Fordin International Relations Bureau, Ethics Division, Committee on the Violation of the Rights of Sentient Beings.
It is the opinion of this ethics division, on this day of twenty-third October and on all other days, that the enslavement of one's fellow human beings or other conscious or semiconscious life-forms is morally detestable. The FIRB-ED-CVRSB hereby issues a formal condemnation on the following grounds:
i. that all people, no matter their race, gender, identity, class, etc. deserve to have a life equal to all others;
ii. that considering those nations throughout history which have utilized slavery, even the most democratic among them could never be free;
iii. that the enslavement of sentient beings is a stain and a scourge upon this world that must be wiped out through all possible means, and by every possible nation.
Due to the nature of this condemnation, the FIRB regretfully informs you all that any diplomatic ties with your nations that previously existed are now being severed, and all embassies (if existing) have been revoked.
This condemnation was issued by the Fordin International Relations Bureau, Ethics Division, Committee on the Violation of the Rights of Sentient Beings on 23 October 2087. If you wish you may file complaint form 658-CFpA, found at the nearest Fordin embassy or government building. It will be processed within one to three-hundred sixty-five business days. Thank you and have as nice of a day you can while living with the guilt of human suffering.
