The dangers posed by some of the others are fairly on the nose in terms of how blatant they are, but vampires have an insidiousness about them. I would likely even be friends with people who I knew were werewolves, as I'd know that when I see them in their human form they have full control of themselves, and have a predictable cycle of when they are dangerous. Vampires on the other hand would just be potentially dangerous all the time.

Werewolves are pretty easily containable, honestly. Vampires are the one that scares anybody.
I feel like dragons and fae are the sort of external threat only the government(or other similarly large organization) could potentially deal with, and how big a danger it is to the rest of us depends on how good a job they do.

Figure out who the vampires are and lock them in the containment room with the werewolves when they are transformed.

Negotiate with the dragons, offer them total control of the Federal Reserve and the World Bank on the condition that they find the fairies and burn them alive. If they don't bite, offer Switzerland to sweeten the deal.

We can fund it through pay-per-view.

Now that's a tight monetary policy...

Look, Dio, it's either them or the Jews in charge, and I know whose side I'm on!

I've heard that ye olde vampires were obsessively mathematically inclined. We could enslave them for free accounting and tax services!

Dangit, I made this thread to talk about something not coronavirus!

Sorry, I couldn't help myself. I was just talking about it with a friend IRL a few days ago.

nothing is completely sociopathic. but even the most harmless creatures can be dangerous.
when they want to play.

but vampires, were-beings, and dragons, aren't 'creatures', they're people.
they might at times be unaware of their behavior, just as someone under the influence of a mind altering substance might be,
and as people, naturally far more dangerous then any mere creatures.

werewolves can be told "down boy" by temple maidens.
vampires can of course buy or be given credit at blood banks.
and dragons can be dealt with, usually by other dragons.

'taurs and other were-beings have far more interesting diversity then traditional, and frankly prejudicial, fantasy attributes to them.
and again these are people we are talking about, who may simply be the sapient life forms of planets in other solar systems.

there really are no limits, well other then those of physics and chemistry, as to the forms life on other worlds may posses.

if it wasn't just as far from there to here as it is from here to there, this people might even help humans get over some their most rediculous hang ups.
