[Report] Flamebaiting in Hagia Sophia

Asle Leopolka wrote:He should instead admit the Turks committed genocide in Armenia.

I get that Turkey's denial of the Armenian Genocide is egregious, but this has absolutely nothing to do with the topic at hand. Nothing. It's pretty much intended to get a rise out of Turkish users.
Turkish-Canadian, atheist, social democrat and "Neo-Kemalist" (inquire within as to what that means), aspiring academician. Interested in Turkish politics, Turkish foreign policy, Israeli politics, democratisation, authoritarianism, civil-military relations, and nation-building. Currently focusing on Israel, open to academic reading suggestions regarding Israeli politics. Also learning Hebrew, it's not going bad.

Whenever Turkey meets non Turks, genocide seems to often be a common result. And they say America has a legacy of racism.

No because I never said all in that sentence. I said "it seems to often be a common result." Often, not always, and im referring to the history of a country and not each and every Turkish person alive. I was specifically trying to avoid an all X is Y statement when I said that.

It's like saying "black americans seem to often be killed by police unjustly." Is that an all X is Y statement?

For Rojava's "all x are y" or other potential trolling: I'm going to go ahead and say not actionable. It certainly is just patently not "all X are Y" as it is referring to a country often doing something, not people from that country always doing something.

Both, however, qualify as a potential threadjack, so stop it. I issued a reminder accordingly in the thread since you and Asle were not the only ones losing track of the topic.

True. As I just posted in that very thread, don't push your luck. It's beginning to look like you're deliberately trying to make Hakinda Herseyi Duymak istiyorum angry. That is trolling.

You've deliberately missed the context of the post with your selective quote there. It doesn't look like trolling to me.
