Welcome to the 1st NationStates Great Exhibition.

The NationStates Great Exhibition, or NSGE for short, is the premier yearly event for regions and nations alike to share their ideas, culture and history and culture in one place. With talks and interviews on subjects from Socialising and Influence to NationStates Moderation, we have experts on every imaginable topic delivering lectures, Q&As and interviews. The full list of speakers can be viewed here. We are also hosting regional exhibitions from a select group of regions, you can view more information about our regional exhibitions here. The exhibition will run from the 29th of May to the 1st of June.


All interviews will be held on Discord (https://discord.gg/VPqZGU4), however, most of the events will be taking place on the forums, which can be viewed here: https://nsge.flarum.cloud/


Links to the talks and the dates of when said talks will be released will be updated later.

Looking forward to this! As I just mentioned in the world fair thread, be sure to put some thought into moderation decisions. I'd hate to see OOC drama overshadow what could be an excellent event.

Stop giving misogynistic abusers a platform. Anyone who sides with Tiktok Star Andrew Tate even 1% of what he says will be treated as enemy who should be shamed out of society. Impressions+Views+Videowatches=$. Nothing he says is new or revolutionary. I don't care if he said "some good stuff", it's still bad because: the more you watch him, the more ad revenue MONEY and algorithm BOOSTS you're giving him to traffick victims. And don't say the victim lied, a young man stupidly told me that the victim confessed to lying, I told em to link me proof, articles or the Audio of her confession, he googled and found 0 proof 0 articles, and he realized he was spreading fake rumors he heard and BELIEVED without fact-check. Don't brand victims as liars without GOOGLING. Debated here

Most of the talks will be given on the forums which can be accessed through the dispatches.

There is an event Discord which will be used for interviews primarily. Interview transcripts will be posted on the forums.

NationStates Great Exhibition Statement on the Union of Democratic States

Earlier today, the NationStates Great Exhibition (NSGE), was made aware that the Union of Democratic States (UDS) had been posting advertisements for part of their Exhibit in other region's discord servers without first seeking permission from said regions. NationStates Great Exhibition condemns UDS' advertising in other region's discord servers and wishes to make abundantly clear that NSGE did not authorise said advertising and never will. A decision will be made on the status of UDS' regional Exhibit in the next 24 hours.

Oh no, they accidentally advertised somewhere they shouldn't have. Who the fuck hasn't done that once or twice, give me a break, you don't need to make a "decision on the status" of their exhibit.

Decision has been resolved anyway, they’re keeping UDS’s exhibit. Agree with you tho...

It should go without saying that the management of NSGE lacks the authority to give advertisement permissions to any region in a server that does not fall under its purview. Any other perspective regions participating in NSGE should keep this in mind.
