President Rodrigo Duterte Announces the Transition of the Age of Majority from 18 to 21 in the Philippines to Decrease COVID-19 Cases and To Decrease Underage Driving and Drinking in the Country. (SOURCE: Facebook)

Recently, THERE is no Statements from the Republic of the Philippines citing their Change of the Age of Majority in the Philippines.

But, The Policy for People aged under 21 Prohibited from Leaving their Homes are the Part of MECQ, GCQ and MGCQ Guidelines in the Philippines, Thus, There is no True Explanation that they've Chosen the Age 21 and Below to Stay at Home Instead of 18.

However, Explanation from the University of Royal Fatimania Professors Explained that Youth People are the Higher Risk to be Infected due to their Behaviour and Intention to Play (as Children). The Policy as cited By The Professors are too Over the Age of Majority in the Philippines, Which it is 18. However, Professors Recommend the Age 18, But it they are not Interested in the Age that they Choosen, The Government should Explain Politely to the Children about the Policy that they are Forbidden to Leave their Homes.
