[PANGANIA]

Year: 1978
-1965 Pangania's King begins a purging of military officers and generals deemed untrustworthy leading to tensions between the monarchy and military.

-1966 Civil war breaks out in Pangania between the military and the monarchy.

-1967 The Kingdom of Wesgarna intervenes in the civil war, but their forces are beaten by the Panganian military.

-1970 Pangania's monarchy is overthrown and exiled in a military coup lead by General Pookio. Pookio installs himself as a dictator and begins rebuilding the nation which sees an increase in military size.

-1976 Pangania launches a surprise attack on Wesgarna. Launching lighting fast airstrikes on Wesgarna's airports and military bases. Crippling the Wesgarna's airforce and army allowing Pangania to gain huge amount of land, before Wesgarna is able to regroup their military and form a defensive. Following this success Pangania launches surprise attacks on Ruskong and Demaka, but Pangania is quickly halted and only gains tiny amount of ground.

-1977 Charlan is encircled by Panganian troops and a desperate attempt to save it is being made by the Wesgarnan military as it holds the name of their king. Meanwhile in Demaka and Ruskong, Pangania has begun the use of chemical warfare and strategic bombing of the cities in a desperate attempt to force a surrender.
