Is linking to archive sites on nsg against the rules? It would obviously help people read sources but idk if there is a copyright issue NS might not like.

Not really, quite a lot of times people link to NYT or the telegraph and then copy-paste what the source says. I'm just talking about a link to a website that does that (because for the story I want to link to I only have that URL.)
