward to being a starter on the team. With his defensive style combined with his attacking gears, Vo can be a threat in any situation.

Roberto JORGENSON • RCM • 39 APPS • 18 Y/O
The captain of the team, Jorgenson is barely under 19, with only a few weeks to go till his birthday. His confidence combined with his quickness of play makes him a great captain.

Alberto CALIBER • RM • 3 APPS • 17 Y/O
A replacement of Cringan following his injury spanning most of the tournament, Caliber sets a goal for himself. The quick and strong Charonian will be looking to impress teams who are in a race for him in the Liga Interstellar.

Ben ROBERTSON • ST • 39 APPS • 18 Y/O
The star of the team, Robertson is a great goalscorer, setting a name for himself in many nations close to Megistos. His quick and powerful foot is also very skillful, and he sometimes puts up a show of goals which could entertain anyone.

Sarzonia Baby Stars

Manager: Tim Lankford (47)
Steps into the role as manager after Diogo Avarel resigned when he was ruled out for managing the Sarzonian national football team. Lankford brings a defensive sensibility to the Baby Stars and the team will take on that approach moving forward.
Assistant Manager: Joe Carson (43)
Carson was a midfielder in the Sarzonian Football Confederation prior to its relegation to the second level of the Sarzonian football pyramid behind the Cyanea Joint League. He will work with the midfielders.
Assistant Manager: Matt Lynch (36)
The longtime Stars striker is in his first role as an assistant manager. He will work with the forwards.
Goalkeepers Coach: Horace Sandt (39)
Sandt was the goalkeeper who backstopped the Stars lone World Cup championship. He'll work formally with this team in the unofficial capacity he has with his brother Carlton Sandt on the senior national team.

FORMATION / FORMACION
Image

STYLE OF PLAY / ESTILO DE JUEGO
Style Modifier: -0.75
Description: Unlike the senior team which plays attacking football, the under-18 team has a 4-5-1 defensive formation with focus on finding openings for counter-attacks. In some cases, a more attacking 4-3-3 formation is used, though they still focus on defense and keen on retaining ball possession. Similar to the national team, they also employ emphasis on attacks from the flanks, with their speedy side midfielders advancing to the wings when a counter-attack is initiated.

Most likely to:
Score penalties: Segura, Menor, Baltazar
Score a direct free kick: Pareja, Segura, Baltazar
Concede a penalty: Cid, Rayo, Erroz
Booked for short temper: Cid, Segura, Collar

OFFICIAL KITS / EQUIPOS OFICIALES
Provided by Harrokeria from Vallezul. Bring on the swag.
The underage football squads of Hispinas uses a different kit from the senior national team, usually, the kits used by the senior team will be handed down to them in case the kits get updated every 3 World Cups.
