It’s been marked legal, but, as many of us old hands in the SC have said before, legal does not equal good. And your proposal, which you didn’t bother to draft, is not good.

For the sake of posterity here is a copy of the proposal along with some comments.

Noting that The Embassy has been working to have diplomatic relations with as many regions,

With as many regions as what? Not particularly well phrased.

Applauding their steadiness of requesting embassies for 5 years,

Is that all? Seems like an eternity. Anyway being a pain in the arse for 5 years is not Commendable.

Respecting their role as a hub between regions that may want to establish relations with other regions,

Including many fascist and Nazi regions. Being a hub for those types of regions is certainly not Commendable. The fact that The Embassy had to be persuaded and pressured to close those links speaks volumes about their unsuitability for any award.

Amazed that The Embassy has built many other helpful features, such as TourAdvisor, which helped other regions and nations,

If you told us what these features were we might be able to decide if they were worth commending. As it is, no.

Acknowledging their ongoing work to preserve their practice,

As I said this is not a good attempt and The Embassy, in my opinion, does not deserve any type of recognition.
