Current RP Time: January 1st, 1952 - February 1st 1952

The Cold War was a time of destruction.
The world was constantly threatened by nuclear destruction, wars erupted. Countries were forced into capitalism or communism, with no In between.
Lead your country to greatness and rise to the top. With a world of ever advancing technology, the country you lead can become the next superpower.
Sitting under a desk with your hands on your head won’t protect you, but leading your country will.
Leading into glory after the strife of the Second World War,
Ladies and gentleman, the 3rd Cold War RP.

RULES

1. the allies defeated the axis and the central powers in both world wars.
2. No major history changes after 1900. Unless your country was colonised.
3. No Godmodding.
4. Armies must be at most 10 percent of your population. It would depend on your policies and world events.
5. Stay in the realm of realism.
6. No unjustified war. This means that you must state your wargoal as well as having a reason in your declaration of war.
7. Consider landscapes/geography and logistics.
8. You can only have one nation (unless it is a puppet nation or a colony)
9. If you win a war, you have the option to either annex their land, puppet their land, or annex some of their land and puppet the rest
10. when a group wins a war all nations of the winning side must be part of the peace treaty process
11. if you puppet a nation as a spoil of war the person who made the nation still is in charge of the nation, and can rebel against you (however most likely not for a long time)
12. All equipment and weapons can only be created the date they were created in irl time no earlier
13. you can control political parties in other peoples nations (with the consent of said nation)
14. you can only be a member of NATO if you are IRL. same goes with the warsaw pact unless you are communist
15. You cannot change your history/lore after it I accepted unless directed to do so by a op.

In December 1951, amid growing dissatisfaction with the British, the Free Officers Movement, led by Muhammad Naguib and Gamal Abdel Nasser, launched a coup d'état that toppled King Farouk I and brought his son, Fouad II, to the throne. A new constitution, that restricted the monarch to a purely ceremonial role, was drafted. It also meant the end of British informal rule over Egypt.

Sudan, which was ruled in condominium by Egypt and Britain, was formally annexed into Egypt, with the Egyptian army rolling in and negotiating a withdrawal of British administration. The British-Egyptian Agreement of January 1st, 1952 formalized the annexation of Sudan into Egypt in exchange for Egypt allowing the British to lease a number of military bases in the region.
