[Q] How the hell do I embed images into posts

So I finally figured out how to link to images using imgur, but how do I insert images directly into my posts, and what's up with the 1800px height limit? For instance, I took a full-page screenshot, saved it as a png, uploaded it to imgur, right-clicked and selected View image from the context menu, copied the URL into the post, and used the img BBCode function.

This is what I get:

Your images may only be up to 1800 pixels high.

You'll need to get a smaller version of the image. The maximum height as you've seen is 1800px and width is 1000px and there's nothing you can do to get around it unfortunately. You can easily resize by putting the image into Paint/Paint 3D and resizing it to, say, 50% original or something. Hope this helps.
