In all the recent news, max barry is pushing people to embrace zombies. Why?

Seems like his panties are in a twist that he made a system so easily exploited to profit the living. :lol:

This event always peeves me because my population is always completely eradicated before I can actually participate. I actually avoid NS entirely around these events. I'm glad I get the option to ignore it, although if enough people ignore it maybe that's saying something to the devs.

If you read between the lines this is what he is doing:
He is mocking the leaders who have failed to prevent COVID-19 (especially a certain orange skinned President). At least that’s what I believe

He's parodying people who are denying the danger COVID. Insisting that it isn't that bad and that we should get back to normal now, or even just straight up denying that it exists.

Honestly? It's not hard to deny the humour. I was one of those looking forward to Z-Day this year, not wanting to shut it down due to COVID. Thinking Z-Day could be a nice pleasant distraction...something fun to participate in like it usually is. Instead...Z-Day turned into something that continually reminded me of the nastiness of our current situation, further depressing me. I stopped participating in Z-Day this year because of the emphasis on trying to poke fun at our current situation. It wasn't funny at all to me. I'm glad some people found it fun and enjoyable, but I definitely didn't. I enjoy this game as something to do as a release valve from real life. This was...the opposite from that. This attempt at parody may have been funny to some, but not to me.
