Mallardius...the Wilderness Commonwealth of the United Dominion within Greater Dienstad. Mallardius is where nature was free to reign without care. The realm was home of great forests of massive redwood trees spanning for miles. These lands claimed as the Wilderness Commonwealth were founded thousands years ago by an empire lost in the sands of times. But Mallardius survive the collapse the forgotten empire to become something else. From what was left of the people whom lived there, a new nation formed. An elven kingdom centered around the Fortress City of Dreatos, the former seat of power of the forgotten empire. The Fortress City rested nearly in the Mallardius Commonwealth surrounded by the massive redwood forests. Even after the founding of the elven kingdom, there was still chaos.

Chaos between the elves and the humans whom were left by the forgotten empire. Countless battles were fought in the forests outside of Dreatos and other cities across Mallardius. In the end, the elves out numbered the humans and drove them out of the eleven kingdom. But that didn't fix the issues haunting these land. No, this only fuel more hate within those whom were left. Elves, dwarves, and were-beings turned on each other. Each fighting to gain power over one or another. Hundreds of years of conflicts scarred the landscape of Mallardius. Elven kings fell in battle to be quickly replaced by other one. Would there be order within these lands?

Raelgyreon. The surname of elven lord. A lord that exiled out of the lands of Mallardius. A lord whom recruited a force that only goal was to be order. The Raelgyreon Army held the likes of elves, dwarves, humans and were-beings. They broke the ranks of the current elven tyrant king. The soil was once again soaked up the blood of those whom fell in battle. The Fortress City fell to this army, the only force that broke into those stone walls. The rejoice as a royal house was formed and changes began within the lands of Mallardius. A kingdom that was welcome to all races. Cities were rebuilt and there was order.

Modern times, midday
The Fortress City of Dreatos

There was a quiet within the stone wall of the city, which over time had grown to house over sixty million souls peacefully. Yes, there were the normal noises of a busy city, but there was still the peaceful quietness in the air. No violence, no destruction. Peace. But there was a being watching over the city at this time of day. A being trying to get away from the issues of running a nation of this size. A nation of close to three billion Dominionites.

Dominionites... thought the being.

The Mallardius Commonwealth was a part of a larger nation, the twisted entity known as the United Dominion. But these lands didn't become part of the United Dominion through conflict. No, the Mallardius Commonwealth become a nation through peaceful talks between the former Wilderness King and the Caesar of the United Dominion. A move many thought was wrong in this lands. A move that the current king strongly disapproved as his father handed over his homeland to a stranger.

The being, standing on the tallest tower within the Fortress City, stared out at the forest surrounding the city. His silver hair, along with his pointed ears, were hidden under a dark hood. His cloak danced in the wind as his ice blue eyes watched. His name is Jaeredor Raelgyreon, the current Wilderness King. For some reason, he still held anger for his nation wasn't granted the orders to reign hell within the region of Greater Dienstad. The Wilderness Commonwealth were in defense mood as the Helvacas Commonwealth grew in size in realm of Nocturnalya.

We will have our chance one day... thought the King. What is not the Dominion's, shall be ours...

Official Message from the Wilderness King of Mallardius

To the heads of states of the many nations of Greater Díenstad for too long the Wilderness Commonwealth has been semi-isolated to our little corner of Greater Díenstad. Our only contact to the world outside of borders has been with the other nations of the United Dominion and nations on friendly terms with the United Dominion. But now is the time for change. A time to reach out into the world, into the Greater Díenstad to test the waters and find new allies within this region.

Under the wishes of Caesar Jason Scotus Lupus, a gala will be held in the Coastal Fortress City of Raath Caelora in the Sanguine Palace within two weeks of the date of this letter. Treat this letter as your invite to the gala, which myself and Caesar Jason Scotus Lupus hope to make an annually event for the Wilderness Commonwealth. Come join us at the Wilderness Sanguine Gala.

Also there was another letter attached to the message from the Wilderness King of Mallardius. This letter would give guidelines on what the foreigners would have to follow within the Wilderness Commonwealth.

Guidelines of the Wilderness Sanguine Gala;

Each head of state, or government official, is allow to bring one guest with them. Note, there will a limit on what type of weaponry allowed within the Wilderness Sanguine Gala and the Wilderness Commonwealth. No firearms on any type and no explosive of any type. Ceremonial weapon will be allowed, as long as they aren't a firearm or explosive.

Each head of state, or government official, have been cleared to land at the Wolfwatch air-Naval Base attached to the Coastal Fortress City of Raath Caelora. A luxury helicopter will deliver each head of state, or government official, plus guest to the Sanguine Palace.

Dress guidelines for all guest;

For men; suits or military dress uniforms
For women; evening gowns or military dress uniforms

Security for the Wilderness Sanguine Gala;

Within the Wilderness Sanguine Gala, members of the Wardens, the Royal Guardsmen of the Wilderness Commonwealth of Mallardius, protectors of the House of Raelgyreon, will be providing protection to all guests. The grounds of the Sanguine Palace will protection by a joint brigade; of the 37th Roach Busters, of the 46th Red Bulls and of the 38th Oliver's Bulls.

The skies above of the Coastal Fortress City of Raath Caelora will be guarded by a joint operation of the United Dominion Air Force and United Dominion Air Fleet.

Wilderness Commonwealth territorial waters are under the protection of the United Dominion Navy. The waters of Raath Caelora are protected by elements of the Coastal Knights of the United Dominion Navy.

Raath Caelora

The Coastal Fortress City of Raath Caelora, located in the far south of the Wilderness Commonwealth, was a dwarven build city that over looked the Strait of Esterboro between the Wilderness Commonwealth land and the unclaimed land to the south. Raath Caelora bore the same designs of the Fortress City of Dreatos and could nearly house the same population at the capital. The Wilderness Commonwealth had other cities like Raath Caelora on the southern coastline and north of Raath Caelora. Unlike the fortress cities build inland, the coastal fortress cities have only three massive walls surrounding the city leaving the waterside to be lined with stone docks. Throughout the years, these cities have been updated as new technology was introduce into the world.

Wolfwatch Air-Naval Base, a joint base of the United Dominion Air Force and United Dominion Navy, was within a mile of Raath Caelora to the west. Wolfwatch bore the same dwarven walls surrounding the base. Unlike Raath Caelora, the base's stone have grew in length in the Strait of Esterboro to handle the larger ships of the United Dominion Navy like the Negaphoenix-class Battleships. Within Wolfwatch there was a full airbase with runways that could land even large cargo planes. Two hangers within the base housed the luxury helicopters, painted gloss black and bored the crest of the two royal houses, Wolf and Raelgyreon, hosting the Wilderness Sanguine Gala. Each helicopter would be waiting, fueled with pilots, for each of the foreign head of state, or government officials.

Two fleets of the United Dominion Navy would be active in the territorial waters claimed by the Wilderness Commonwealth. In the north waters was the UDN Geri, Hood-class Super-dreadnought, and Her support vessels running exercises. Near the water close to Raath Caelore was other Hood-class Super-dreadnought, the UDN Freki and Her support vessels also running exercises. Each fleet was at half strength, just enough to keep the Hoods from being overran and destroyed. The vessels of the Coastal Knights were active patrolling up to two miles of territorial claimed waters.

The Sanguine Palace sat on a thousand acre estate near the center of Raath Caelora was the summer home of the royal house of the Wilderness Commonwealth. A number of helipads were located on the eastern edge of the estate, on the edge of the small base for the Wardens. Armored vehicles, bearing the flags of the United Dominion and the Wilderness Commonwealth, would deliver each of the foreign head of state, or government officials to the Sanguine Palace.

On the drive to the Sanguine Palace, the guests would see the likes of LY4A1 Wolfhound MBTs and Pz.Kpf.W AY2-1E "Panthera Tigris" MBTs, along with other army vehicles all painted in urban camo pattern. Soldiers, wearing Transylvanian body armor Series One MOD VI also urban camo pattern, would be seen either stationed or patrolling the grounds. Those of the 37th Roach Busters would be armed with a Black Thirteen Assault Rifles, a LY46 'Hellhammer' .50cal handgun, and a Mark 5 Tactical Gladius. Those of the 46th Red Bulls would be armed with an Armatax M2018A1 NeoThompsons and a LY46 'Hellhammer' .50cal handguns.

Within the halls of the Sanuine Palace, the Wardens, dressed in a black tunic, dress pant, brown straps holding the dark red armor on each shoulder that bore the gold melting eyes of Raelgyreon and dark red beart that bore the crest of the Royal House of Raelgyreon, would be armed with an Imperial Service Rifle Mark IV in black walnut and a LY46 'Hellhammer' .50cal handguns. Strapped to each of there sides was an unholy mix of a true bowie knife and elven short sword. The Wardens would be stationed throughout the halls and rooms of the palace, rifles at parade rest, but they would be always watching.

Near the rear of the place was the grand room, which would be where the gala would be held. The grand room was a near perfect circle in shape with ceiling to floor windows at the back that overlooked a well maintained flower garden. Four large columns, that looked like the redwoods the Wilderness Commonwealth was famous for, held the roof up. At the center of the room was a dance floor, the left would be where the musicians would be set up. On the right would be where the caterers would be set up, servants ready and waiting to deliver whatever the guests of the gala would want be it food or drink. Near the main door of the grand room would be a Captain of the Wardens to announce each guests as they arrived at the Sanguine Palace.

[Mokastana]

Leadership of the Federation had been busy, with Foreign Minister Elizabeth Franshaw booked on back to back Galas, and the President leading the nation through the Morridane crisis on the border. The People's Unified Federation was short of leaders it could send to the opposite end of Greater Dienstad for a Gala. Traditionally, a Head of State would go, but Aqua Anu was even farther East than Mokastana, Prime Minister Allen Gardener of Wellovia was still recovering from his first international trip, and Motokata was still dealing with the bureaucratic mess of unification. Any of the Mokan leaders could represent the Federation in theory, but actual members of Federal government were preferred. Still, they had been asked, and international relations were an important part of Federal doctrine.

Therefore, Jose Vincent, Presiding Senator(Head of the Federal Senate), would be the one to go. A career politician, Jose had been instrumental in bringing down Henry Milano after it was revealed Henry had illegally started the Fascism War. Although the war did successfully bring about a free Castille, wars should be declared by the Senate, not a President. Now Jose's party held the Presidency, all in all making him even more influential.

He would bring his wife, a woman only a couple years older than him. A fellow soldier who scoffed at the idea of wearing a formal gown to an event. Still, she would humor their host, and choose instead to wear a Federal military uniform. Although her husband had only ever been enlisted, she had gone on to officer training, and retired as a Captain. She would no doubt be one of the lowest ranks present, but she had spent her youth fighting capitalists in the Islander Civil Wars. What did she have to fear from politicians?

The couple passed by the military presentations, and joked about the ridiculous recoil from a Hellhammer. Of course, the weapon entered Federal service after their time in the military, so utilizing such a weapon without a stock seemed ridiculous.

Soon they were in the Grand Room, getting refreshments and enjoying the view. Who knew what they would get up to on the other side of Greater Dienstad, but time would tell.

[Haishan]

Ever since annexation of failed State of Istegium at hands of Imperial States of Coltarin, Techno-Induscracy of Haishan had been largely removed from volatile international dynamics of Greater Dienstad. Nevertheless, there were still some geopolitical decisions undertook by Haize leadership such as unpublicized agreements for Haize military basing in foreign nations, a first in Haize history after collapse of Haize Technocracy at the turn of twentieth century and joint space exploration with Colonial Commonwealth Authority to the infinity and beyond.

The third move was a controversial plan to accept Ralkovian refugees after disintegration of Ralkovian Grand Empire but it was still being hotly debated at Haize Lower Assembly; old guards hailing from previous Haize administration insisted they must not forget old ties with Ralkovians but internationally-minded Haize argued they shouldn't risk anger from greater community of the region.

In the end however, the power to decide was beholden to Haize Military Commission or more infamously termed as Haize Junta by Haize former apparatchiks that dreamed of the good old days where their words were law to the letter. The current Haishan State is still in the state of limbo, executive-ly speaking as pro-revolutionaries that couped the Technocracy had seen the result of popular vote and were unwilling to incite the second coming of Technocracy of which social experiment had costed the populace psyche, spirit and materiel.

Therefore, Haize top leadership isn't driven by emotions or fickle political commitments but pure, raw and unadulterated calculus. Theory of Operations, robust physics and rigorous mathematical equations to denote everything and anything. In shorter words, Haize leadership have a pragmatic approach to the world around the nation. For example, Haize top brass found no faults to maintain some semblance of diplomatic relations to Greater Ordenite Reich of United World Order or the regionally-viled Grand Ralkovian Empire despite how minimal such relations were.

The same was being applied in the next Haize foray into muddled waters of Greater Dienstad, by agreeing to what was proposed by Wilderness King of Mallardius, presumably the reigning monarch of a unique nation never seen in Haize history textbooks or the higher academia. Haize leadership understood that they were a polity consisting of curious mix of humans, elves, were-beings and dwarves. Haize comprehension regarding them were as equal as Haize understanding of existence of cat-people in one of distant lands of People Unified Federation of Mokastana; Haize understood they existed but had never physically encountered any, let alone speak to one.

Such beings were better known to Haishan as fantastical and mythical lifeforms in fantasy adventure games and thus the concepts weren't foreign to greater Haize populace at large, at least. Haize Military Commission therefore directed two top Haize officials namely Colonel-General Vasily-Tokov from General Staff of Haize Armed Forces and External Relations Minister Lenients-Sava from Haize External Ministry to attend in person as goodwill toward the enigmatic Mallardius Commonwealth. Both men represent the highest official diplomatic capacity of the Techno-Induscracy; Vasily-Tokov represents Haize Armed Forces and by extension Haize Military Commission while Lenients-Sava represents Haize public interests such as from Haize technical institutes, manufacturing Concerns and associated sectors.

The Colonel-General understandably came in standard dull-grey Haize military uniform with dark-red epaulettes of little furnishing and a dark blue kepi with silver-coloured Haize symbology of hammer and gear while Leniets-Sava wore standard dark-grey executive business suit with dark-blue tie. The two men attire also highlighted Haize utilitarian and pragmatic view of function over form, free of embellishment and frills that were common to foreign dignitaries. Like the earlier Mokan dignitaries, the Haize duo also went through the grandiose reception given the hosts with varying yet muted expressions.

Vasily-Tokov slightly raised his eyebrows at apparent tour de force of the hosts; the Colonel General was informed on exercise conducted by Dominionite Hood-class Super-dreadnought, superships that can be apt described as ultra-large missile barges. Haize analogue was the Sigma-class battlecruiser albeit three times smaller and even then there were calls from certain quarters of Haize Armed Forces to decommission them upon acceptance of Haize maneuvering hypersonic weapons.

Up in the skies Dominionite airships patrolled the airways and cast huge shadows wherever they went. The Colonel-General had some skepticism on such assets but other parts of Haize General Staff, particularly the group representing interests of Haize Aerospace Forces continued to advocate those flying things on basis of enhancing missile defenses. That debate was especially sour as different parties in Haize General Staff had their own respective plans of what constitute 'optimal defense strategy'. As it involved allocation of State budgets, the discussion can be said to be quite hot to the arguers and listeners.

Next were the armoured fighting vehicle line-up throughout the way to Sanguine Palace which display was indeed impressive considering the cost and technical capabilities of Lyran-made vehicles as they were large, bulky and powerful to boot. Were they necessary expense considering each and every Lyran equipment commanded a mighty price? Perhaps only the Dominionites knew on practicality and utility of such weapon systems. Next the Haize Colonel-General observed the Dominionite soldiers that escorted and stood guard on the way to aforementioned venue. Majority of them stood a couple of centimetre taller than most adult males and carried significant number of weapons; their service rifles, the infamous 'wrist-breaker' Lyran Hellhammer and various kinds of melee weapons.

When he gave them a second glance, it was obvious on how they could carry so much; he had heard of certain polities in Greater Dienstad using the so-called power armour, a fully motorized exoskeleton with its own protective armour for the user. It was subtle but Vasily-Tokov found no other explanation for them to carry what seemed to be something more than ten kilograms on hours at a time. There were talks in Haishan to use similar devices but insofar the consensus was to invest in minimally-attended weapon systems such as remotely or semi-autonomous robots.

Leniets-Sava analysed the situation differently; the minister was curious on how the Commonwealth managed to arrange all of these in the first place. Operating costs of big ships were, obviously, large. He had the fortune to attend one of many meetings between Haize Defense Ministry and other relevant branches of Haize semi-civilian government. Sigma-class warships had eye-watering costs, rivalling some of the newest Haize submarines. For similar funds allotted to such machines, he felt he could push forward numerous outreach programs to facilitate international understanding and cooperation such as on improving transnational logistics. What about the superships employed by Mallardius Commonwealth? He was pretty sure for the same amount of money, multiple cities or research institutes could've been built.

The minister was more receptive on the idea of airships as not every problem can be solved with conventional transports. Trades with People Unified Federation of Mokastana had been booming but developing new infrastructures to support such efforts proved to be quite a challenge on multiple levels. Haize-Mokan border was basically dense forests inaccessible to most commercial transports. Airships can simply fly above such inconveniences and uses less fuel than aircraft transport. Nevertheless, Leniets-Sava was informed that Dominionite airships here were largely military in nature, as part of the Commonwealth's defensive means.

On the bevy of armoured vehicles on parade throughout the way to Sanguine Palace, the minister viewed it in the geopolitical angle; not every nation could purchase such equipment as Lyran Protectorate had stringent rules on who could operate their top of the line devices. Presumably the Mallardius Commonwealth enjoyed quite the political clout to use extensive types of Lyran-made armoured fighting vehicles. The Haize minister additionally had almost similar thought as the Colonel-General in terms of cost of these vehicles. Each one was priced in excess of seven million nationstates dollars and counting, not yet accounting for their associated training and maintenance. Then, could it be that the Dominion not only had friendly relations of Lyran Protectorate but also had significant monetary reserves?

Leniets-Sava also briefly glanced at the Dominionite soldiers and found their uniforms and equipment interesting. His eyes were specifically drawn to some of exotic melee weapons carried by some of the soldiers namely the so-called 'elven short sword'. If by normal fantasy-esque logic, wielders of such swords should be elves albeit their comprehensive uniform made it difficult for Leniets-Sava to identify from afar. What he knew was that they were the special infantry of House of Raelgyreon, the reigning nobility of the Commonwealth. Both Haize dignitaries eventually reached the designated venue, a grand hall located in Sanguine Palace's territory.

It seemed Dominionite hosts truly went all-out to impress the visiting foreign representatives. Aforementioned hall showcased the art splendour of House Raelgyreon with intricate tapestry and magnificent craftsmanship. Musical notes can heard, neither overbearing or servile. They were calming, relaxing and invited feelings of freshness to the Haize guests. The refreshment section was no less stellar, displaying variety of the best Dominionite cuisines with mouth-watering deliciousness and appetite-invoking scents. The garden outside perfectly complemented the overall regality of the palace, artisanally arranged to help wash away any stress and fatigue accumulated from high level diplomatic interactions. The Haize duo sequentially introduced themselves to the waiting Captain of Wardens; Vasily-Tokov gave a formal forty-five-degree military salute while Leniets-Sava gave a slight bow and a smile before entering the main hall.
