Vozh Celebrates 104th Anniversary of Independence Declaration

Vozh celebrates her one-hundred-and-fourth year of sovereignty today, with massive parades in major cities like Homel, Mohilev, Tit'esk, and Bloemfontein. Citizens of every ethnicity and creed turn out to commemorate more than a century of liberty.

Over the course of the brutal two-year struggle for independence, more than 293,000 people were killed on both sides. Many more child abductees were taken to orphanages in Atmora and never returned. Over the course of the last century, Vozh has struggled to make amends with Atmora; a task greatly inhibited by the total devastation incurred in the 1940s Great Patriotic War. However, today the two nations enjoy cordial relations; with bustling commercial activity between them. Members of the Atmoran royal family are even rumoured to be in attendance at the High King's private celebration in the Crystal Palace.

Aellyrian economy on the rise!

Economists here in Kiev are excited to report that Aellyria may be coming out of it's recession! After nearly a decade of a slow grinding economy this past year has seen foreign investments rejuvenate the economy and bring the unemployment rate down to four percent an unprecedented low. Many industries are still relying on government subsidies however but we at the daily broadsheet hope that with lowering prices that many of those struggling industries may be able to be successful once again.

The traditional Aellyrian industries of ship building and fishery are of course thriving even in these hard times. Many trades are attracting many young men and even some young women to them with ease as they offer wonderful salaries and show a pride in Aellyrian culture that many never thought the younger generation would have. With nationalism on the rise and pride in being a subject of the Tsar, we can only hope that we can build a world where everyone is successful.

Hresvelg Win Election Landside!

Chancellor Hresvelg has won the 2015 federal elections in an electoral landside taking 300 seats in the House and 50 seats in the Senate. Hresvelg had gained 70 seats in the Hosue since the 2010 Federal elections, and 9 seats in the Senate. Many contribute the success of Hresvelg Conservative Party to the growing economy and her approach on foreign relations. Most notably her ambitious megaprojects in the Castarcian Channel and in the Halkeginian Sea. Along with her $4 billion megaproject deal with Kiev to help improve and bolster the Aellyrian economy. The other project is the Halkeginian Undersee Tunnel that will finally connect Asvarre with the mainland, expecting to cost $5 billion in construction. $1.5 billion will go towards expending the Pan-Halkeginian Railway into Hespira.

As part of foreign relations policy, Hresvelg has announced an ambitious $17 billion Pan-Halkeginian Railway and International H-Autobaan Network. $9 billion will be going towards the Castarcian-Atmoran Railway that will connect Atmora and Castarcia together which is expected to earn back the money from fairs by 2020. Finally $1.5 billion will towards maintaining the current Autobaans in Atmora. However Hresvelg plans in the future that the H-Autobaans will one day expand into Vozh, as trade with Vozh, Castarcia is $725 billion a year.

Despite the more friendly relations within Halkeginia, Hresvelg has stated that her main object as Chancellor will to maintain Atmora's position in the world. Along with countering the influence of Rohane within Halkeginia for "The snakes of Rohane, must be expelled from Halkeginia. They only wish to hold back the great nations of Halkeginia and expoilt our abdunant resources for themselves." Because of this position, Hresvelg will make it priority to counter Aravean influence in Vozh and to secure Atmora's eastern sea route.

Domestic policy wise, Hresvelg has announced that she will further be reducing tariffs on exports along slashing regulations. Along further spending towards the Ministry of Education and Culture to promote and rejuvenate pride in the Atmoran culture.

Sovereigness Announces Founding of International Trade Federation

At 1:30pm this afternoon, the Soveriegness called the Parish and Common Courts into order, stating that there was an important matter which needed to be voted upon. It was at this point that the doors closed, and voting began until 2:30 pm. When everything was done, the sovereigness signed the new bill into law, and signed into existence a new organization.

This organization now goes by the name of the International Trade Federation, or ITF. The goal of this new ITF is to encourage free trade between member nations, while also providing an independent security force aimed at the protection of trade and the assets carried on those trade routes. The Sovereigness has already signed into practice that this security organization would not fall under the chain of command of any of its member nations, and instead would have its own chain of command, selected from high performing officers within its ranks.

Now, only time will tell if this organization will actually perform the duties that it claims that it is made to perform.

Tensions Flare in Ghelen!

The Ghelenic Defence Force (Aravean: Ghelenska Försvarsmakt) along with the Aravean Defence Force were in a deadly border clash last night that resulted in the deaths of several soldiers. General Alban Sjöberg of the Ghelenic Defence Force has commented that five GDF soldiers were killed in the border clash along with twelve soldiers from the GDF. The Aravean Army hasn't commented on how many Aravean soldiers were killed or wounded in the recent clash, however the AKM has predicted that several Aravean soldiers were wounded via satellite and UAV footage.

During the Parliamentary session today, Giel van der Pols, Leader of the Official Opposition along NDP Leader Reinier Meulenbroek have accused the Chancellor of ordering the Ghelenic Army to provoke the Araveans. Saying that Hresvelg wishes to undermine and destablise Aravea so that she can further expand on her Pan-Halkeginian Dreams. However, Hresvelg has adamantly denied these baseless accusations pointed towards her. Saying that only wish to undermine her Government and sow seeds of doubt in the Atmoran people's minds. Defence Minister Stielstra has further commented that the AKM isn't and has never been deployed in Ghelen. Stating that the current issue in Ghelen isn't an Atmoran concern but a Aravean internal issue.

CdK Adolf Šavzin Orders State-wide Manhunt!

The Queen's Commissioner of Angara Adolf Šavzin has ordered a state-wide manhunt for Chirstiaan Teunissen and Hendrik Zellen mobilising the Province's Finncial Marechaussee Detachment along with the State Directorate of Forestry (SDB) and the Lieseltanese State Police to find and arrest Teunissen and Zellen. This comes after the Federal Police's (BPOL) SOB had discovered that Teunissen and Zellen are responsible for the disappearance of Vozhski hunters and fishermen in the Angara Province. Along with connections to the Ostaraanse IJzeren Front an Angaran based terrorist organisation that is responsible for the disappearance of Vozhski across the Angara river valley region.

The Speciale Onderzoeksbureau discovered the link to the OIF when the SDB agents handed over the remains of Iziasava Kisialova and Mikhalina Praškovič whose remains where found at the Aulavik National Park. The mutilated remains where transported to a BPOL facility in Winterhaven. The remains of the two Vozhski women were identified to be related to the Iron Front along with blood under the fingernails of Miss Praškovič. The blood under fingernails was traced back to Huibert Nyenhuis the BPOL Commissioner of Angara ordered for the local SCEPTER 5 team to arrest Huibert Nyenhuis. However when in custody at Winterhaven, SDB had reported they had found another victim, Radzim Maldzis a 40-year old Voshaans hunter who was brutality murdered. Upon interrogation by the SOB, Nyenhuis gave up his accomplices along with their addresses.

BPOL and SCEPTER 5 mobilised to arrest Chirstiaan Teunissen and Hendrik Zellen at their homes in Moltsjaad. However, when the BPOL Officers and the SCEPTER 5 Agents arrived at Teunissen's home he opened fire upon BPOL vehicles where he shot HKon.Thies Arnold, before Teunissen ran out the back of his house into the woods. When the BPOL arrived at Zellen's home they found it to be empty. After the incident with Senior Constable Arnold, the Queen's Commissioner ordered for a state-wide manhunt. Requesting all law enforcement to aid in the search and arrest of Chirstiaan Teunissen and Hendrik Zellen, even going as far as sending word to the Vozhski Border Guards.

Civlians Missing; Six Narcotics Officers Killed in Cross-Border Mortar Attack

Six KKDB Narcotics Agents were killed, with two more in critical condition following an ambush by suspected narcoterrorists near the Atmoran border on February 18. A team of officers from the Narcotics Control Office were responding to a call at a remote farmstead, where residents had reported suspicious activity. Upon searching the farmstead, the residents could not be located. It was then that the team came under fire by unknown forces. Agents were injured by both artillery and long ranged rifles. After brief firefight, a helicopter from a nearby Royal Guard outpost arrived on the scene and the hostiles fled into the Atmoran wilderness.

Witness reports state that the ability of the KKDB officers to respond was hampered by the position of the shooters, which appeared to be on a steep ridge approximately 490 meters inside Atmoran territory; with the farmstead being located just 200 meters away from the frontier. Neither Vozhsk nor Atmoran authorities have further responded to questions at this time.

Chief Superintendent Giel Klompenhouwer, Divisional Commnader of the Sulluit Gau in the Province of Brunna has confirmed in a public press release that three individual were shot dead; Constable Stefaan Boltje, along with two civilians Sophie Bulachaum and Ksaver Sakari. The Queen's Commissioner of Brunna Mathijs Reimers has expressed his condolences to the families of Constable Boltje, along with the Bulachaums and Sakaris stating that his office is working with the law enforcement to bring the murderers to justice. Major General Rogier de Haan, Commander of the FMar Brigade East has expressed great concern that the Ostaraanse IJzeren Front was involved in the shooting in Salluit. Believing that the current terrorist activity in northern provinces has gotten out of control after the FMAR Recherebureau has confirmed that on 19 February that the OIF was responsible for the six KKDB Narcotics officers killed at the Atmoran-Vozhsk border.

Constable Boltje was a 24-year-old police officer in the Lieseltanese State Police, born to an Atmoran father and a Voshanska mother. Sophie Bulaschum a 25-year-old Voshanska businesswoman, mother of three. Ksaver Sakari 31-years-old, son to an Inuit father and a Voshanska mother. Ch Supt Klompenhouwer does not believe it is a coincidence that three people of Voshany descent were killed, that this homicide was a racially motivated terrorist attack upon non-Atmoraans.

The Recherebureau have identified that Corneel Nienders was responsible for the shooting of 3 in Salluit, along with further connections with the OIF and drug smuggling in the Sidnese Sea. With the criminal activity of the OIF reaching across national and provincial borders, the Queen's Commissioners, Major General De Haan, and local law enforcement have urged the federal government in Alexandria to escalate the terrorist activity of the OIF to a Federal level. Believing that with current forces in the North, that in order to bring the OIF to justice they will need the full might of the Lieseltanese National Marechaussee and the help of KKDB to bring the terrorists to justice.

The Rijksfront the paramilitary arm of the Socialist Rijk Party as left the nation baffled as they attempted assassination upon the Queen's Commissioner Maikel Vandebriel along with the bombing of Koningsweg Station in Novigrad City. The Rijksfront claim Vandebriel is a communist race traitor for his marriage to Voshanska Rosana Sakvina along with their three children. The Socialist Rijks Party (SRP) is a known fringe far-right party in Lieseltania led by Hubrecht Siero, Kasper Lier, and Sebastiaan Meulenbeld, the SRP calls for the racial purification of Atmora, denial of the Vozhski Genocides, and the reconquest of Vozh or as they call it the Eastern Lieseltanese territories. SRP Chairman Siero has stated the Rijksfront is a fringe group that split off from the SRP in the 70s, that the SRP had nothing to do with the attempted assassination on Commissioner Vandebriel and his family, along with the bombing at the Koningsweg station in Novigrad City Central District.

The bombing at Koningsweg Station has left 5 dead, and 17 seriously injured the bombing was meant to be a false flag so that the Rijksfront could assassinate the Queen's Commissioner while the State Police were occupied with the bombing at Kings Way Station. 3 armed assailants attempted to break into the Provincial Hall in Novigrad to assassinate the Queen's Commissioner and his wife. However, the three were quickly apprehended by the Lieseltanian National Marechaussee before they could harm Vandebriel.

With recent developments in Novigrad leaving 5 dead, 17 seriously injured, and the attempted assassination on the Queen's Commissioner of Novigrad. The Crown has announced that the SRP and other similar organisation will be henceforth banned from assembling or even running in local, state, or federal elections. Party leaders of SRP and other parties will be arrested by the Federal Police. Furthermore the Crown orders the Lieseltanian NMar and the Second Army to be mobilised in hunting down members of the terrorist organisations of the Rijksfront, Ostaraanse IJzerene Front, Zwarte Front, and the SRP.

Holy Emperor and Imperial Regent to tour the Empire!

As announced earlier this week by the Holy Imperial Household, the Holy Aellyrian Emperor and his Imperial Regent Lord Veyrnis will be touring the countryside, visiting the people as they go from city to city, stopping at countryside estates and meeting with local lords and administrators. Much to the excitement of the populous who due to his age have had few opportunities to see their young emperor in person.

Security measures are of course being put into affect as the Holy Imperial Household takes its security very seriously. Particularly after the uptick in socialist activity around the world, as is common knowledge to the citizenry of the Holy Empire, socialism is incompatible with the Holy Aellyrian Empire and is in fact directly opposed to the Holy Aellyrian Church.

In other news, Lord Ivor, Housecarle to the Earl of the Eastern Fjords and known for his staunch support for the conservation of the Aellyrian ecosystem and clean energy has just had a son, who he has named Bjorn Andreas Ivorsson, in the tradition of Aellyria putting his patronym as the surname of his son as many still do in Aellyria. The interesting tid-bit as our readers might have noticed is he dedicated the young boys second name to the Holy Aellyrian Emperor himself. A response has yet to come from the aforementioned Holy Emperor but we are eager to see what the Holy Emperor thinks about this admirable dedication.

The Holy Empire improves upon itself!

The Aellyrian Ship Building Corporation, a company privately owned by the Imperial Family has taken on a contract to construct a fleet of ships for the Atmoran Navy. While the details of exactly how many and what kind of ships will not be released by the company under a non-disclosure agreement. However this has spread pride for the Holy Empire's great relationship with the people of the Atmora. Along with this the joint Mega-project completed between Atmora-and Aellyria to strengthen the Aellyrian Infrastructure will be finished later this week, this mega project included highways, trains, and ferries that have all been modernized in an effort to provide the people of the Empire with better transportation options.

In other news, Aellyria's green initiative to provide green power to the nation has been extremely successful. Now providing up to seventy percent of the nations power as green power, either hydro, solar, wind, or nuclear power. While the rest of the power is provided by traditional biomass burning plants, in which the Empires bio-waste is burnt as fuel in blocks, a slim five percent is still however burning coal as its fuel source.

This has also given rise to the two new initiatives given credence by the Holy Emperor, which are as follows, all houses must have an alternative source of heat besides electric power in case of emergencies, this often ends up being a small wood burning stove, and the second initiative, aptly named the Black Forest initiative. Which is a nation wide effort to plant somewhere around a billion new trees native to Aellyria within a five year period. This of course will be done by the Imperial Civil Service, a branch of the government that rehabilitates criminals, drug addicts, and the homeless by giving them a steady job and a place to live in exchange for a set period of manual labour, the standard contract being around ten years.

Katherine II Declares State of Emergency, Following Deadly Attacks!

High Queen Katherine II of Atmora has invoked the Emergency Act declaring a national state of emergency following the 15 March Novigrad Metro Bombing that resulted in 15 people killed and 67 injured, along with the 9 March Sint-Stefansrode shooting in Larsenburg that resulted in 3 people killed and 13 injured. These attacks along with several are committed by the Neofascists and Far-right extremists such as 2 March Koningsweg bombing down by the Rijksfront van de Sociale Rijkspartij have created tension between the crown and Chancellor Hresvelg as rumours within the Chancellery staff that the High Queen had reportedly lambasted the Chancellor for her failure to act since the Neofascist attacks in January. That her failure to act swiftly had resulted in hundreds of Atmorans dead or harmed.

As tensions between the High Queen and the Chancellor continue to grow, there is a potential threat of the Hresvelg coalition government falling apart. As of noon, Voshanska Siske Masserau of the Christain Social People's Party has suddenly resigned as Minister of Justice along with potential Education Minister Dr. Maikel Yakovlev of the CSV also suspected of potentially resigning as the Neofascist attacks in Atmora have largely attacked Voshany and Slavs in Atmora. If the Deputy Chancellor Theodore van Tieghem were to withdrawal CSV support of the Hresvelg government, it would trigger a motion of no confidence in the Chancellorship of the Hresvelg government.

Following the 9 March attack, the High Queen had summoned Chief of the Defence Staff Marshal Loevezijn to request for his resignation as the head of the Atmoran Armed Forces. By 12 March, Marshal Loevezijn had resigned as the CDS, apologising to the families who had lost loved ones. Immediately upon his resignation, the High Queen had moved to appoint Chief of the General Staff Field Marshal Marquess Kesteven to the position of CDS. Following the recent attacks Katherine II along with the Atmoran Armed Forces moved to begin Operation Sentinel and Operation Temperer with a Royal Decree. In this Royal Decree, Katherine II had declared a national state of emergency and that the Atmoran Armed Forces and the Ministry of State Security and Ministry of Justice would work together in Operations Sentinel and Temperer. That 35k soldiers and marines were to be activated to support the 7k Marechaussee and Police officers tasked with protecting Atmoran communities with Operation Sentinel. Meanwhile with Operation Temperer 10k soldiers and marines will be tasked with supporting Marechaussee and Police units in the arrest and dismantlement of far-right extremist groups within Atmora.

Parishal Court Announces Militia Standardized Training Bill

For many generations, the people of Rethua, and its provincial nobility, have looked to, and counted on the Parishal Militias to provide both a means of local defense, and an emergency response group. However over the decades and centuries, the quality and capabilites of these Militias has always been inconsistent, with some being comparable to standard military personnel, while others being barely adequate for police duty. This has improved to a certain extent with the Standardized Equipment bill passed in recent decades, however this has only solved part of the problem faced with the Militia system. While they might now be comparable to a standard infantryman in equipment, there are still plenty of Parishal Militias with soldiers who have been given little to no actual training on how to actually use that equipment effectively, a dangerous proposition with the nature of modern warfare and combat.

However the future of the Militias has taken a very positive turn, with multiple Parishal nobles having brought forward a Standardized Training bill over the past few years, having finally finalized the details of the bill last month. It was just this this morning when the voting began on the new bill, and lasted well into the day as the decision was weighed. The voting came to an end, and the results were decisive, the bill passed with a 72 % to yes, and 28% no. The Sovereigness gave the signature of approval not long after, and the bill became law. It was not long after the bill that a widespread retraining program began, overseen by Sovereign Military personnel.

Empress Elvira, the husband of Emperor Rudolf the Second, gave birth to the couple’s first child on Tuesday, a son who is now second in line to the Austrysian throne.

The Emperor was present for the birth at St. Peter’s Hospital in Viehburg, Silberburg Palace announced.

It is reported that the Empress is recovering well from the birth of the child, and is expected to be released by the hospital tomorrow afternoon. Briefly stepping outside to wave to well-wishers, the couple seemed to be in good spirits.

In a statement, the Palace said: “Their Imperial Majesties would like to thank all the staff at the hospital for the care and treatment they have received,” read the statement.

The Emperor and Empress have announced the child will be known as His Imperial Highness Archduke and Prince Franz-Rudolf of Austrysia.

Seasonal Festival to begin

The coast wide Festival of Lights will be beginning on the southern coast of Aellyria, a four month festival in which the entire coast celebrates a good year, where wine, fireworks, song, music and company are all available for the right price. While year round the southern coast is a culture of celebration, prosperity, gambling, and dancing.

The Festival of Lights is a great occurrence of celebration, in which a good 45 million gallons of wine beer and liquor are drank within that four month festival. Which is thus why the festival is often called the Reckless Endeavor, however the denizens of the city look forward to it every year.

Announcements from the Holy City

Here in the Holy City of Aeyle, many are excited to see the new changes being announced by the Holy Imperial Family and the Holy Empire. The first major announcement is one of security, in light of recent events from around the world, a holy mandate has been put in place to reorganize the Imperial military into legions, and to incorporate the noble houses personal armies into the overall Holy Imperial army. With each house volunteering a Lord or Lady to act as an officer from the family. Also in military announcements, anti aircraft and anti naval fortifications will be put in place in most costal cities, this will help deter the war from our shores.

In other news, the integration of vertical farming in urban environments has been completed in all of the major coastal cities. Making them agriculturally independent, increasing our nation's crop output and allowing food prices locally to become more affordable and accessable. And certainly last but not least is the announcement of the monthly games, a monthly tournament held in each city with cheap admissions allowing the people of Aellyria to watch gladitoral competitions, horse races, and local wrestling matches, food is provided at relatively cheap prices and drink both alcoholic and non alcoholic will also be available.

The State of the Ivory Tower

Historically, the state of education within the Holy Empire was taken care of by the Holy Aeylic Church and some private institutions. However, today this will change as of the decree of the Holy Emperor, while the education of children will still be handled by the church until the year of fourteen, the state of higher education will now be handled by the Holy Imperial College, it's center obviously being in the capital of our most Holy Empire. These colleges will be located in the capital of each province, while the main college will be located in the capital. Unfortunately, these colleges will not be free but instead require either a small admissions fee or the servitude of the graduate scholar for a set number of years after their received education.

The Holy Emperor hopes this will spark a renaissance of theoretical and philosophical thought throughout the Holy Empire. To this we hail our glorious Empire and it's Emperor in all their holiness.

The oldest federal prince in Atmora has passed away today at the age of 79 years old at his summer home of Eselsberg Palace, in the county of Montpelgard. Grand Duke George IV was the oldest member of the House of Wolf, and was but a child during the reign of his great grandfather Grand Duke Mikael of Rothenberg. Due to family deaths during the Third and Second Voshan Wars along with one of Mikael's eldest sons being made the High King of the Vozhski and fighting a war against the head of the family High Queen Katherine I. It was decided that George IV's father Grand Duke Lodewijk II would take the throne after the death of Mikael in 1943. The Minister of State Security, Sophie Appello has confirmed intelligence reports of the reformation of left-wing militias within northern Atmora. Along with further concerns that the reappearance of left-wing and right-wing militias within the North signals the return of another bloodletting Interior War. The Ministry of State Security has confirmed that the Red Army Faction, the Slavinian International Peacekeeping Brigade, and the Slavinian Red Army has formed within the Voshagne region of the Kingdom of Lieseltania along with spilling into the neighbouring Kingdom of Huldenberg. Lieseltanian & Huldenberg National Marechaussee units have been authorised to engage and neutralise the SAF, SIVB and SRA militias. Duchess Sophie Appello the Minister of State Security has authorised the formation of the State Guard units.

Naomi van Ansemburg-Meinesz, Minister-president of Lieseltania has announced the reformation of the Lieseltanese Staatsgarde, along with Minister-president of Huldenberg with the reformation of the Huldenbergische Staatsgarde. The State Guards will be a state militia tasked with bring law and order back to northern Atmora to aid and assist federal security forces such as the National Marechaussee, MSV, Federal Police, and NATREs units in combating left-wing and right-wing terrorism.

Many in Atmora are saying that the reformation of State Guards units in Atmora is Chancellor Hresvelg attempts to save face with the Atmoran public as a potential vote of no-confidence looms over the Conservative government. Tensions erupted in Ghelen as Ghelenic Defence Forces and the Aravean Armed Forces clashed in the Tyresta Forest just 3 kilometres from the county perimeter of Ghelen by the Ghelenic village of Svinhult, between disputed territory between the Aravean Empire and the Republic of Ghelen. Atmoran defence analysts believe that currently so far 27 Ghelenic soldiers have been killed with a further 79 injured within the first day. Ghelenic and Atmoran defence analysts believe that Araveans have suffered around 73 casualties. 3 civilians were caught in the cross fire between Ghelenic and Aravean soldiers today. Reports say that Ghelen and Aravea are still locked in an intense border conflict right now.


Ghelen broke away from Aravea during the Aravean Civil War with the help of High Queen Juliette-Alexandra of Atmora when the Light Division and 7th Cavalry Brigade of the Atmoran Army along with Atmoran volunteer in the Fenrir Legion. After the Aravean Civil War ended and Ghelen successfully broke away from Aravea, the Atmoran Colonial Ministry was almost attempted to annex the newly founded republic and make it an Atmoran colony along with Mizuho and Vozh. However, instead Chancellor Nicolaas Biemolt invited Ghelen President Örjan Holmgren to Atmora and signed the Atmoran-Ghelenic Treaty of Arnemuiden of 1871 forming the basis of Atmoran support in Ghelen economically, politically, and militarily to this day.

Ghelen Defence Minister Valter Crusenstolpe has requested from Alexandria for further support in the defence of Ghelen. Chancellor Hresvelg in parliament today had called upon her fellow member of parliament to approve of the sale of PV84 Edelweiss 1A3s, heavy artillery, howitzers, and old decommissioned Atmoran attack submarines to aid in the defence of Ghelen without the need to send Atmoran boots into Rohane.

The Andreeva Government is dissolved following a successful vote of no confidence by a coalition of left-wing parties. The long-standing conservative minority government has recently come under intense criticism for its handling of the Drug War in the Northwest, failure to protect Vozh's sovereignty and neutrality on the world stage, and failure to stand up to "corrupt, undemocratic, antisocial, and anti-catholic" regimes such as those in Alexandria and Aeyle. The no-confidence vote was triggered due to the Duma discovering a series of secret communications between former Premier Andreeva and Rijkskanselier Hresvelg regarding Atmoran forces illegally violating Vozhsk waters and airspace. It was found that the former premier and her government intentionally concealed this information from the Duma and the public at large. It is expected that the provisional government will formally press charges later in the week.

Extraordinary elections have been scheduled for January of 2017, with a coalition of 6 political parties managing a provisional government during the transition. The Labour Party, Peasant's Party, Republican Party, Socialist Republican Party, Communist Party, and Social Democratic Labour Party have already formed a provisional cabinet, with the premiership to be shared on a rotational basis. It has been agreed that Fatima Alieva of the Peasants' Party, Salamon Tannenbaum of the Republican Party, and Elisaveta Zakharenko of the Communist Party would each serve as premier for 44 days leading up to the January 28 election. The coalition has promised that it will not use the transitional period to advance its policy agenda, and will instead focus on facilitating truth and reconciliation, as well as maintaining order.

Bishop of Aeyle speaks to the Aellyrian Diaspora

The High Bishop of Aeyle, a holy man appointed by the Holy Emperor himself spoke today on the Aellyrian Diaspora while conducting the congregation at the most holy temple of the waters today. He discussed the unspoken mistreatment of their far flung brothers and sisters.

He is quoted saying, "It has come to my attention through our great community that a sort of discrimination has been going on in the wider world. Our people have always been a tight knit culture, forming small neighborhoods in cities around the world for the better part of two hundred years seeking new opportunity and praying to the most holy gods and saints of our ancestors. They have even taken on the most respectable jobs in those new communities, that of fisherman and cook and all the other jobs necessary to be successful through the bounty of the sea, as is traditional. While their neighbors, who I am sure our brothers and sisters were nothing but friendly too mistrusted and abused them. They call them crook and criminal, thief and thug, but worst of all they call them mafioso." Following the collapse of the Andreeva Premiership and the formation of the Vozhsk National Salvation Government following the Treaty of Alexandria between Atmora, Castarcia, and Vozh in the formation of the Halkeginian Union. Chancellor Hresvelg, in a recent press briefing, has denounced the allegations of the National Salvation Government, stating that the Treaty of Alexandria was a stepping stone in easing border restrictions, economic and infrastructure integration. Along with the formation of the Halkeginian Council in which Vozh and Castarcia would hold respectively 2/3s of the Council composition to counterbalance the population disparity of the Atmoran Confederation with the other Halkeginian states. Chancellor Hresvelg also mentioned how she had a good working relationship with Premier Andreeva, she and Andreeva were working on finally bringing lasting peace, stability, prosperity and justice to Halkeginia.

The Chancellor has accused Vozhsk Premier Fatima Alieva and Vozhsk Deputy Premiers Salamon Tannenbaum and Elisaveta Zakharenko of being warmongering puppets of Aravean Chancellor Anton Derfflinger, the National Salvation Government wishes to use yet another war in Halkeginia. The Chancellor has stated she can no longer stand idly by as Aravea and Vozh gear up to strike at Atmora and has bought to the floor of Parliament the Naval Expansion Act along with the National Resources Mobilization Act. The Naval Expansion Act, Chancellor Hresvelg to maintain and build a 500-ship fleet calling for an additional 10 Abraham Crijnssen class frigates. Along with how the Rijksmarine is currently underpowered with 8 Aircraft Carriers, under Atmoran law the Rijksmarine mustn't fall below 11 aircraft carriers and currently, the Rijksmarine fleet only maintains 8 carriers.

In an unprecedented time of peace, the Rijksmarine decommissioned the 4 older Ark Roijaal class aircraft carriers HMS Ark Roijaal, HMS Bonaventure, HMS Roijaal Soeverein, and HMS Koningin Katherina in the 2007 Defence Spending Bill. That has left the Rijksmarine unable to properly maintain its duty of protecting and forwarding Atmora's interests at sea.

The National Resources Mobilization Act will allow the Ministry of National Defence to bolster the fleet of the Strategic Air Command, allowing the Royal Atmoran Air Force to purchase stealth bombers and next-generation stealth fighters so the RAAF in future conflicts will have the upper hand in the air war. The other part of the NRMA allows the Army to access funding to build and develop near next-generation main battle tanks with the PV83 Edelweiss IIIs along with more funding for the National Reserves. As such the Rijksmarine has been authorised to order 3 additional Roijaal Soeverein class aircraft carriers, HMS Roijaal Soeverein (CVN-80) and HMS Rothenburg (CVN-81) will be set to be completed by the end of 2017.

After bring the two bills to the Parliament Floor, the Chancellery has dispatched orders to Admiral Diederick Krieger to deploy the 7 Eskader Escorteschepen (7EE) and 19 Eskader Jagerschepen (19EJ) along with the 3 and 5 Eskader Onderzeeboten (3EOZ & 5EOZ) to patrol within disputed waters along with Atmoran-Vozhsk maritime border.
