Opel launches new Omega 3000 24V GT sedan


16 August 1988

New for 1989, Opel have launched the Omega 3000 24V GT here in Sweden.

Powered by the 3.0-litre/154hp tuned to 170hp, the 3000 24V GT is designed more as a sporty version, with it being offered in both saloon and Caravan (estate) bodystyles.

The 3000 24V GT looks more overtly sporting than the 3000 24V CD model it's based on; gaining sporty alloys, spoilers and a choice of four bright colours unique to this model.

Opel Sweden have yet to announce prices for this version.

Drivs av 3,0-liters / 154 hk inställd på 170 hk, är 3000 24V GT utformad mer som en sportig version, med den erbjuds i både salong och Caravan (kombi) karosserier.

3000 24V GT ser mer öppet sportig ut än 3000 24V CD-modellen den bygger på; får sportiga legeringar, spoilers och ett urval av fyra ljusa färger unika för denna modell.

Opel i Sverige har ännu inte meddelat priser för denna version.

Toyota Sweden to continue Toyota Corolla E80

The Toyota Corolla E80 is to continue for 1988 as the Corolla E80 Classic; it will be sourced from Japan.

It will have a new simplified range of 1.3 DX and 1.3 GL in five-door hatchback or four-door saloon models. The 1.3 DX model is sold only as a four-door saloon, with no hatchback counterpart.
