PROTESTS BEING HELD IN BŪRRLŒ CITY AGAINST THE SOCIALIST GOVERNMENT
Protests, peaceful of course, are being demonstrated all across Būrrlœ City against the socialist regime. Some of the signs in the protests read, "A FREE MARKET FOR THE FREE PEOPLE", "GIVE US BACK OUR CORPORATIONS", and "TWO PARTIES ARE BETTER THAN ONE". Local police officers arrived at the scene to help stanch the protests. The Durrnilian leader said this in a statement today, "We will take further precautions to eliminate the start of protests in each and every republic".

The S.P.U.S.S.R. has used two nukes on Brasilistan, as of this afternoon at 12:30 pm English time, today on the 11th of May, 2020 ending their war over Soviet hostages held by Brasilistan. The Soviets have annexed several states near their border for their diamond mines & oil. A puppet government has also been set up in Brasilistan to prevent further disputes, rumours circulating that the puppet government is only temporary, & will soon be annexed.

MARTIAL LAW DECLARED IN BŪRRLŒ PROVINCE AFTER PROTESTS ESCALATE

May 13, 2020 Martial law is declared after protests in Būrrlœ Province block roads and start clashes among police, who have patrolled the area after the protests two days ago. Protesters have started posting videos on Vædon, the country's most popular video posting service, trying to push their point to protest to the general public. The protests were still peaceful, but blocked people from performing their everyday lives. Aside from Būrrlœ City, protests have sprung up in smaller cities and towns like Gædón, in the western part of Būrrlœ province. An anonymous protester said in response to why the protests are happening, "We want our private businesses back. We cannot have the government nationalizing every private company there is. The market must be free for the economy to be free. Also, we can't be restrained to just voting for two candidates in one party. The people of Drew Durrnil want to vote for one candidate each for two parties." The chief of police in Būrrlœ Province asked for the the Elite President of Drew Durrnil, Jœrdún Aucré, for martial law in certain areas of Būrrlœ province. The Elite President accepted, noting that the protesters might start a civil war in the country. Aucré said this in a press conference today: "The martial law will commence in Būrrlœ County, Gædón County, Sènmar County, and Yūrmæn County, effective immediately. The said counties will be guarded by members of the Durrnilian Army with day and night shifts, and will reside at the Būrrlœ West, Būrrlœ Metro, and Būrrlœ East Encampments. The army will enforce a curfew of 8:00 PM, and the punishment for breaking the curfew is a $1,000 bon fine, increasing by $1,000 bons for each offense."
