Quangsuh Konzask Diplomatic Talks

[Konzask]

A forum dedicated to the negotiation and possible alliance, and economic cooperation between the United Soviet Socialist Republics of Konzask and the Peoples Republic of Quangsuh. No other nations may partake in this meeting, let alone forum without permission of at least one of the nations (ie, are invited).

Primarily this forum will be where diplomats actually interact, and discuss topics, proposals and agreements, so character creation for at least one re-acoring character is required. anyone else is free to watch I suppose

Name: Varely Sablin

Description: Varely Sablin is a high ranking, highly respect KCP official. Joining the party at the young age of 17 (now 18), Sablin has been a favorite to send on diplomatic missions and envoys. Sablin is energetic, jovial and easy to talk with, but gets things done, and is always a reliable person to send. Sablin is a native Konzaskan, has brown hair, brown eyes, is around 6'1, wears a white suite and dress pants, as well as a white Commissar cap. Otherwise not much to say.

Name: Yi Sukegei

Description: Sukegei is an ex-military, high ranking official serving the State Tangshi, who also served time as a ranking member of the Xianshui Shikou. Because of his background in political and military background Sukegei is suited to the job as one of the few diplomats the PRQS has in other nations. Sukegei is middle aged and has short black hair, brown eyes and is 5'11. He wears the standard issue black suit, white shirt and black tie with the State Tangshi pin. He is a quiet, disciplined man who follows orders without question and cares little for small talk.

Sablin quitly makes his way to the designated meeting place. He was given a short description of what to expect, and fully briefed on what to bring up, ask etc. Sablin was not remotly nervouse, despite knowing a possible alliance rested upon his showing, and political maneuvering as well, he's gotten used to it, after all, he is the preferred successor after Dimitrov resigns, so this for him is a great opportunity to start, he quickly locates Yi, and smirks, giving a salute, he has served his fair time as a Commissar after all.

"I assume your the one I'm expected to meet, well, greetings from Konzask, I'm diplomat, KCP member and Commissar Varely Sablin"

Sablin was, very young, and well, looked as previously described. Sablin spoke Yi's language well, as he learned the languages of the continent soon after joining the party, knowing he'd eventually need to anyway. however, he still does speak it with a very heavy Konzaskan accent, which is to be expected. He outstretches his hand, offering a handshake

Sukegei sees the Konzask diplomat enters the meeting place not knowing what to expect, it is the first time hes officially left his homeland, other than his time spent in military camps based in New Russia. He notices a tall, young man who looks official enough, he returns the salute and grasps the mans had firmly in a handshake, giving a brief smile, surprised at the mans ability to speak Quangsui, as it is well known to be challenging to learn.

"Yes, I am Yi Sukegei, the diplomat to the Quangsui Tangshi. I speak in the name of my leader Comrade Hao"
"A pleasure to meet you".

He then looks expectantly at Sablin, waiting for his next move.

Sukegei sees the Konzask diplomat enters the meeting place not knowing what to expect, it is the first time hes officially left his homeland, other than his time spent in military camps based in New Russia. He notices a tall, young man who looks official enough, he returns the salute and grasps the mans had firmly in a handshake, giving a brief smile, surprised at the mans ability to speak Quangsui, as it is well known to be challenging to learn.

"Yes, I am Yi Sukegei, the diplomat to the Quangsui Tangshi. I speak in the name of my leader Comrade Hao"
"A pleasure to meet you".

He then looks expectantly at Sablin, waiting for his next move.

Sablins handshake is swift and firm, as he lets go of Yi's hand with a grin, however, almost at the drop of a hat, his jovial mood switches to a more serious, business oriented one

"I'm sure both our parties would prefer us to skip the semantics, eager with our 'results' I suppose you could call it. I'm fairly certain you've already heard and seen our newest trade proposal, so I wont mention that, other then asking for a result" He pauses briefly, but speaks again before Yi can respond, it's clear Sablin knows what he's doing "We would also like to propose an alliance between our nations. We are aware of your cooperation with the Trekans, and how our actions unsettle the Minachians. However this is more reason to peruse this path. We need to work together in order for both Quangsuh and Konzask to stand independently, and allied in our struggle, in order to realistically protect ourselves, and the vanguard. Currently, we are very pleased with the position of Quangsuh and it's strides in progress, however, we do have a few, minor concerns"

He looks at yi with a furrow brow, expecting a swift answer to his question and points

Yi listens intently to Sablin, nodding his head as he listens, showing little not no facial expression- not that he is staring blankly, but using a technique the military taught him, never letting his guard down as he listens to what Sablin has to say, noting his mannerisms and tone of speaking. However, he shows a sliver of concern at Sablin final comment.

"Quangsuh is welcoming to Konzasks request of an alliance and is willing to make steps to make a just deal that would benefit both nations, as well as this, Quangsuh is also looking to free itself from the dependence of overseas superpowers such as Treka but wishes to maintain close relations"

Yi straightens his posture and narrows his eyes

"you have concerns with the PRQS?"

he simply nods

"Our concerns aren't big, or dramatic, just a minor disagreement on internal policy. We've noticed the "racial hierarchy", I suppose you could call it, with a more Chinese preference over Russian or Mongolian. Of course, actions and ideals of your citizens is quite frankly none of our business, however, it has tilted a few heads back home in Safingrad, as well, the communist goal, and dream is total gender, and racial equality, so this small scale hierarchy is a slight concern. In the end, what you do about it is your governments decision, and doesn't affect our over all opinions of Quangsuh, it is just curios. The other is the closeness of an ally of yours, the Trekans. We have no qualms with cooperating with global nations, after all the Trimanians are one of, if not the biggest trade partner we have. However we want full assurance that Trekan policy will stay firmly outside of Quangsuh governance and policy before committing to a full scale alliance"

his serious deminor lightens

"I suppose that leaves the fun part of our meeting, policy on revolution. Konzask believes until we're on a stage to rival directly the other powers, we need to adopt a pragmatic, slow spread of our ideals, possibly starting with our accursed enemy we both share a border with, or possibly helping cultivate the rising democratic left in our north more neighbor, helping them peacefully reform independently. As you can see the possibilities, although limited, are viable, and are in our best interests to persue, but in these desicions we want to know Quangsuhs opinions on them, and to ensure we coordinate both our nations efforts, to ensure it's success"

As Sablin begins to speak, Yi reaches into his breast pocket and inserts in a small earpiece. He listens intently to what Sablin has to say and shows some concern as to what is mentioned about the racial divide.
as the Konzask diplomat finishes speaking Yi furrows his brow, paying attention to his earpiece. He then nods slightly and addresses Sablin:

"Our relation with Treka is purely for economic and military gain, until we find a better partner, we are dependent on Trekas support as to avoid having to negotiate with Corusconia. Outside this, we share no dialogue in politics and I wish to assure Konzask that our relationship with Treka will not delay our long-term goals. Our relationship with New Russia has deteriorated over the last years, unsurprisingly, as after the collapse of their government radical groups have moved to treat our kin poorly, now that we have a foothold, Quangsuh is able to aid Konzask in any military action, or otherwise"

Preparing for his next statement Yi stiffens and straightens his tie as he proceeds

"As for your claim that there is a racial divide in our nation, I must state that I am with Chinese and Mongolian heritage and see no discrimination. The demographics of our cities is nothing to do with race but simply where each keep to their kind".

Sablin is not fully convinced, but he knows better then to start a debate about such a minor issue

"Then I can have full hopes that the Quangsuh Government would be comfortable denouncing all forms of racism, or forced segregation" he clears his throat "With the regards to Treka, we are pleased to hear. And in terms of growing more independent from them, further economic cooperation, and programs between Konzask and Quangsuh will not only benefit your goals in that regard, but the over all economic structure of both our grand nations. Such as increasing our food exports in exchange for various materials, as well as us increasing our electronics exports in exchange for other various things, that your government would deem a fair trade"

he begins to smirk, and reaches into his coat, and pulls out a bottle full of ice cold clear liquid, with a label along the center, it's entirely in Konzaskan. The bottle is sealed by a quark

"The most alcoholic beverage in Konzask, a gift from Dimitrov, to Brother Hoa. This is one of the cultural drinks we could also export to Quangsuh, perhaps in exchange for Quangsuh tea?" Sablin lightly jokes "Perhaps if we start trading cultural goods, perhaps each of our nations will develop a 'cultural craze' for one another" he lets out a chuckle, but it's clear Sablin is no where near off his gaurd. Sablin's good at what he does, primarily due to his jovial attitude, and iron devotion

Yi forces a chuckle at Sablins last comments.

"A trade agreement would be much appreciated by our government, Im sure our leaderships will be much pleased by our efforts"

Yi then removes the pin from his suit displaying the capitol building flanked by red and gold banners with 5 stars lining the upper ring of the pin and holds it in his outstretched hand towards Sablin.

Yi's eyes narrow but his face remains emotionless, hiding his disdain for this man before him expertly
"Im sure that Comrade Brother Hao will appreciate your generous gift, unfortunately, I only have my humble Party membership pin to offer"

[Konzask]

He hands the man the bottle, and hesitates in taking the ping

"No need to repay this gift. It comes from Dimitrov himself, and has stated he doesn't care for anything in return. Matter of fact he wanted to attend this meeting himself, but couldn't as the party wanted him to stay with them, and the National Assembly to help ensure the beginning stages of our 10 year plan are implemented smoothly. Our economy is strong as our industry, we are fairly highly ranked after all, but we know we can, and must be better, and we will gladly work with Quangsuh as equals to ensure both our nation"

Sablins attitude is still fairly jovial, but it works as a masterful mascaraed to his thoughts. Frankly he dislikes Yi, and is very suspicious, especially from when he pulled his ear peace, it puts him off, but he hides this well, and keeps moving forward with his words, after all, his opinion on one man, does not change his opinion on a nation

"If that is all, then I suppose I should take my leave. As a party official, and high ranking one at that, I'm quite sure the rest of the party would enjoy my oversight in the coming 10 year plan"

Yi Simply nods

"I shall return to my homeland and report to Xichang the good news, at least, until the embassies have been built"

Yi knows that Sablin dislikes him, he can feel it. Yi almost feels guilty for acting so cool on the first visit. However, he did in fact call our great leader "Hoa", instead of Hao, a great offence if said in Quangsuh.
However, for the two countries to prosper exceptions must be made. Ill give him the benefit of thew doubt, then we shall see...

"Until me meet again, Varely Sablin"

Yi offers his hand to be shaken, his mood lifting

Sablin nods, shaking Yi's hand

"And with the way the tides are shifting on our continent, that meeting will more then likely be sooner then later"

After shaking Yi's hand, Sablin turns around and begins heading to an APC, where the soldiers salute him almost immediately, despite his jovial attitude, it's clear there is a great deal of respect for him among the soldiers. Once inside and the door's closed, sure no one can see him, he smiles. Sure, perhaps his opinions of Yi are, rocky, he secured everything he set out to secure, and even more then that. He knows the path of Socialism, for both nations is not an easy one to walk, and it very well could end with him being hung in a foreign nation, left dangling by a rope, turning purple as his body rocks in the sunlight. but he knows no matter the challenges, he is on the right path, and no personal cost of his, in his opinion is too great, for the global emancipation of all workers.

After the two shake hands Yi watches Sablin enter the APC, obviously admired by his nations soldiers. Unlike him, Yi has no such response as he turns and approaches a military helicopter flanked by QPLA soldiers He climbs on board without them even acknowledging him. As the Chopper takes off he picks up a satellite phone and calls headquarters to announce the good news, hopefully, this could be the promotion he needs.
