I'd like to mention the Second Best Card Collection here as well since it is nearing 1500 cards of various classifications of the number 2.

I particularly enjoy Ancot's collection of single-color flags, as well as The Soylent Green Party's "You Suck at Cooking" collection.
A good friend of mine made these collections, which admittedly violate one of the criteria for this list, but I think they're impressive enough to warrant inclusion.

Of course the size factor highlights them (especially the season 2 version), but it's still a tough decision on whether to add or not, and for now, I'm not adding them unless a lot of people agree that it should be there.

I think that such an expansive collection could be an exception to the rules here.

Coffin-Breathe wrote:First of all, I´d like to state, that I´m very glad (and thankful), that the "collection thread" has been continued (especially since my own collection is noticed here ).
But I couldn´t help, but find some of the noticed collections pretty outdated, as they seem not to have been maintained by their owners for months, thus stagnating; this might be because of the owners running out of space, lost further interest in specific collections, or maybe even decided to stay with "season ones" only. Also some are complete (without any sign for it) or close to this.
Therefore I propose, that these collections should be evaluated by someone (or anyone who likes to announce his own collection) and maybe updated/replaced by bigger/newer ones of the same theme or marked (as some already are) as continued or completed.
I also would like to encourage "theme or other specific collecting players" (and I do know for sure, that there is a whole bunch of them) to announce there collections here (and not to be shy about and wait, if someone else does so), regardless if originally was meant otherwise - because I guess, that otherwise we would miss many interesting and genuine collections (if not someone occasionally stumbles across and find them "showworthy").
And then, I also would like if some of those collectors would renew their postings in the forum and therefore participate more in the open market instead of silently collecting (how should anyone know ?), or relate on private farming or occasional gifts.

I don't know how you'd classify it, but the collections tickles me and could probably be included somewhere. It's a nice curiosity.
