We hope that by joining this organisation, our humble kingdom may be able to sow the seeds to long-term prosperity and the resolution of territorial disputes in Jammu and Kashmir, Anarchual Pradesh, and Yuxu. Once again, our humble kingdom sincerely thanks your organisation for accepting us as your member.

Notice on the Admission of the Kingdom of Tibet and Kingdom of Bhutan

As of 27 August 2020, the Kingdom of Tibet and its associated state Kingdom of Bhutan were admitted into the organisation. Their militaries, namely the Royal Tibet Army and the Royal Bhutanese Armed Forces, shall be placed under the command of the Army Group West.

As of the publishment of this notice, the Kingdom of Tibet has the following territorial disputes with the South Asian Commonwealth and the Chinese Federation:

• Arunachal Pradesh
• Jammu and Kashmir
• Yuxu

The Kingdom of Bhutan has the following territorial disputes with the South Asian Commonwealth:

• Assam

From now on, the above-mentioned territorial disputes shall be considered parts of the Kingdom of Tibet and the Kingdom of Bhutan accordingly. It is therefore imperative that the SEATO Unified Command deploy forces to enforce these claims. Therefore, at the current stage, following discussions with the commanders of the various SEATO states, the following non-Tibetan and non-Bhutanese units shall be dispatched to enforce territorial claims:

Towards Tibet:

• 2,500 men from the Union of Burma
• 3,000 men from the Southwest China Commonwealth
• Not less than 500 men from each of the rest of the SEATO member states

Towards Bhutan:

• Not less than 250 men from each SEATO member state

Those deployed to the aforementioned state entities shall be under the direct command of either the Royal Tibet Army or the Royal Bhutanese Armed Forces. It is within reasonable doubt that the SAC and the CF are contemplating military attacks, therefore it is best that the deployment be done as quickly as possible.

Tibetan Army Remilitarises Nagqu and Qamdo, further provokes China

LHASA, Tibet - It is a joyous day in Tibet today, as the celebrations of being admitted to SEATO comes to an end. At the same time, in the cities of Qamdo and Nagqu, the Royal Tibetan Army marches into these cities, and manned the outposts that had been left empty for decades. These cities were designated demilitarised zones, after the partial defeat of Tibetan troops in the Sino-Tibetan War of 1965, the dishonour of which had not been forgotten by the Tibetan people. The Dalai Lama, in a recent interview, has stated that his motives of accepting to join SEATO is to consolidate the Tibetan foothold on the Tibetan Plateau, and reclaim the disputed territories.

This move, however, did not go unchallenged. Upon learning of this remilitarisation, Peking has been enraged. In a recent article published by their official newspaper Global Times, it was stated that "Tibet best know what it is doing, and immediately demilitarise Qamdo, Nagqu and all border regions with China. SEATO should also know that it has made a grave mistake in accepting Tibet in their organisation. Do not say we didn't warn you."

The threats of which, however, were met with ridicule, as SEATO refused demands of the removal of Tibet from the organisation. However, tensions are rising between the three most powerful entities in Asia. What will this lead to? The world holds its breath.

Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal
Declaration of Neutrality in the Conflict Between the South Asian Commonwealth and the Southeast Asian Treaty Organisation

We were brought to the attention that our neighbour the Kingdom of Tibet and their associated state the Kingdom of Bhutan were admitted into the Southeast Asian Treaty Organisation, a major geopolitical alliance. We were further alerted that this act has led to increasing tensions between the Southeast Asian Treaty Organisation and the South Asian Commonwealth. Having learnt of the latest developments, we hereby congratulate the Southeast Asian Treaty Organisation for obtaining new members, and we hope that the admission of them may bring their organisation to prosperity and freedom. However, the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal shall declare itself neutral between the two regional entities, but we shall retain the right to retract our neutrality if need be.

We were further alerted that the Indian Armed Forces, disregarding previous treaties, have massed troops in the disputed territories of Jammu & Kashmir, along with Arunachal Pradesh and the Nepali border. Nepal hereby strongly condemns these moves, and urges the Indian Armed Forces to disengage and respect any treaties. The Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal once again reaffirms its neutrality, but shall not be afraid to defend the nation when the need arises.

We hope that this message is well-received in the offices of both entities, and that a peaceful resolution to this conflict can be reached. The Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal shall continue to observe the situation closely.

Royal Government of the Kingdom of Tibet
Reinstatement of Conscription in His Majesty's Royal Tibetan Armed Forces

By royal order from His Majesty the Dalai Lama of Tibet, the Royal Tibetan Armed Forces shall reinstate limited conscription to defend our fair kingdom from the Chinese and Indian threats. Therefore, all Tibetan citizens born between Western Calendar dates 1 January 1998 and 31 December 2001 shall report to their nearest military institute on or before 30 November 2020.

The forces arrived at Kunming. They will spend about a week in Kunming to acclimatize to the high altitude of Tibet, during which time they will train in altitudes near 2500m just outside the city.

Three Taiwanese fishing vessels had been fishing here for the past week or so, doing it discreetly, as the government begun to crack down on fishing in the area. It was a cool and calm early morning, not many of the fishermen have awoken from their sleep. Those who were awake were either watching the sea as the orange sun rose above the horizon or preparing themselves a good morning drink to warm themselves.

Suddenly, a loud, whirring noise had suddenly made itself known. The buzzing awoke and startled everyone. Their navigation systems began to malfunction. The source of the mysterious sound came from about 500 metres away. A ring of orange and violet light emerged, through the ring, everything seemed normal. No one dared to go explore the area around the ring. The three ships started up their engines and hastily drove in the general direction they came from, fleeing from whatever had appeared.

“Sir, something odd is popping up on our radars.” One of the juniors watching the radar system mused with concern.

“Any idea what it is?” One of the lead officers in the area approached the officer’s station.

“No. I’m frankly not sure what’s happening either,” remarked the officer. “The blip just randomly appeared without any prior signs at around 0515.”

“Think it’s another one of those stealth aircraft?” The head questioned, his mind racking up any potential scenarios.

“No, sir. The appearance was too abrupt to be any form of craft. The signal appears to be large and stationary.” The officer promptly responded.

“Good work. I will notify the closest navy ships to create a perimeter around the anomaly. Report to me only.” The senior whispered, while pulling out a phone to notify his secretary that a few important calls needed to be made urgently.

A few specialists who specialised in studying the unknown across many fields of science and those who had dedicated their lives to studying anomalous objects like the Aeternium element and its isotopes’ many qualities and other things were quickly notified. The news spread sparked shock, joy and a whole host of other emotions among the residents of this blue marble. No event has ever happened on such a scale since the 1960’s Aeternium Arrival.

Many of the local scientists who were contacted were airlifted or flown to either Tacloban or the aircraft carrier close to the perimeter. Other Asian scientists also congregated or willingly flown themselves closer to study the object of interest. Those on the other 7 continents for any spikes in odd activity.

The anomaly was a big one. It was an oblong that eventually grew to a kilometre wide and 300 metres tall within 6 hours. Violet and orange light that acted almost like a liquid radiated from the anomaly.

Social media was abuzz with rumours, pictures and conspiracy theories about the anomaly. The media was all over it as well, with many international news networks scrambling their best reporters on the frontlines. As expected, the first primetime reports were all on the object.

The one question all of Earth’s inhabitants were thinking about was what this anomaly was.

Ms. Cheou Ting Po and her team of scientists had just landed on the aircraft carrier. Half of her team, including her, were to board a small coast guard boat and travel until a few hundred metres away from the anomaly. The others would coordinate from the aircraft carrier. Their goal was to analyse the light and the surroundings. The boat was hastily loaded with all the necessary equipment the team would need.

The team had collected quite a bit of data and the orange and violet material coming from the anomaly. Their best efforts to document any significant changes from results conducted from a survey of the area three weeks back yielded no results. Two things were noticeable, though. Waves still emerged from the anomaly, and gusts of wind were periodically spat out from what seemed to be within the anomaly. The other side is reporting the opposite, no wind changes were observed and waves seemed to go in to the anomaly.

Ting Po decided that getting closer would be the only way to find out.

The boat slowly rocked along the waves. But the waves became slightly stronger in intensity as they came closer. At a sufficient distance, whoosh. The boat was sucked in.

The anomaly transported them into what appeared to be the exact same spot. But there was one key difference. No Filipino and Malayan ships were there. The other researchers weren’t there either.

Could it really be?

Was what they were seeing true?

“It can’t possibly be.” Ting Po muttered.

It was a portal. To another world.

Suddenly, with a bright light, a ship from Philipinas and Malaya appeared on the South Sea, nearly smashing into a navy ship that was in the same spot. However, the ensigns they fly are foreign to Nacrad, as they do not exist in Nacrad's world.

"This is the Nacradian Navy, you have nearly struck us. Identify yourselves and your intentions."

A ship's horn bellowed at them. It was a military ship. While it did look familiar and similar to the tech that they had in the other world, the flags it flew were unrecognisable to them.

"This is the Nacradian Navy, you have nearly struck us. Identify yourselves and your intentions." The ship called out using the speakers outside.

"Grab me my megaphone. Do not point guns at them, we don't want to risk anyone dying." Ting Po instructed sternly.

Ting Po rushed to the small deck of the boat. The navy ship was rather enormous in comparison to the teeny vessel they had. She held up her one hand, and yelled into the megaphone with the other.

"We are an investigative team. We came from the opposite end of this portal. We are from the country of Pilipinas and Malaya on the other side." She yelled, hoping the ship would hear her.

"Uhhhh, roger that? Please state your country, regardless. Also, if you're wondering, you're approximately 100 kilometers from Kaohsiung," says the navy ship, through it's external speakers, "If you find out anything about this portal, feel free to share it with us."

Turning to face his colleagues, a navy sergeant said, "Damn, 2020 really be wildin', huh?"

"Huh, we seem to have teleported to a world similar to ours." observed one of the scientists onboard.

"That is very interesting, if there are other worlds like this, who knows how many other universes exist?" another colleague opined.

"Let's not theorise and instead focus on the situation at hand." Ting Po called out, her head facing away from the megaphone.

"I repeat, we are from the country of Pilipinas and Malaya. Now, if you'd like, we will head back into the portal and report our findings." Ting Po yelled, this time into the megaphone. "I'm not a diplomat, but it's likely our country is interested in learning about the inhabitants of this world. So we are probably going to come back here."

"It's approved as requested. If you do want to visit again, bring your passports," says the navy ship, still as puzzled but decided that they are not much of a threat, "I understand you're from Philipinas and Malaya."

The team of scientists went back. On the opposite side of the portal, the formation welcomed them. Their radio crackled and came alive.

"-llo? Is anyone receiving this message?" The cut-off message read aloud.

"Yes, we received the message loud and clear, will report immediately to the Sulawesi to discuss our findings." The driver of the boat responded immediately.

In the background, an audible cheer was heard. They didn't know yet whether it was because they were safe or rather, they found out what the anomaly was. Maybe a good mix of both. Either way, it was pretty good to be back on a familiar world.

The whole team was immediately airlifted to the Sulawesi. There, they were quickly scanned for anything remotely odd that the sensors could possibly pick up. All the tests came negative. Blood samples were taken from all of them as well. The results of those would come back in a few hours. They were also told to shower and rinse as best as they could to remove any possible contaminants, a fresh change of standard military or their own packed clothes were provided to all.

After the litany of processes they were ordered to do, they were escorted to the ship's meeting room. It seems all the commanders and captains who ran point were present. The ambience of the room was rather homey, with an automatic fireplace on one end and a telly right across that.The corners had a potted plant each. The floor was made of hardwood, probably something sustainably harvested from the permitted plantations in Malaya. The walls were a greyish-white paint job with wooden shelves full of books or folders about a whole host of things they probably shouldn't be privy to. This clearly seemed like the nicest room in the ship, the rest focused on practicality, while this one had a slight splash of pomp.

On the telly was the Prime Minister and a few select members of his cabinet. The scientists immediately recognised a few of the of faces on the screen as fellow members in their scientific field. All the room were staring at them and invited them to sit in the remaining seats. The lower members of the team were ordered to stand.

"So what did it feel like going inside the anomaly?" ,one of the scientists inquired.

"None of us felt anything odd when going in. The only noticeable difference was that the radio we had on us immediately stopped broadcasting the local frequency and just died. The other side was an ocean, and there was a navy ship likely guarding the area." ,Ting Po replied.

"A navy ship? So you went into a portal to another part of our world?" ,Ms. Reotutar, the Home Minister questioned.

"No, in fact, the ship reported itself as Nacradian. No one calls themselves by Nacradian in this world. Additionally, the ship mentioned that we were 100 kilometres away from Kaohsiung, we all know Kaohsiung is Filipino and Malayan territory." ,Ting Po reported.

"The ship looked like it could pass as one from our world. Similar technology and all that stuff." ,one of her colleagues chimed in.

"They spoke English as well." ,Ting Po added.

"So you chanced upon a portal to an alternate Earth dimension?" ,the Prime Minister asked, his expression looking completely perplexed.

"So it seems. It seems they are open to finding out more about us, the ship's presumable captain called for us to bring passports the next time we came through." ,another member of the research team remarked.

"Mhm. I want us to find out about what the world is like on the other side of the portal. I believe this idea is shared by almost everyone in this meeting, especially they didn't seem to confrontational at all." ,Sarah Tan, the Foreign Affairs Minister announced.

"For now, keep this whole thing under wraps. Don't tell anyone outside of this meeting about this until the Prime Minister can do a proper press conference and contact the appropriate world leaders about the situation." ,Media Minister Chloe Tinquico. "Meeting adjourned."

"I was just about to tell you to do so, you know. Tell the admiralty about this, I'm sure they'll take care of it."

The anomaly we were ordered to investigate, in fact, leads to an alternative universe not unlike that of ours. A civilian ship carrying people who claim to be scientists had come through briefly, and had retreated. The technology seem to be similar to those of ours. The ship bore insignia from the country of "Philipinas and Malaya", which does not exist in our world, however they seem to be able to easily speak in English.
