Liberia Under Attack!
Boko Haram, Ansaru, AQIM and allies take aim at Liberia, launch massive bombing campaign across country

Monrovia - Early this morning on July 3, more than a hundred bombings have been reported across Liberia, more than half of those at the Capitol Hill District of Monrovia. At 5:33 am, three high explosive bombs detonated at the Executive Mansion followed by reports of gunfire from within the Mansion, engulfing it in flames. Two bombs detonated at the Capitol Building at 5:49 am followed by gunfire, which was reported by Security forces that were quickly eliminated afterwards. Several more bombs were reported in Robertsport, Grand Cess, Harbel, and Greenville, with reports of gunfire following all of those bombings. At 7:49 am, Monrovia Police and EMS personnel confirmed the deaths of President George Weah, Clar Weah and his children in the subsequent fire that burned the entire mansion down before First Responders could arrive. The Minister of Defense has also been confirmed dead after Police responded to reports of gunfire at his home. Several other high ranking government officials, including Chief Justice Francis_Korkpor, President pro tempore Albert Chie and Inspector-General of the Police Patrick Sudue. No reports of casualties have been reported in the Capitol Building bombing, but over 178 civilians have been confirmed killed in the bombings across Liberia and counting. At 8:36 am, representatives of Boko Haram, Ansaru, al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb, and several supporting Islamic factions have taken responsibility for the attacks and confirmed that "more are coming and that this was only the first move in a highly coordinated and planned series of assaults before taking over Liberia."

Vice President Jewel Taylor was sworn in as emergency acting President of Liberia at 9:06 am and troops of the Armed Forces of Liberia have mobilized to Monrovia, where reports of gunfire are confirmed between Liberian National Police and masked insurgents wearing black clothing and wielding assault weapons of varying make. With the death of Minister of Defense Ziankhan, Deputy Minister for Operations Saint Jerome Larbelee has been sworn in as emergency acting Minister of Defense. Additional explosions were reported at Barclay Training Center, resulting in twenty-three deaths, one of which was the Chief of Staff, Major General Prince Johnson. At 10:37, all U.S. advisors and foreign assets have been evacuated.

At 10:55, Liberian Police forces in Monrovia are overrun, taking heavy casualties from insurgent fighters and improvised vehicular explosive devices, pushing all officers back to the National Police Headquarters at Capitol Hill. Monrovia, the capital city of Liberia, is reported to be in enemy hands.

President Taylor is requesting any international aid be provided.

Fighting in Liberia intensifies as international support rallies

Monrovia - As more than 100,000 troops from Kasantia, Alba and Cymru, Eclius and the Federalis Imperium mobilize to assist Liberia, fighting across the country has quickly escalated as insurgent forces capture vast swathes of the country, more than 50,000 fighters rushing into the country from Sierra Leone, the Ivory Coast, and Guinea. As of 5:45 pm, President Taylor and her staff have been evacuated from Liberia to allied Spain while Liberian forces take heavy casualties as explosions ring out across Monrovia, droves of black-clothed terrorists march down the streets utilizing AK-47s and gun trucks. Liberian National Police Headquarters in Monrovia is captured as videos of Liberian soldiers being executed take to the airways across YouTube and many other social media websites. The coalition of Boko Haram, Ansaru, and AQIM demand all foreign forces do not enter Liberia, claiming the country as their own.

All remaining Liberian troops are rallying at the Greenville/Sinoe Airport, the last friendly held position left in Liberia.

After a first analysis of various intelligence reports, satellites images, etc; General Irving Farett orders a first flight of F18 Gehen Sturnet fighters to take off from the carriers SAIS Nimitz and SAIS Oppra Oppdack, armed with white phophorus and napalm, to begin bombing runs around the Greenville/Sinoe airport, in order to give friendly forces some space.
In the meantime, naval cruisers have loaded shells with chlorine gas and shoot them at various terrorists ouposts.

Greenville/Sinoe Airport

"Contact Left! Engage, engage!" Yelled a Liberian soldier as he ran from his former cover to one of the Streit Cougar armored vehicles, unloading rounds from it's PKM into the droves of insurgents. Behind him, a Liberian soldier attempted to join him, running across an open space, his last mistake. A bullet struck him in the head, causing his body to fall limp. "Man down!" Yelled one of the Liberians. Soldiers continued to drop as their thin defensive circle around the Airport began to collapse. The last three hundred soldiers of the Liberian Armed Forces were barely half that number now.

"Left flank is collapsing! Redirect men there now!" Yelled Captain Akumbe as he reloaded the PKM, dropping three insurgents that got brave and ran from the cover of one of their guntrucks.

"Reinforcements are here!" Yelled a Private as the Liberian Armed Forces' sole Mi-24 arrived on scene, ripping through the lines of insurgents with the twin-barrel autocannons. The cabin door opened up, revealing two Liberian soldiers who also opened fire with their AK-47s. Liberian troops on the ground began to cheer as an insurgent guntruck exploded and nearly a dozen insurgents were torn to shreds as the Mi-24 ripped through them.

"RPG!" Yelled Captain Akumbe, watching the trail of smoke it left behind before impacting on the side of the tail rotor, breaking it off and sending the gunship into a spin. As it lost altitude quickly, the Liberian soldiers inside jumped, hoping to survive somehow, only to be faced with broken legs as they hit the ground. The Mi-24 smashed into the ground, exploding and taking six nearby Liberians with it. Captain Akumbe's eyes grew wide as he watched the left flank collapse completely, Insurgent forces rushing through, shooting some Liberians in the back as they ran.

Then it hit. Curtains of fire and massive explosions all along the Insurgent lines as Imperium jets flew overhead, providing much needed relief as the Liberians began to mop up the insurgents who were in the perimeter. "All forces, regroup! Check your mags! Get those PKMs back into position! Take any ammo from the bodies you can! This isn't over yet." He said as he waited the first wave of foreign reinforcements.

"Admiral, I need to know how long it will take us to get to Liberia!" said the prince as he looked at the map with the state of the front in Liberia.

"It will be two hours before our fleet and the transport ships arrives. The fighters however will have arrived in Liberia in half an hour."the admiral replied.

"Admiral, looking at the situation and after the telephone conversation I had with the president, you understand that the situation is serious. The Liberian army is struggling. We need to arrive in Liberia as fast as we can!"

"Yes, your majesty. Do you have a plan for when we arrive?"

"First, I want half of our air force to scout the area where we will land our forces, see how many insurgents there is in the beach and in the surrounding areas. The rest of the air force will support the Liberians. Then, the fleet will bombard the beach before we land the infantry. I want as more accuracy as possible, so we inflict casualties and low the enemy's morale. Then, we will attack and capture the beach. With the new infantry tactics and the naval and air support, it wont be hard for us to capture the beach. Then, I want the rest of the air force to support the Liberian army which has lost more than their half soldiers. As long as we secure the coast line and the surrounding areas, we will attack the insurgents who are attacking the Liberian army from behind. We will have them surrounded. Dont worry, our soldiers are trained to fight into territories like the liberia's. We will fight them as hard and quickly as we can so we force them to surrender or retreat. We need to relieve the Liberian forces."

" That's a good plan your majesty. But we need to be careful."said the admiral with administration.

"Always, admiral."said Theofanes. "Now excuse me, but I must call my father to talk about the plan. I want to know his opinion."

Operation Urgent Shield

The ship pitched in the heavy seas along the coast. To make the best time the frigate had not diverted from the path of a severe storm like most of the other shipping had. It had crashed head long through the heavy waters for hours now, but was soon to be free of it and able to begin operations. As the ship pitched Captain von Dreklin outlined the plan he and the marine commander had come up with in the dimly lit Combat Information Center.

“Alright ladies and gents. This is the plan so far.” He began looking over his senior staff. Good men that had weathered many storms with him.

“Situation: We have three groups of Korrodosian nationals requiring evacuation from hot zones in the Liberian Capitol of Monrovia.” He gestured to the wall tv which quickly displayed a map of the city.

“Groups one and two are at the outskirts of the city, here… and here. We will evac these two groups under cover of darkness via the ship’s helicopters. The marine detachment will provide security and search if necessary. We have comms with both units. One is Korrodosian Red Cross, the other is a Literacy NGO.”

He paused a moment to let things sink in. “The more difficult of the two is a civilian mining contractor who was setting up a new regional office when things ticked off. They have approximately 20 personnel and are scattered here… and here… we think. We have had no comms in 24 hours with them. We will land a shore party to extricate via the ship’s landing craft and RHIBs. Helos will fly distraction and cover fire but the urban area is probably to dense for them to be very effective. Final assignments will be handed out by our Marine Detachment Commander after the briefing.

Now, Enemy Forces: There are many heavily armed insurgents roaming around the capital fighting the national troops. Various small arms and technical are available to them, heavier weaponry is unlikely but we will be prepared for it if it does arise. Expect a lot of close quarters fighting. The ship will provide gunfire if able to, and I quote directly from the Emperor ‘Reasonably assure that civilian casualties are not inflicted.’ You know what that means, no lobbing shells into the heart of the city, but if we can blast a group of insurgents in the open, we are going to take it.

“Okay, friendly forces: We are attempting to establish communications with other units in the area, there are a number of other nations involved in this, and the potential for an unintentional crossed wire is great. We are also trying to contact someone from the Liberian army to announce our intentions. We are staunchly supporting the Liberian Army once our own assets are taken care of. We are on our own as far as Korrodosian Forces are involved for at least 48 hours. This is a stretch for us, we do not normally have a presence in this part of the world, but we are just lucky to pick this up.” A few laughs at that. The Captain smiled, good, no one was too worried to laugh.

“The next asset available for us is the Airship Korolis, two days away, but with a complement of V-22s, VTOL Fighters and marines. Twelve hours after that is another airship loaded with supplies and humanitarian equipment.

Commanders Intent: We will extricate our nationals from the hostile zone, regroup, and prepare ourselves for the second phase of the operation which is national stabilization and humanitarian assistance. Any questions?”

The Captain looked around. No one had anything. “Ok good. Lets get ready to fight.”
If there was one thing he loved about his crew, it was that they were always ready for a fight.

Two and a half hours later.

The last terrorist battalion was captured. The Kasantians were after a small battle that lasted half an hour victorious. The terrorists, after the naval bombardment and the massive attack of the Kasantian forces, surrendered. Theofanes was walking on the beach, observing the ground when an officer approached him.

"Officer Ratnitz, I want to know about the casualties we inflicted and the casualties we substained immediately."

"The bombardment killed 210 terrorists and injured 500. The attack killed 477 terrorists and injured 132. The rest 1249 terrorists are captured. We have 47 Kasantians dead or injured."

"Excellent work. Everything is going according to the plan. Now, send 4000 men to secure the surrounding areas and another 5000 to support the Liberian army. The rest soldiers will come as long as we secure the surrounding areas. I am putting you in charge of the 5000 men. Prepare to go and help the Liberian forces. We need to help them as fast as we can!" Theofanes commanded Ratintz.

"Yes, your majesty."Ratintz replied.

Ratintz salute the prince and left. Theofanes continued to walk around the beach with his bodyguard. Then he turned around and saw the 5000 who where marching forward. He smiled. He felt proud for the Kasantian army. He headed to the rest of his army. He saw some of his soldiers leading the prisoners to the ships, where they will be held. He looked at them with discuss. He continued to advance towards the ships. He arrived in front of the rest of his army. As soon as the soldiers saw him, they made the national salute and stood up. He asked the bodyguard to go and find his megaphone so every soldier could hear him. After a while, when he got his megaphone, he started talking.

"Soldiers of Kasantia, you did an excellent job all of you. You fought well. Now, we will wait for the 4000 soldiers to secure the surrounding areas, so our lines will be safe. Then, we will support the soldiers who were sent to help the Liberian army. We will help all those innocent citizens who are suffering under occupation of those terrorists! We will also show the world, the mighty of the Kasantian army and the KMF! Until then, everybody rest! Long live Kasantia! Down with the terrorism!"

After he finished his speech, the soldiers started to cheer and they rhythmically shouted his name. He smiled.

Greenville/Sinoe Airport

After the Imperium airstrikes, the wildlands beyond the airport still burned brightly, ensuring that insurgent forces would be forced to give the struggling Liberian Army time to regroup and plan a method of defense that could withstand such an immense fighting force. Captain Akumbe was now the last, highest ranking military officer of the already tiny armed forces of the Republic. Colonel Tihlane previously held the title along with the 3rd Infantry Brigade, but communications were lost with the unit after a failed attempt to retake Monrovia. Now, as international aid grew closer, communications were finally established between Captain Akumbe and the Korrodosian Captain von Dreklin.

"Captain von Dreklin, this is Captain Akumbe, commanding officer of 2nd Battalion, or what's left of it. Your Ops have informed me of what you plan to do. I must advise you, Captain, that we've lost contact with Colonel Tihlane's Third Brigade after he pushed to recapture Monrovia. As of now, Monrovia is completely in enemy hands and I've got less than a hundred men to defend this airport with. We're tired but if your men need local support, I'll give you what I can spare, including myself. If there's any way we can get your people out, let's do it. We do have an Mi-2 transport on stand-by if you need it." Said Akumbe just as explosions sounded in the distance, more air strikes conducted by Kasantian air forces.

"Sir." Said a young Corporal, saluting as he spoke. Captain Akumbe turned to see him. His woodland camo uniform was dirty and sagged with sweat, the Liberian flag on his shoulder was stained with dirt and some blood. He wore no helmet, only a black baseball cap, cradling his AK-47 in his hands. "What is it, young one?" Said the Captain.

"National Police units holding in Plibo have just been wiped out, sir. Before they went offline, counts indicated there was at least five thousand AQIM fighters heading this way. We've also got a militia unit up in Zwedru that nearly two thousand additional hostiles are inbound to take the town." Captain Akumbe fumed with anger.

"Damn this government...if we had a real fighting force, we could have held our own. Damn them! We can't help the Korrodosians, defend this airport and repulse those troops at the same time. Our attack helicopter is down, I've pledged our transport to the Korrodosians, and we've lost our propeller planes in Monrovia. Any of our neighbors coming to our aid?" Asked the Captain.

"We've had reports of gunfire on the border with the Ivory Coast, but nothing else." Said the Corporal.

"Thank you, Corporal. Get back to your post." Said Akumbe as he looked out over the flames from the earlier strikes, which were now beginning to fizzle out.

In an instant, M1A3 Adams MBTs, IFVs, MRAPs, Light Tactical Vvehicles, and hundreds of men are dropped from the back doors of the planes As all the vehicles hit the ground on the north side of the city, they immedialty set into action and engage hostile forces, as the C 18 Albatros turn back to where they came from.

Officer Ratnitz and the 5000 Kasantians were marching towards the Sinoe Airport. Ratnitz was on a jip while the soldiers were marching on foot. Every soldier could hear the explosions of the airstrikes of the Kasantian Air Force. Ratnitz was sitting in the rear seats of the car. Next to him was the lieutenant George Kasper. Ratnitz turned his head at Kasper.
''Tell me, lieutenant, do we have any news from the other countries which are helping Liberia too?''
''Yes sir. At this moment, more than 200 Astarian C-18 albatros are flying over Monrovia preparing to send soldiers to recapture the city by air. Meanwhile, we've had reports of gunfire on the border with the Ivory Coast near the rest of our army, but it is believed that it was nothing more than a skirmish fight. Details are uknown.''
''So, the Astrian army is preparing to attack Monrovia from inside? That's dangerous. We need to support them!''
''Sir, I dont think it's a good idea. We have orders. I think we must follow them.''
''I know what the orders are!''said Ratnitz.'' But I have a plan. We will send 2500 men and the 25 fighters to support the Astrians. Meanwhile, the rest of the force will strike the insurgents on the sinoe airport. That way, we follow the orders AND we achieve double victory! I am sure that we will defeat them easily and we will be awarded for freeing Monrovia!''said with optimism painted in the eyes.
'' I dont know sir...I mean, there is a reason the prince ordered all 5000 soldiers to support the Liberians in Greensville. Don't forget that Monrovia is too far away. Maybe we should...''
'' In how many battles has our prince actually taken part? Zero! Don't get me wrong, I am loyal to the crown and the people of Kasantia, but he is very young to command! What does he know about strategy?'' And don't forget that we are facing some militiamen! They probably don't have any proper equipment or training!''
For a while, Kasper didn't say anything. He didn't know what to say. He thought that Ratnitz was right.
'' Alright sir, we will have it your way. You are more experianced after all...''
''That's what I want to hear!''said Ratnitz and ordered with a gesture the army to stop. The army stopped marching. He went out of the car and with a megaphone, started to speaking.

''Soldiers, we will now split in two halfs. One half will be under my command and will march towards the Sinoe airport and the other half will march as fast as it cans to attack the terrorists on Monrovia. You will face a small, inexperianced force. Victory will be easy. Let's show those Liberians and Artasians how to fight! The half which will recapture Monrovia will be under the command of lieutenant George Kasper. Long live Kasantia, down with the terrorism!''

The soldiers cheered. Ratnitz smiled.

After 30 minutes, 2500 soldiers under Kasper started marching towards Monorvia and the rest 2500 men continued to march towards Sinoe airport.

After 1 hour, somewhere near Trade city

The army was marching forward. Kasper was confident about the attack on the city. They were passing through the forest. Then it happened. The first shots. Kasper immediately went out of his car and drawed his pistol.
'' ALERT! WE ARE BEING AMBUSHED!''he shouted as the gunshots were becoming more dense. In a minute, 79 Kasantians were killed. The Kasantian soldiers were panicking.They started shooting in every direction, but they couldn't see the terrorists. They were hiding in the trees. Another 120 Kasantians died. The Kasantians started to scattered in order to be more difficult to be targeted. Kasper was shooting on the trees. 6 men were around him. One of them fell dead after 10 seconds. He was followed by the other 2.
''WE ARE SURROUNDED!''shouted one of the men.
''THE WHOLE ARMY IS UNDER ATTACK!''shouted another one.
''THE REARGUARD IS COLLAPSING! SIR, WHAT SHOULD WE DO?''yelled one of the soldiers who were with Kasper to him.
''EVERYONE, FALL BACK! 100 MEN WILL COVER OUR RETREAT! THE REST WILL FALL BACK TO SUPPORT THE REARGUARD!''Kasper yelled as he reloaded his C96 pistol, killing 4 insurgents who were exposed. Immediately, some Kasantians formed up and started to open fire by rank. As they fired on the trees, the rest of the Kasantians including Kasper, started to fall back. The men who were covering the retreat suffered heavy casualties. Most of them started falling. Kasper was yelling to the soldiers while they were retreating. After 20 minutes of retreat, the vanguard reached the rearguard. It was worse than Kasper thought. Countless Kasantians were laying in the ground covered in blood, while the survivors were firing desperately in every direction. When they saw the vanguard, the survivors started to gain hope. Kasper and the rest of his men scattered into the trees around the survivors of the rearguard. They started shooting every terrorist they saw. Kasper led the attack. But it wasn't enough. Many men were falling dead. Kasper saw a terrorist saw ready to shoot a Kasantian on the back. He shoted him and saved the soldier. But before he can do anything else, a terrorist saw him and with his AK-47, shot Kasper on the neck. Kasper fell dead. One soldier behind him shouted:
''OFFICER DOWN!''
The rest of the soldiers after the news of Kasper's death, fixed bayonets. They attacked the enemy desperetely with a bayonet charge. They started stabbing any terrorist the found. But stil, they subsained heavy casualties. After a little, they started to retreat. Under heavy fire, they started running back to the River Cess, where prince Theofanes and the rest of the army were. Suddenly, they heard the sound of airplanes. Then, they sawed some jets firing at the trees. They were the Artasian Air force. The terrorists stopped shooting and the survivors found the opportunity to flee.

Half an hour later, River Cess, Kasantian Camp

''So, is everything under control?''said the voice on the telephone.
''Yes father. We succesfully landed on the Liberian coast. We have secured the coast and the surrounding areas. I sent 5000 men under the command of Ratnitz to help the Liberian forces on the Sinoe airport.''Theofanes replied.
''Excellent work, my son.''said kaiser Wilhelm from the telephone.
''When, we have gotten rid of the insurgents on the airport, we will make plans to free the rest of Liberia. With the support of the other nations, I am sure we will defeat those terrorists and we will end this conflict.''
''Alright. But be carefull my son. Never underestimate the enemy. Remember that you and Ratnitz are responsible for all those lifes.''
''Yes father. Trust me.''
''Okay. I need to go now. Good luck.''
''Thanks, father. Tell the news to the rest of the family. Tell them that I miss them.''
''Alright, goodbye.''and the telephone closed.

Theofanes sighed. He left the phone on the table and went out of his tent. He heard screams. He turned his head and saw many soldiers running from the woods towards the camp. He asked one of the soldiers what happened.

''Your...your majesty...they...they... slaughtered us! We were ambushed in the forest near Trade Town...''he said while he was trying to breathe.
''WHAT? WHAT WERE YOU DOING THERE? YOUR MISSION WAS TO SUPPORT THE LIBERIANS!''yelled fumed with anger.
'The soldier told Theofanes about the decision of Ratnitz.
''SHIT, SHIT! FUUCK!''Theofanes started shouting.
''HOW MANY OF YOU HAVE SURVIVED?''
''We... we were saved by the Artasian fighters who were partolling near us...I don't have an idea...how many died...''

Theofanes turned his head towards the rest of the survivors. Then he said to the soldier:
The other 2500 men...where are they going?''
''They are going to support the Liberians.''

Theofanes then went back to his tent and took the megaphone. When he went out, he ordered 20000 men to get ready to march towards the Sinoe airport. The rest will stay at the camp under the command of the Admiral. He gave a deadly warning to the Admiral to not leave the camp. he also ordered him to treat the fleeing soldiers. When the army was ready, he called Lieutenant-Colonel Afrie Chauffard of the forth French Republic to cover his flanks. He also called Lieutenant General Irving Farret of the Imperial army to thank him for saving his soldiers. Then he get to his car and order the troops to march.

Under Insurgent Control

The capital city of Liberia, the former jewel of the Liberian peoples, was now burning. Thousands of insurgents marched through the streets in the hours before the Astarian invasion, setting buildings on fire and executing those that resisted or whom they deemed too weak. Carrying black banners with Arabic writing, they marched alongside their guntrucks, pillaging as they went. The last of the National Police and Liberian Army defenders in the city died hours ago, right after the President and her government were rushed out to Spain. As the sun began to set on the city, the fires could be seen from miles away, burning orange in the peach colored sky.

As the Astarians began their invasion, guntrucks armed with .50 caliber machine guns opened fire on the closest aircraft and vehicle that dropped from the plane. Missile launchers and other weaponry captured from Police stations and Army checkpoints were used in full against the Astarians. As the Paratroopers began their landing, they would be swarmed by AQIM and Boko Haram warriors, some armed with Cougar armored vehicles left behind by the Liberian Army forces that attempted to re-take the city, scattering after the Colonel was captured and beheaded in front of his men.

Greenville/Sinoe Airport

The attacks began in mass as the fires died down. Thousands of insurgents opened fire all at once, catching a few Liberian soldiers off-guard, riddling them with bullets from their hiding places all along the treelines. Captain Akumbe took a round in the shoulder but took his position on the PKM, sending massive amounts of fire downrange.

"Where the hell are the Kasantians!?" Screamed out Sergeant Zuniga, who peaked out from behind the Cougar vehicle to take the head of an unlucky terrorist. Captain Akumbe ignored the question, too busy trying to survive. Through the window on the Cougar, a bullet sailed through, smashing into the Captain's kneecap. He dropped from the gun, scrambling inside the vehicle as the bullets sounded like hail in a heavy storm. He kicked open the rear door with his good leg and crawled out, hitting the ground on the way down. Sergeant Zuniga rushed to help him up, taking him by his shoulder and setting him down by the rear passenger tire. He began giving him first aid, wrapping the knee in a piece of white cloth, while a Private ran over to continue laying down fire, only to have his brains splatter the ground as a sniper took his life.

"I'm out of ammo, Captain." The Sergeant said as he quickly looked to his right, eyeing an incoming insurgent that was rushing his line with a machete. The Sergeant moved to the right, hiding behind the passenger front tire and when the terrorist crossed the front of the Cougar, the heavy and muscular Sergeant Zuniga speared him, sending a knife through his jaw. The Sergeant rushed back to the Captain, who was wrapping his shoulder as well. In the distance, he watched as there were still a few dozen of his soldiers fighting, taking cover, peaking to take out their targets. Good men, refusing to accept defeat, even in an unwinnable battle. It inspired him. He unholstered his Glock 23 and racked the slide, chambering a .40 caliber round.

"We fight to the last man. That's an order." He said as he struggled to get up, letting out a grunt as he got to his feet. He turned to look towards the insurgent lines, eyeing a guntruck that breached the thick line of shrubbery. Captain Akumbe, leveled his sidearm and waited as the truck grew closer. Sergeant Zuniga picked up the Private's rifle and chambered a round, waiting. As the truck breached the Liberian line, Akumbe sent six hollow point rounds right into the chest and head of the turret operator, sending him flying off the truck as it slid to the left. As the driver attempted to get out, Sergeant Zuniga peppered him with 7.62 rounds to the chest and head.

"Keep fighting, my brothers! Let them know that the Sons of Liberia did not go without a fight!" Said Captain Akumbe.
