Latinoamerica Libre is a spanish-speaking region, where the main topic is the roleplaying between ours nations, always based on the real life. Having an own United Nation organization, an European Union, a global version of the Eurovision Song Contest and fantastic nations with a deepth history and great intelligence and skill for role play and setting and interaction between countries, who always interact in our Regional Message Board.

Our government

We have an Out of Character government, consists of six nations that have continued to fight to guarantee a clean, integral role and a community free of toxicity, and full of fellowship and trust among the members. They aren't democratic elected, and the new members are elected by they. This government is in charge of approving and denying embassies, approving resolutions outside the role-playing game and ensuring regional order.

The government in character is the United Nations. It consists in only two chambers, the General Assembly and the Security Council. The Secretary General is elected by a regional poll of seven days, between all the nominees, and the Security Council are the members of the OOC government but they don't have veto.

Hello, i am Wapitoko the Communication Minister of Latinoamérica Libre. I am not a native english speaker, but thanks to the experience in this game (i've about 14 years playing on NS), my english has been developed to the point of helping me in school activities and to present the TOEFL B2 5 years ago.

¡Hello! I have some news from our region.

Now, our Security Council has four non permanent chairs, democratic elected by all of our members. Actually, the elected members are: Vegaga, Gran Ruzia, Sagerra and Greliser.

¡We've an ongoing Latinovision Song Contest! Hosted in Gotthenburg, who is the winner of the second edition.

By the way, we're encouraging the pride month. Our flag have a temporal change, and us (the administration) is so proud having a bisexual and a gay members.

Hello everyone,
From the entire community of Latinoamerica Libre, we wish you a Happy Pride Month! Acknowledging all the difficulties we the LGBTQ+ people have to confront in most (to not say them all) of the countries in Latin America. To stand up in support toward anyone who is having difficult times or dealing with homophobia, transphobia whatsoever, we are now using our Pride Flag.

It has been a long year since the last time I made an update about what were happening on our region, but summarizing, we change our flag to one more good looking, and added another administrator to our team, so welcome Vegaga!

Well, leaving the rp aside, I'd like to talk a little bit about how I feel in just over a year that I've been in the region.

Latinoamerica Libre was the only non-Lusophone region that I actually joined. I confess that at the beginning, there was a fear of not fitting in, it is not so easy for Brazilians to fit in, although we are great hospitable.

In fact it was not an easy start, after all, it was something totally new. Well, surpassing all my expectations, the region gave me a great welcome, and I fitted in quickly, well...I don't want to brag but...a newcomer winning a competition with veterans in the region is not something recurrent. Hey Lespiack, take care, the next latinovision approaches and gotthenburg comes like a rocket. And let alone a rookie getting a seat on the Security Council, competing with great and influential nations, Gotthenburg was a phenomenon XD

Over and above any ideological differences, the administration and members of the region are always as considerate as possible, and do what they can to accommodate new members. It's true that not everyone agrees, but for me, Latinoamerica became a family that I managed within the nationstates and I feel that I finally fit in a region, I dare say that I fit better in a Hispanic region than in a Lusophone region.

The region is a very kind place, it is interesting to discuss different issues of the RP world here.

I work with two nations, one based on an experiment and the other based on my dream country.

I think it is a good place to debate and discuss, very open-mind in all kind of issues and topics.

I would like to meet more people form the Iberian Peninsule here, and who knows ? even English Speakers wanting to practice their Spanish language skills, i think they would bring interesting ideas to the region
