Recollecting himself, Faisal says, "I mean, you can always tell her you can't spend time with her because it is forbidden in your religion. I'm sure she will understand. Make sure you don't say it very directly though. That may sound a bit rude."

Axel after seeing a missile in a nearby roofop fired to a helicopter he immediatly send some soldiers to kill the shooter and comments "well shit some of them are still alive ohh well more target practices " then an PALS AAV start firing it 15.2 mm heavy machinegun at the rooftop where the terrorist is spraying it with bullets until nothing in the rooftop until nothing remain Axel then said "pretty overkill but better safe then sorry i guess better"

Ari watched the helicopter above narrowly dodge something that streaked up from the ground towards it, trailing fire, and immediately turned on her heels and walked back towards the castle wall. "Nope, nope, not going up in that deathtrap, nope."

Patyughin rushed after her, worry on his face. "Come on, Ari. It's how we get out of here safe."

"I don't care. I'm staying right here and waiting for Christophe to poke his cowardly little head out of its hole. Then I can kick it in for letting this happen." Ari sat against the wall, crossed her legs, and pulled out her knife, flipping it idly.

Sighing, Patyughin sat down next to her and pulled his legs up close to his chest. When a concerned Swiss soldier approached, he waved him off, saying, "She's not going. Trust me, you won't convince her."

We were sitting in a little wooded area, even further away from the castle than before. With some elbow grease and sticks, I had managed to start a little campfire. Pentti was walking around, picking up tried leaves and lazily throwing them into the flames.

"You know, it was Beowulf who taught me how to start a fire without a lighter," I said. I was roasting a candybar I found in my pocket, melting the chocolate around it to create a sort of pseudo-smore, except without any crackers, and with miscallenous nuts and seeds instead of marshmallow.

"Bullshit," Pentti said, as he tossed another crumpled up leaf into the fire.

"Wanna bet?"

"No," he said with a light scoff. "I'm sure it's true. But it's still total bullshit."

He laid down on the ground, looking at me through the smoke. "It doesn't seem right, does it?"

"What doesn't?" I asked.

"To be able to just pop around space and time like this. It feels like cheating. Like we're noclipping through reality to avoid all the hard stuff."

I chuckled a bit. "Getting stuck in the middle of Nazi Germany doesn't seem like skipping the hard stuff to me," I said. By now, the candybar had melted, and the caramel glueing the nuts together was beginning to scortch, so I pulled it towards myself. I blew on it, trying to cool it before it could burn all of my remaining taste receptors.

"Oh, you know what I mean," Pentti said while staring at the clouds above. There weren't many, and the few flying that day were anemic, to say the least.

He took out his harmonica, and started to play. He did this a lot, Pentti. It started off with guitars, then moved onto a drum, and now, the harmonica. To be fair to him, it did get popular back home. Even now, if you start playing around a fire in Wuchu, several strange individuals will emerge from the nearest bush, and sit around with you, singing old Russian songs.

The music harmonised with the sounds of nature around us.

From all around came, "Agreed!"

"Well, get the chopper in here, and we're out."

The Abbeyvernian delegation climbs into the chopper and leaves the castle. Along the way, a few terrorists take potshots at the chopper, and receive return fire, generally resulting in their deaths.
