Global Simulator is a geopolitical RP set in many different parts of history. For instance, the third one was set in 1900. The fourth, the 1920s. The latest one, Global Sim 6, will be set just before WW2.
This isn't some regular RP like most others set before or during WW2! This one allows you far more freedom than you can find in other RPs, while still adhering to some degree of realism. Imagine a world where Brazil has a colonial outpost in Qingdao! A world where Germany has concessions in South America! A world where India bloody implodes into two halves. Where WW1 starts in 1901 instead of 1914, and plunges the whole world into darkness much earlier than it did in real life.
You can see the absolute annihilation of Kabul by French artillery. The obliteration of China in a way that makes the Sino-Japanese War look like a walk through a sunflower field. You can cause as much destruction as your heart wills, and commit as many atrocities as you want.
So why haven't you joined yet? There can only be two answers.
