Camp Krešimir: Greater Drejveškan Union HQ (GDU/Markion/In.)

Postby Sjovenia » Thu Aug 20, 2020 12:50 pm

Camp Krešimir, GDU Headquarters

Image

Camp Krešimir is the Headquarters for the Greater Drejveškan Union (GDU). It is located on the north western side of the Lietukro Offshore Island, known as Rokovo Island, facing the Lietukro District of Slaveška (Sjovenia). Once a bustling resort it had been taken over by the State Administration and designated its current role. Camp Krešimir also referred to as Krešimir Resort sits on government controlled and protected acres. Featuring state of the art security and an underground bunker this former resort is a fitting location. Centralized between all members of the GDU for easy access it not only boasts conference rooms and auditoriums but houses rooms, recreational areas, and a landing strip. Access to the Camp is only allowed with proper authorization be it land, air, or sea.

the PNA jet landing near Camp Krešimir.

A large jet brandishing the emblem of the Parenese National Assembly landed in the facility's designated landing strip, and from it came out the delegations of Danlina, Uribill, Telroi, and Parentell. The four delegations arrived at the island in preparation for the summit that was being held on the topic of Tyrian expansionism in Krežnosk. The delegates were welcomed in the entrance of Camp Krešimir with a polite "Lokedolžé", Parenese for "welcome", and were checked for their IDs and authorizations before being accompanied by Slaveškan staff to the conference hall.

Each delegate found a place to sit in their delegation's designated places, and started preparing for the summit that is to start in a few hours. The delegation that had the most to prepare for was the Danlinian delegation, who were going to represent the Parenese bloc's suggestion for a resolution and carry out the opening statement.

A Phoenixian Government Etsch 332 landed on the tarmac at 'The Resort,' as it was called. Inside the plane was a delegation of four, Kjel Mänstrom, the Phoenixian delegate to the GDU, Octavia Lœrner, Mänstrom's assistant and secretary, Eilina Krakov, the Foreign Ministry director of Pan-Krežnoski Affairs, and Tićo Milonić, representative of the War Ministry.

Everyone knew what the vote was about, and they were optimistic of the results. If it hadn't turned out, then they had their argument well planned. For now, they waited for the delegates of Treko and Slaveška.

Camp Krešimir, Sjovenia

As the Goliner 345 touched down on the runway outside of Camp Krešimir, Teysa began to collect her things. The invite from the GDU to the Aelian Allies, almost seemed to have come out of left field. But after looking over the details, and the fact it covered a common concern, it was only right that the Allies accepted the invite to join in. So here Teysa was plucked from her month long vacation, to fly to another region, and to observe, as it was told to her.

She let out a small sigh. At least this was at a former resort. She could soak up some sun on her downtime and maybe still enjoy her vacation. "Hell. I'm here on the Crowns dime. I'll make the most of it." She said, as her plane taxied to the terminal.

She did not wear her Knights Uniform, figuring she was only doing work when at the meet and still on vacation when not. So she just wore a simple yellow sundress with some flats. she smoothed out her short black hair, and made sure to fix her the two long bangs that she used to frame her face.

The main door of the plane was pulled open and Teysa grabbed her handbag and made her way out. The small airport seemed to be busy, and she scanned the area, before her eyes fell on a sign that just had the JVP flag on it. She made her way to it, and greeted the Sjovenian male.

"I'm Teysa, the JVP rep." She watched as the man looked at her and then to his sign. "Well shit." She said. She knew the Aelian common was little different then the Markion Common, and her accent made it even hard for normal Aelians to understand her common. So she just pointed at the sign, and then at herself and this time the man seemed to have understood, as he folded the sign up and motioned toward baggage claim.

Teysa smiled and followed the man, who seemed to steal long glances at her. She figured he was checking her out, as the dress clung to her slender frame, but she caught his eyes looking at her face, mainly at her chin. It finally hit her that these people would have never met a Nutk before, so the tattoo that ran down under her lower lip and down her chin, must be something new for him. She laughed at thinking the guy was just checking her out, then she caught him winking at her, and realized he was just looking at the full package. She rolled her eyes and collected her bags.

Slaveskan Honor Guard receives guests at Camp Kresimir

A small regional jet landed at the air strip in Camp Kresimir and was taxiing to a designated spot on the tarmac. After the jet shut down its engines and the door opened a GDU welcoming party stood at rest lining both sides of the walkway. As soon as the Slaveskan delegation arrived at the doorway fo the aircraft the GDU Honor Guard, comprising of Phoenixian, Slaveskan, Trekkish, and Parentellian Armed Forces members of differing branches, snapped to attention and saluted.

The delegation comprised of the Command General of the Armed Forces, Duro Marinkovič, Chairman of State Interior, Tereza Svetina, Chairman of Foreign Affairs, Drago Zevnik, and the Slaveskan Representative to the GDU, Ivo Tušek. Command General Marinkovič saluted back before stepping off the plane followed by the rest of the delegation. At the end of the walkway a car waited to take the delegation to the main building at Camp Kresimir. It was here that the first official Greater Drejveskan Union Summit was taking place.

Currently present was the Phoenixian, Parentell, and Slaveskan delegations with a confirmed Trekkish delegation on its way and an invite extended to both Janissian and Stravene Observers, as well as JVP Advisors. Amongst the issues to be discussed at the Summit Tyria was at the top of the list. Followed by the outcome of the Cousins War and determining the stance the Stravene Government would have with the aftermath of the war. Naturally an invitation to join the GDU would be extended.

Vesna Kováčová
Trekkish Delegate
Camp Krešimir, Sjovenia

I clutched my arm rest with an iron grip as the plane began to descend towards the Camp Krešimir runway. Flying always made me nervous and I usually preferred making my way to meetings via driving or taking the train. However, neither car nor train could reach Camp Krešimir, so I had to accept my damnation and take the flight. As the plane made its descent, I saw the beauty of Camp Krešimir below me, however, after that initial glimpse I closed my eyes until I could feel the jets wheels touchdown on the runway. I gave a sigh of relief as I unbuckled myself and collected my briefcase before exiting the jet.

Upon exiting, there was already a small contingent of Slaveskan representatives to greet me. These representatives were flanked on either side by an honorary color guard that held the Phoenixian, Slaveskan, Trekkish, and Parentellian flags. It was a nice touch. After the formal greetings and small talk, I was escorted down a walkway where a car awaited me. As I stepped into the car the door was politely closed behind me. After situating myself I nodded to the driver who nodded to me via the rear-view mirror before taking off to the main Camp Krešimir facility.

The views on the way to the main Camp Krešimir facility were absolutely stunning. However, my eyes were drawn to the beach. Perhaps, If I were lucky and the meetings ended before the allotted time, I could visit the resort's beach and enjoy something here. My thoughts of enjoying the beach were thrown to the back of my mind as the car pulled up to the front entrance of the main Camp Krešimir facility. As the car parked in front of the entrance, a guard walked forward and opened the door for me. I nodded graciously to the guard as I exited the car. I fixed my forest green uniform before grabbing my briefcase which still sat on the car seat and heading inside.

Hotel Krešimir

"Oh my god," Octavia grumbled, "are we just going to stay in the room this whole week?" She set down her phone and looked over at Eilina, who was looking over papers in her bed.

"Hon, I've been working at the ministry for 12 years. I don't think we're going anywhere except for the GDU assembly building," Eilina looked over at her younger counterpart, "When did you get this job for Kjel?"

"Like... six months ago? Right after I got out of college," she sighed and pointed out the window, "Honestly though! Look at that blue water. We should go to the beach. Just have some fun before the summit. Don't be a downer on me!" a youthful smile engulfed her face.

"Okay, fine. We can go for a couple hours before the opening night of the summit," Eilina packed all her papers neatly into a manila envelope.

Octavia pulled her bright red bikini out of her suitcase. "Did you even bring a swimsuit?" she asked as she walked into the bathroom to change. Eilina said she did in fact have a swimsuit. She quickly put on her bikini and put up her light dirty blonde hair into a messy bun. "You going to get changed?"

"Yeah," Eilina got out of her bed and pulled a rather modest two piece swimsuit out of her bag. When she got out of the bathroom, it looked like Octavia already left. "That stupid girl ditched me already."

Tićo

Tićo was on his way to the beach as well, wearing a cut-off sleeveless shirt and a pair of cargo shorts. He was going to meet up with a few friends who were stationed here. He ran into The GDU delegate's secretary, he forgot her name, but she was smoking hot. "So, how is your stay here?" he said in Phoenixian.

"Oh, it's good. It just got a little boring, so I'm going to the beach, what about you, uh... Tićo?" the elevator door opened.

"I'm going to the beach to see some friends, actually. Wanna come with me," he finally remembered her name, "Octavia?"

"Yeah, that would be interesting." On the beach was a whole bunch of different personnel from all the different countries of the GDU, they were probably all on rec. They did all have something in common, they were eying her. Then she saw the pile of Marines they were going towards. None of them had shirts, and they were all wearing their PT shorts.

"Ayyy! Tićo, where have you been brother?" One of them came up and gave Tićo a strong hug. "You know, been working the Ministry a bit. And don't even give me shit about working a cushy job, Jordan! You drew real lucky with a station like this," Tićo laughed.

"Oh shit dude, I know. Anyways, who is that?" Jordan pointed at Octavia.

"Uh, she is a part of the delegation. Wanna introduce yourself?" Tićo looked back at her.

"Hi, I'm Octavia. Nice to meet you," she held out her hand.

Camp Kresimir, Rokovo Island, Slaveska

Adriana Novia stepped off the plane and into the beating sun. Rokovo Island was beautiful and though the sun peered out behind partly cloudy skies the weather was not nearly as warm as it was in Janissero. Adriana arrived from Janissero as an observer to the GDU on behalf of the Janissian Parliament. As she walked down the walkway the International GDU Honor Guard stood at attention. She waved her hand as if to signal to the Honor Guard to return to parade rest but the disciplined group stood still.

Upon reaching the end of the walkway she was received by a chauffeur in a black car. Once seated inside the driver said "Welcome to Slaveska! Welcome to Camp Kresimir" in near perfect English. Slaveskans had three national languages consisting of Slaveskan, Bajveskan, and English while Janissero had two. The two languages consisting of Janissian and English, the language barrier tended to be a bit problematic for Slaveskan troops stationed in Janissero but this was alleviated by the bridge that was English. Likewise Janissians often struggled with native tongue Slaveskan words.

Adriana smiled and said "Thank you, it's not my first time in Slaveska but it is my first time on Rokovo Island." The car departed the tarmac and made its way to the newly formed Greater Drejveskan Union Headquarters...

Command General Duro Marinkovič
Camp Kresimir, Rokovo Island, Slaveska

The Command General Marinkovič finished settling into his room. The flight was not crazy long coming from the Capital City of Sovija but the bed was looking mighty comfortable. Marinkovič shook the thought out of his head as he looked out the window. The waves gently lapped onto the sand and a cool breeze blew. On the beach he could see some members of the Phoenixian Delegation running around amidst the crowd sticking out like a sore thumb. Frowning Marinkovič looked at his watch and muttered to himself, "We've got less than an hour before the summit starts..."

His voice trailed off as some one knocked on the door. Still holding his arm extended in front of him he looked back at the door. Turning around he looked through the peep hole to see Drago Zevnik standing outside. "Pravočasno!" he said as Drago's face lit up into a smile. "General Marinkovič, I thought we should grab some coffee and head into the Assembly." Marinkovič nodded, " Yes yes, let's go. I can do with a bite to eat as well." the General and the Chairman for Foreign Affairs made their way down the hall towards the elevator.

, readjusting any flaws from the flight over. Once everything was in order, she took a quick show and got dressed. She looked over herself in the mirror, and worked on her greeting in Markish before a knock came to her door.

She crossed the large suite she was in, and opened the door. Being greeted by two individuals, Both Slaveskian, One male, one female. The Male wore what she figured to be the standard military dress uniform. She remembered seeing some people wearing them when she made her way to the hotel. The Woman was dressed in general business attire.

"Greeting." The Woman said, speaking Vedorician to her. "I'm Jolanka. I'll be your translator. This is your bodyguard Leon Mihevc. He'll be escorting you to and from your room every night." She looked as the man nodded. "The Hotel is very safe, but we take the safety of all delegates to heart."

Tesya looked at the two, and nodded. "Thank you Jolanka." She replied back in her native Vedorcian. She was very happy to have been assigned a translator, as the auto translating device she was given was not fun to wear.

"So. I take it you two are here to take me to the meet?" She watched Jolanka nod. "Wonderful." She said, grabbing her fold and small bag. " Lets go."

The walk to the meeting hall was very eventful, as Mihevc, spoke with her about the history of the island. He spoke in his Regional common, which was easy to pick up.

"So Rokovo Island was dubbed “The Fortress” as it was a strategic military location." He waved his hand as to imply the strategic-ness of this location. He talked a little about the naming of the island and canal war.

Tesya, a general lover of history, enjoyed the tells of the brave Admiral Krešimir, and his final naval battle against the Trekkish navy.

"Such a rich history, this land holds." She finally said, and was rewarded with a thank you ma'am.

The rest of the walk was filled with more historical tidbits about the islands resort days, and history on the Sjovenia as a whole. The talking was ended with Mihevc recommending that she try the local fish dishes. She smiled to him and thanked him for the information, and that if he was up for it, he could show her to a few places. Then her and Jolanka entered the meeting hall, leaving her guard outside with the other.

It was at this point that she remembered why she was here, as she looked over the large room with flags lining the wall.

Stravene, Anapol, & Anaslav Delegations Arrive At Camp Krešimir

The journey was finally over. We had arrived. The GDU had finally begun to build an international organisation properly and now had a headquarters. This could soon be the centre of political, economic and military power in Drejveška, alternatively, it could simply be a passing union for show. With the initial lack of action in Phoenixia against Tyrman aggression, the GDU had a moment of weakness, this new show of force might tip the public view of the Union, better yet it may even be respected by other international powers such as the Kamooko Pact and the Empires of Markion. The GDU attempted to hastily assist in the war against the new communist bloc, a ghost from the past known as the New Liberated Free Nations, however, this attempt to stop the war from growing out of control could be seen as a minor failure on the GDU's part, receiving international backlash from their massive invasion and Treko's intentional attack on the capital city of the NFLN with a chemical weapon.

The GDU was in a peculiar spot. They had made grave mistakes in their first actions but were rapidly trying to change their image with some success. However, much of this did not matter to the far smaller military alliance of the remnants of Stravel, Anapoltania, and Anaslovakia. We needed their support, their manpower and their equipment. We will not sit around like some Calendorian aristocrat waiting for the world to solve its problems and retake its nations. The Coalition Defence Pact would fight back with all its might even if it did not get GDU support, we would find support elsewhere... whatever it took.

"Goidemar, let's go. We should be prepared before anyone else and early, I want these pricks to pay close attention to us. If they don't take us seriously then you'll likely be off to Sevevill." Goidemar Horkov, the Stravene representative, looked at Dima Limutzsivka, the Anapol of the delegation, with his emotionless face, keeping his poise. "Of course, just thinking about how this event will go." The pair gathered their things and began to make their way off the plane, provided to them by Sjovenia while Stravel continues to struggle in its war against the communists. On their way out they walked into Selkov Kamatz, the Anaslav attache to the delegation. "Ready for disappointment, boys?" Goidemar tilted his head at the question, his face unchanged. "We've not yet begun and you expect failure, how are we supposed to command victory with this attitude?" Selkov looked unamused, "my government is simply being realistic, we've already sent people to Vilhala, perhaps they will be more concerned about the communist threat."

Goidemar rolled his eyes and continued on. The CDP would have their nations back at any cost, but that did not mean they enjoyed working together. The sooner this relationship was over, the better.

The Phoenixian Delegation

"I mean, fuck. Eilina, you were supposed to keep an eye on this girl, and the summit starts in half an hour," Kjel was fuming with anger as he straightened out his suit.

"I told you, Kjel. She kept insisting to go to the beach, only god knows where she is now, along with Tićo," Eilina picked up her several folders and opened the door to find Tićo and Octavia. "Where the hell have you two been? Get your damn clothes on! And Tićo, I would expect better time management from a military man like you. You should be ashamed of yourself," she looked back into the room and yelled, "Kjel, they're here!"

"Sorry, Eilina I lost track of time," Octavia attempted to explain, but she was met with an, "I don't care," from Eilina. She went into the bathroom with a suit bag, inside was a beautiful blue dress, but it most definitely isn't one she would wear to a party, this one was business formal. She finished it off with a nice set of black heels.

Tićo went in after Octavia and put on his sand blue marine fatigues with cap and white belt. He continued with a quick wash of his face and then slipped on his well polished cavalry boots, and he was out. Everyone then went out the door to the elevator, and walked all together to the summit building.

Start of the Summit

Postby Danlina » Tue Aug 25, 2020 2:36 am

The conference hall of Kamp Krešimir was full with the many delegations that arrived to discuss the various topics on the floor. A roll call was taken to see that all the delegations have arrived and that they don’t miss any delegates.

“Anapoltania?”
“Present and observing”

“Anaslovakia?”
“Present and observing”

“Danlina?”
“Present and voting”

“The JVP?”
“Present and observing”

“Janissero?”
“Present and observing”

“Parentell?”
“Present and voting”

“Phoenixia?”
Silence had fallen in the room.
The chairman cleared his throat and reapeated himself louder and closer to the microphone.
“Phoenixia?”

The Phoenixian delegation stormed through the entrance of the confrence hall, Eilina walking in the front with a very uncomfortable smile on her face. “Sorry for being late, we had some stuff to take care of first” she said, throwing an angry glare at Octavia and Tico who were walking behind her, still with the same forced smile. “Hopefully this won’t happen again?” asked the chairman, and this time it was Kjel’s turn to wear a fake uncomfortable smile. “Of course it won’t happen agian…”
The Phoenixian delegation made their way to their places, trying not to attract any extra attention. When they finally sat at their places, the chairman said “Alright, now lets do this again. Phoenixia?”
“Present and voting,” Eilina said.

After this sudden interruption, the roll call was resumed.

“Slaveska?”
“Present and voting”

“Stravel?”
“Present and observing”

“Telroi?”
“Present and voting”

“Treko?”
“Present and voting”

“And Uribill?”
“Present and voting”

And so the roll call has elapsed, and the summit has officially started with the first topic on the floor: The Tyrian question.

The topic has been brought foreward to the GDU’s attention by the bloc of Uribill, Parentell, and Danlina, and so the delegate of Danlina has been chosen to carry the opening statement on the matter.

Danlina’s GDU delegate, Mark Gvarcesky, stood up from his seat and walked towards the front of the hall. There, he put his paper file on the podium and started reading out his opening statement:

“Honorable members of the Greater Drejveskan Union, and distinguished guests who have come to observe our summit,

“Over the past few months, the imperialist nation of Tyria has proved itself to have alarming intents in the region, showing political and financial support to radicals and terrorists in the fellow GDU member nation of Phoenixia. Their actions of supporting different terrorist organizations in the region have resulted in the deaths of countless people, including two Phoenixian senators and more recently king Artur II of Phoenixia, may his soul rest in peace.

“As of now, Tyria has been condemned by members of the Parenese National Assembly and by the extra-regional nations of Rhamos and the JVP, but as the prominent multi-national organization in Drejveska and Krežnosk we should take a stance on the matter and oppose the Tyrian influence.

“For these reasons, I, together with my fellow Uribillian and Parentelli delegates, strongly suggest that the Greater Drejveskan Union enact immediate sanctions on Tyria.”

After carrying his statement, Gvarcesky asked his assistants to pass around copies of the suggested sanctions bill to the other delegations to read, and when they finished doing so they nodded towards him. He nodded back, and started reading out the suggestion.

We, the delegates of Danlina, Uribill, and Parentell, hereby call upon the GDU to condemn the Empire of Tyria by taking the following measures:

  1. Enact a complete trade embargo on the Empire of Tyria, that will be lifted once Tyria provides proof that it fulfilled the following terms to their fullest extent:

    • Cut any and all support to groups the government of Phoenixia considers to be terrorist organizations.
    • Demilitarize all Tyrian and Tyrian-backed forces in Zeknija and Jelenia.
    • Limit Tyrian military presence in the colony of Markionian Tyria to a degree agreed upon by the GDU members, as strict as it may be.

If the Empire of Tyria does not agree to these terms, the GDU will enact a military blockade on the colony of Markionian Tyria.

  2. Release an official statement of condemnation in the name of the GDU as a whole, listing the following reasons to let the international community in Markion know of Tyria’s actions:

    • The Empire of Tyria has shown support to several known Jelenik terrorist organizations within Phoenixia.
    • The Empire of Tyria has been meddling in Phoenixia’s internal politics by bribing members of the Phoenixian PIJ party (Parti d'Interežen Jelenika).
    • The Empire of Tyria has been growing its imperialist military presence in Krežnosk and is highly suspected by the GDU to be preparing for further armed conflict in the region.

  3. Appeal, in the name of the GDU as a whole, to other multi-national organizations in Markion such as the KP and ASAF to condemn and sanction the Empire of Tyria.

After he finished reading the suggestion, the chairman thanked him and stated that the floor is now open for questions and amendments.

Tico stood up as was scheduled to account for Tyrian war crimes he had gathered and witnessed. "I speak today, delegates of the GDU, on the matter of war crimes committed by the Empire of Tyria on Žeknijan soil. At the beginning of the withdrawal, I was at OP Kesseat, along with the rest of the 4th Marine Recon Group and Company Black of the 1st Sturmbrigade. As the tyrians moved deeper into the border, we took direct fire multiple times on my account. In the two weeks before we left and torched the place, seventeen Sturmbrigadiers were dead along with nine Marines. My next post was OP Jakovi, outside of Atserna," he said pointing at a map which was being filmed and put on a large projector screen.

"At Jakovi, it wasn't us getting killed. Believe it or not, it was women and children. We got there the morning after a large bombing campaign on the city. A little boy, who was covered in dust and had a streak of dried blood on his forehead came running up to us as we were marching. He was holding out his hands and saying 'candy! candy!' I handed him the hard candy I had to prevent dry mouth, he got the biggest grin on his face and said, 'Gratež, army man!' He then ran back to his mother yelling, 'Makhje, Makhje! Look what the army man gave me!' Of course, I couldn't expect to see them all in spirits this good."

"Many of them throughout the day were being carried on stretchers, or for the more fortunate ones, pickup trucks to the field hospital which was a few blocks down the road. Some of the trucks were filled to the brim with civvies who were just barely alive from the bombings," he showed pictures on the projector of what he described. "If you know what is good, you will support these sanctions to take down the Tyrian regime."

Phoenxia wrote:Tico stood up as was scheduled to account for Tyrian war crimes he had gathered and witnessed.

He was holding out his hands and saying 'candy! candy!' narrowed his eyes at the Phoenxian delegation. To think that these devils could stand here and talk about the crimes of others. He had seen the wrath of the Phoenxians, the villages they burned, the women... He pushed away the thoughts of what they did to the women. Better yet, he pushed the thoughts of the cursed devils from his mind. Like his father Alaudin had fought the Phoenxian scum, and like his father, Alaudin cheered as the Phoenxians ran from his homeland, tail between their legs.

The true threat now was the Tyrians, who felt they could now invade on Žeknijan land. This Tico knew nothing of what was going on, another dog with his head low and tail stuck up his ass. Alaudin had to ball up his fist to let his anger fade away.

He turned his eyes from the devils, and looked around the room. The GDU, a new upstart, but one that showed promise. Their focus on the Drejveškan lands, from foreign and Imperial powers, spoke deeply to the Žeknijan, who, with the help of the GDU, now had their nation. the Žeknijan State. Alaudin cried like a baby when it was formed, and wished his father was here to see it. But it was not the GDU alone that helped, as his eyes fell on the representative from the JVP. An Imperial Empire from another region. Their dealing in Phoenxia had spilled over to the Žeknijan people, and working together with the GDU, helped to form the nation he wished to hand down to his children's children.

Odd for a foreign power, and for one that was also an Imperial, to help out such a nationless people. Still, it seemed that the other Aelian empire was not there. The Rhamos, who held a close border with his nation, and it seemed their grudge with Tyria had moved them to build up the Žeknijan state.

Anyways, Alaudin's attention was snapped back to the scum of Phoenxia, as he finished his sap story about giving candy to wounded kids, and then he stood.

"Brothers and Sisters of the GDU. The Tyrian attack on the peaceful people of Žeknijan, is more than just what some Phoenxian has witnessed. The lands the Tyrians had once occupied in our new lands, have been teaming with stories, too harsh to speak of in mixed company. But the women of the area will never be the same." He paused and looked around the room. "My people are only wise to rebuild, after the dogs of Phoenxia ran home, tails between their legs, and we must deal with the wolves of Tyria, who think us easy prey. My people have entrusted me to come here and do one thing, and that one thing is to support the Sanctions against the Tyrian Imperial scum. Žeknijan stands." He shot a piercing glare at the Phoenxians. "And we stand strong and united." He then took his seat.

After the Žeknijan delegate finished speaking and went back to his seat, the chairman asked if there are any other delegates wishing to voice their support or lack thereof. As no one responded, the chairman proceeded to start voting on the matter.

"We will now be voting on the Danlinian delegation's proposal for a sanctions bill on the nation of Tyria and its colonies."

"Danlina?"
"For"

"Parentell?"
"For"

"Phoenixia?"
"For"

"Slaveska?"
"For"

"Telroi?"
"Abstained"

"Treko?"
"For"

"And Uribill?"
"For"

With six votes for and one abstained, the sanctions bill has passed. From now on, all members of the GDU are to refrain from trade with the Empire of Tyria, and depending on Tyria's willingness to corporate, a naval blockade on Markionian Tyria might take place in the near future.
